It was the 1st time we had taken the kids to Greece, and I must say if it had not been for Pete and Donna the entertainers and the friendly hotel staff, it would have been a very dull and boring holiday.
The accommodation is spotless, the breakage charges are quite expensive, and accidents do happen, but the only advice I can give is be honest with reception.
We would go back if the staff were the same as they made the holiday.
The resort of Kavos is not the best, a little grubby and beware no chemist, which is essential when you have kids.
When we went in May not everything was open and it was getting ready for the season to start, but this was not a bad thing having 2 kids.
There was 2 Kosmar reps, The guy was great very friendly and happy to help, the girl, miserable and I will leave it at that.

Apartments were very clean! The first day that we arrived was the first day of the apartments opening! It was so clean and the staff could not of done anything more for you. The English lady behind the reception was very nice and friendly and the people who run the shop downstairs.
Watch out for the scary dog that lives at the bottom of the hill! It was not very lively when we went as it was the first day of the season but we sore all the Greeks setting up the clubs and bars ready for the busy summer! We spent most nights in "the factory" bar with a coat on because it was cold and raining when we were there!
But the apartments could not of been better they were lovely and would probably go back there just to stay at the Olympion village!

Honestly was the most lovely place I've ever stayed, apartments were gorgeous, clean, spacious and the pool was lovely. The snack bar is cheap and has a variety of food, we ate there most nights and lunchtimes, and the bar is open 'til late, and has the most lovely bartender (Billy) ever, makes wicked cocktails and is really friendly. Location is really great, the reps go on about it being on a hill... but its honestly not that bad, you can do it drunk in high heels no problem. Right next to the beach and all the bars/clubs on the main strip and there's a supermarket/shop on your doorstep.
Only problem that we had was being made to leave the apartment at midday (13 hours before our flight). Reception do let you have the room until 7pm for 40 euros which isn't bad. We did this, thinking it would be the case, and at 1130am were woken by the reps and told there had been a late booking and we had to be out in half an hour.... which wasn't fun. Reception (who were totally fab and friendly) do let you leave luggage there, but it was a little inconvenient (think going in the pool, and not being able to have a shower after). We got our 40 euros back though.
The reps were okay, (we were with Kosmar) in all fairness they didn't have much to do with us, the event we booked got cancelled because of the football, but all the excursions were overpriced and it appeared that no one was really bothered about going. Some of the activities (e.g.: trip to the blue lagoon) people found cheaper in the town and went themselves instead of going with the reps. They were helpful and friendly but not what we expected in terms of going out.
The nightlife was really, really fab but watch out for the PR's. They won't take no for an answer. We found going in two's (we were a group of 4) gave us opportunity to get away from them in order to meet up again. Stick to the main strip, there isn't too much going on down the side roads. Expect the same kind of music in pretty much every bar, I must have heard the pussycat dolls about 300 times in the week we stayed.
The apartment did provide its own entertainment, such as the BBQ night, but it wasn't really all that! It wasn't the "best night of the holiday" as we were promised.
The apartments themselves though were great, there was a lovely atmosphere, you definitely meet some lovely people out there. All staff were really friendly. We only had a problem with the cleaners. They had a habit of waking you up. Service wasn't that fab and there were accusations of money and items going missing while we were there, so I recommend paying for the safe (if you split it between 4 it's cheap) and also I recommend paying for the air conditioning.
Definitely great value for money, also from what we heard it was the best hotel in Kavos. Facilities were great, except perhaps the showers (bathroom small and flooded easily!) but in general it was absolutely lovely and definitely worth going, very few cons and lots of pros, would definitely go again. The town (Kavos) probably isn't the best place for families but the apartments were family friendly and there were a few kids there, although the majority of guests were 17-25, which it suited. Honestly the most lovely place I've ever stayed, great facilities and staff also. Definitely recommended, but do watch out for the (small) cons.

We had a fantastic holiday last year at the Olympion Village, the staff were very friendly and the apartments were very clean.
We did not know what to expect as we only paid around £250 for a week! But we were very impressed when we arrived. Its perfect for all age ranges, but can be quite noisy at night. Its in the perfect location of Kavos, only a couple of minutes to the nightlife and beach.
I would definitely go back to the Olympion Village and would recommend it for young people.

We had a wonderful time at the Olympion Village. The place was nice and new and clean. The pool was lovely, and never over crowded, sun loungers were a plenty.
The food we can only go by what we had, and we just had bar snacks, but they were very, very good! The staff there were all wonderful, very helpful and friendly. They appreciate the odd Greek word, even if you feel silly! Yamass! Is a good one! The rooms were cleaned everyday, and the bed sheets etc were changed once in the week we were there. I would advise taking your own towels like we did though, as they only provide 2 small hand towels.
We would love to stay there again, but although the resort/hotel was 10/10, we wouldn't want to go to Kavos again.
The only bad thing about staying here was that although we paid for 7 nights, you actually only get 6! So we were kicked out of our room at 12 midday Friday. But our flight wasn't til 5.30AM Saturday morning! This however would be down to the tour operator (Kosmar) and not Olympion itself.
The staff allowed us to leave our suitcases in reception (which a load of us did). You can however keep the room until 8pm, (Friday) but for an extra charge of 35 euros. So for the sake of 8 hours during the day, you may as well pack up and leave your bags in reception and go into town for the day like we did.
The location was perfect! Its about a 1 minute walk down to the road where all the bars/restaurants etc were. Far enough away from all the noise although being a 1 min walk you wouldn't think so. But you really can't hear anything. Its not a steep hill either.
10/10!

We had a fantastic holiday, the hotel was brilliant, the rooms were very spacious and always kept clean. The staff were fab will do anything for you.
We got to know the entertainers, Donna and Pete very well and they made our holiday, best entertainers we've seen and they did very well considering how quiet it was when we were there.
The reception staff were brilliant always had a smile and were very professional, especially Kim. We definitely want to stay here again next year, but for two weeks rather than just the one.

It was absolutely lovely, would recommend it to anybody!! Pool is great, loads of sunbeds and a 24 hour bar. . enough said.
The restaurant is really nice and reasonably priced, which is always good. Staff are friendly and a doctor is quickly there in an emergency, we found out the hard way! There is a bit of a hill to get to it but it is well worth the walk.
We want to try somewhere different this year but if we could take this place with us we would! Thanks for an amazing holiday x x

The pool was okay and there was plenty of sunbeds for everyone. There was a mini market on site so you could a few bits and bobs till you went down the town which was a 3/4 minute walk to get more things.
The beach was about 6/7 minutes walk with many restaurants on the beachfront. The pool was not overcrowded and there was not alot of entertainment just the satellite T.V! The rooms and complex was modern but the smell in the morning is bad. There is a good restaurant on site that offers good meals at small prices all through the day.

10/10. The apartment was very clean and tidy.
The food was excellent, the staff were wicked. Very fast with food services and they definitely no how to make you laugh. They can help you hire Quad Bikes that are legit for a good price.
Was my first ever holiday and I’m pleased it was in the Olympion as it was the best accommodation in Kavos. Will definitely go back there again.
