The Olympian Village in Kavos has to be one of the best hotels available in kavos itself. Upon arrival we were given our room keys straight away and escorted to our room by karen the rep. For a studio the room was fairly large with 3 beds, a kitchen area and bathroom. Everything was very clean and modern. The only down point is the bathroom as it tends to get flooded every time you use the shower however this doesnt take long to resolve. Cannot comment upon the air conditioning since we decided against paying the 45 euros for it but according to other guests it does come in handy and the rooms do get extremely hot at night! The pool area itself was lovely with plenty of sun beds for everyone! Food from the hotel restaurant was delicious and the greek bbq night was great! Would recommend having Billy's cocktails, slush puppy cocktails where to die for! Reception are also very helpful and will do al they can to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday. Was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel to kavos main strip, however be warned it is a pretty steep hill! Food wise would defintely recommend desparados!! Amazing fajitas and burgers! also allow you to cook you own steak. The drunken squid also provided a very delicious meal. We did try the golden courser, apparently meant to be the best chinese in kavos however the portions where tiny and could definitely find a much better chinese! Breakfasts round at pulse have to be the best and definitely fill you up! As for pubs and clubs, they are all basically the same and offer the same deals. its just a matter of dodging the pr's in order to find a pub that suits you. Foam party in the sex club was good and a trip to the beach at 3 in the morning will offer you a sit around bonfire with hotdogs and kebabs and some pretty good banter! KAvos is pretty wild so not really suited to the faint hearted! The beach was fairly clean, plenty of sun beds and the sea was clear and warm! also very shallow. would recomment getting a peddle boat to take you further out. Also paid 25 euros for a quad bike for the day which was amazing! Weather wise it was extremely warm!! with more or less no wind so make sure to take plenty of sun cream at least factor 40 or above as the sun will really burn you! at night time it does not get much cooler however there are a few mosquitoes so buy some insect repellent as that seemed to do the trick!

Well firstly....the hotel was possibly one of the most gawjus things ever seen and very well maintained the pool was always well looked after...however i would not stay again becuase
shower flooded entire room, we had 2 showers in ours both flodded neither had a hanger for the head..
other peoples keys worked in our doors
we had our room broken into 1 night...security guard looked shifty then said he would phone boss...but refused to phone police...and told us to go to bed...were not children.... next day no one came to see us not evan our rep...we went to find out whats going on, to be told by words of the of so polite manager and manageress "its not our problem" to then laugh..as you can understand 5 19 year olds we wasnt 2 impressed by this response...2 top this....on last day...everyone from our side of hotel pranked each other and someone put something on our door handle and they tried to fine us 60 euros for that...they fined our neighbours 60 euros for a pillow case and towel missing and another 60 for losing a safe key...in my opinion you can go down to tescos get a pillow case for 68p not really feeling 60 euros for a pillow case...the manager and manageress where possibly worst going like " Fawlty towers"
enough of bad points 2 people who made the hotel amazing...
were the believe to be "head waiter" at resturant was well spoken in english and a great laugh...also Billy the barmen was always a laugh and always helpful
1 Point for anyone going.... Take Own Towles...When get there dont get the safe....as somehow it manages to open its self at night...and the staff think your money can walk!...
Overall Raiting off 6 from us
Would not go back there but thanks to those who made it great
Side note - Kavos Is Mental The PRs and club owners are amazing people

The Olympion was really nice , the rooms were very modern but you only get small towel and no tiolet roll , mmmm. had to queue for ages to get in our room when we got there , they took forever to hand the keys over. All the staff were really nice though and the rep very good at her job. Kavos is different, its has everything you need , loads of clubs , bars, restaurants , we did different stuff every day , did a few days out too , went to corfu town and saw a bit of corfu too , well recommended , we did the boats bbq on the sunday with the rep too and had such a good time , Babbis the boat man the best boat in kavos . Really good finish to our holliday.

THIS WILL PROBERLY BE THE BEST AND USEFUL REVIEW YOU WILL READ..PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!
I went to Kavos 26th May - 9th June. As Kavos is situated at the bottom of the island, it takes a while to get to places e.g Corfu Town,Aqua Land and the Airport.
The Olympion village is proberly the best apartments that there is in Kavos. It is situated on a slight hill, but it is no problem at all.
The receptionist and rep (Karen) are both lovely people and always willing to help. Holidaymakers can book trips through the reps - but go down to the main strip because they are cheaper and do the same job. Aqualand and BBQ boat trip are highly recommended.
The room's are lovely, spacious and clean. TAKE YOUR OWN TOWELS AND TOILET ROLLS as they only provide hand towels and only supply toilet roll when you first arrive. The door key is needed for the electricity, so it is a pain if one person is having an early night and others are staying out because then they have to wait up for them or get woken up to let them in.
There is hardly no entertainment at night based inside the complex, except for the greek night on friday nights which is highly recommended for a bit of traditional food and dancing. Billys bar is also popular. Billy is a great guy and makes a night by the pool a good laugh.
The number of mosquitoes for this time of the year was horriffic, so i dread to think what it would be like in peak season. At this time of year, pubs and resturants are just starting to open up ( be aware that they always pester you when you are walking by to get you inside their pub or resturant. )
The quality of beach is also poor, with seaweed in the sea and manky sand. the locals say that they renovate it with tractors and clean it up, but at this time of year, its a no go.
Overall, an excellent holiday. more suitable for 18-30 year olds.

As a familly with 2 kids we were a bit worried about staying in kavos but it was such a cheap deal we had to take the risk and hope it was sunny and we could hire a car and get out of the resort and just use the appartments to sleep in , well we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived , the appartments were first rate and the resort itself was great , we ended up not bothering with the car at all , we booked a few trips with the rep at the welcome meeting , I have to mention Karen the rep , it rained on the day we were supposed to be going to Aqualand and she actually came to find us the day before and told us the weather wasnt going to be that good and would we like to go on a different day instead , we ended up going on the sunday , it was a really nice day and we all enjoyed it , our friends Bev and Neil ( hi Guys) booked aqualand in the town and paid 2 euros less but ended up going in the rain because the shop they bought their ticket from wouldnt change the day, they also spent about 2 and a half hours on a bus while we went straight there and it only took just over an hour , well worth booking with the rep , had a really good holliday and want to go back next year .

Just got back from Kavos , had a wicked time even though it was very quiet in the town and the beach hadnt been cleaned for the summer yet , we stayed round the pool most days and ate in the restaurant at the appartments too , the food was fantastic and really cheap , Joanna the receptionist is really sweet and we always stopped off on our way out at Billys bar for a cocktail . I reckon he is the only place in kavos who does a proper drink , we went to the greek night on the friday which was exellent , we also went on the boat bbq with Karen the rep and had the best day out of our holliday. I would like to say I have never known a rep that is so helpfull and friendly . When I have been on holiday before you hardly ever see the rep but she had an office at the Olympion so she was there all the time , nothing was too much trouble for her , will be back next year , best appartment in Kavos

Got back from Kavos on Monday 26th May, had a fab two weeks for a fab cost! we had 2 rainy days at the beginning of each week but it did reach near enough 30 degrees c most of the other days! fab accommodation, cleaned everyday, TAKE BATH TOWELS & TOILET ROLL!! If you go in May you will see the fireflys - they really are something special. If you book any excursions DON'T book them through the rep - they cost more! go to the bottom of the hill and turn left - there's a few places that do them cheaper. Go to Aqualand! its great fun! i would advise against the boat BBQ - its full of young PR's throwing sand at each other and getting caked in shaving foam! The Greek night at the apts are loads of fun! Greek dancers and fire; the BBQ food is lovely and all for 11euro's per person. The pool is lovely, catches the sun all day but there's a lot of chlorine in there making anything white turn yellow. The best bars to stay around if you dont want to get bombarded by PR's are Ezee (Richie is awesome) and Scorers (you can watch all your footie there - Michael is lovely) For the best food around go to PENNY'S KITCHEN its lovely food, all homemade - try the louisianna bake if you like chicken!! Food at the hotel is good but slightly expensive. Everyone is so friendly we had no trouble with cockroaches, ants or any other insects! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Booked this holiday on the internet, so we wasn't sure what we would get. My mind was put to rest when i seen the lovely resort and how clean it was. Although it was raining the first 2 days we had lovley weather after. As it was raining we hired a dvd player from reception. The apartments were cleaned every day but you will need to take a towel only hand towels were provided. The food was excellent, never had one bad meal!!!! We had a walk around Kavos and from we seen this was the best hotel by far. The staff were really freindly and always willing to help. The trip back to the airport was not so good, the airport is tiny and it was manic hundreds of people everywhere. I did feal the rep just dumped us there, but then it doesnt take a scientist to work out where to go.
A big shout out to Sharon & Chris a lovely couple who we met at the resort, Sharon i hope you read this your a lovley lady and one of the most Genuine people i have met on holiday. Hope you enjoyed it? Have a lovley time in Egypt and all the best for the future. xx Enjoy!!!!!
I would Definitely recommend this Hotel.

Just like to say we a had a fab holiday at the Olympion, the staff were really nice. Billy does best drinks in Kavos (you know what you are getting with him), Kim and Ioanna the receptionists were really nice.
We went to the bbq night which was the best night we had all holiday, we also had the best day on the boat bbq to the blue lagoon that we booked with Karen the rep at the welcome meeting, half the hotel went on the same one, our friends booked what they thought was the same boat trip from the beach and they got it for 1 euro less but it turned out to be a different boat and was rubbish, we did loads of games on our boat and had a great time on the beach with food and drink all in. Well worth paying the extra euro. Loads of us went to aqualand too with the rep, was another great day out, well recommended, gunna go back again next year.

4 girls came back from olympian last monday..it has got to be the best place in kavos..most of the other hotels are near the main bar strip and can get quite nosy..as this hotel is not its lovely to get away from the noise if u have a hangover!!..all of the staff are great, especially billy(behind the bar).they will all look after u!the rooms are nice and clean..hold the shower by the head.less water goes over the floor and is easier...toilet rolls are cheap in the hotel shop.people in kavos are lovely..dont be put out by the P.R's,they will annoy u at first but once they get to know u, u'll love them!!theyre all lovely!..we had a great holiday and would deff go back to olympian when we next return to kavos!!
