really enjoyed staying at the hotel all the staff were lovely especially joanna. only thing was its not a family accomodation as there is no entertainment on at night apart from the bbq greek night on a friday which was brill. recommend hiring dvd player if your a family as there is nothing to do in the evening. the restaurant is pricey but the food is ace.. the hotel is lovely but wouldn't go back to kavos as the beach and streets were filthy and dangerous. be sure to take toilet roll as you only get one and nappy bags.

well me and my wife and two kids .had a holiday in the olympian village.the hotel was great and food to.but there was nothing for the kids to do...very clean and spacious . the rep very helpful.i would advice you to go on the boat trip.well worth the money and the blue lagoon beautiful...the water park was good as well.the town centre kavos . well it is very run down.and no foot paths.to much traffic for a very small road.the resturant in town pennys kitchen well worth a stop to eat...good value for money..and the local beer mythos not bad at all....

Stayed at Olympion apartments this aug and i gots say they were FAB!!!! The staff were great, really nice, couldn't have been better, rooms were cleaned every day except sunday, FAB!!!!! Pool is very clean with loads of sunbeds for everyone. Do pay the extra 45 euros for the air conditoning as it was well worth it, also take LOADS of mosquitos stuff as we have never been bitten as much as here and everyone we saw was the same.
However, Kavos town for us, was a different matter!!! We had 2 children and didn't realise is was aimed ay 18-30 crowd, but wasn't really a problem cause we just ate out in the town then came back to the apartments which have a resturant and lively bar with great current music til late. When the kids went to bed we just sat on the balcony, had drinks and listened to the music!!!!!
Overall, a lovely place but Kavos itself isn't nice so we won't be going back, only wish you could pick up the apartments and staff and take them somewhere, for us, a bit more family friendly!!!

the apartments and the complex are very nice and one of the best we have been to. the staff and karen are all very nice and friendly.take your own bath towels and u will have to buy your own tolet paper as they do not provide that much.their is no entertainment on the complex. the cattering equipment is not up to much and we had to eat out for all of the holiday. we were a family of four with 2 older kids one of 13 and one of 16 but felt thease apartments were really for 18-30s,they have a cocktail bar on sight which opened at 18.00 and closed when the last person went home so thier was quite a bit of noise. the main strip is defintly aimed at the 18-30s with lots of clubs and bars,thier was nothing for familys to do.the beach was very narrow with lots of seeweed and did not look like it had been cleaned for ages. thier are lots of tarverns try the village we found this to be the best,depending were u eat u also get the smell of seweage.after we booked our holiday we were told that this could we a lively resort and it is, thier is nothing here for familys and for people with youger children it was even worse as walking down the main strip could be quite dangerous,as it is very narrow and cars fly past i would not recommend this resort as it is defintly amid at 18-30s

Just came back from olympian village and had a lovely holiday. Was a bit dubious as it was just me and my 13 yr old daughter and i knew it was a party resort but really theres something for everyone. The complex is beautiful, very clean and modern. Pool lovely but a high amount of chlorine, dont wear any expensive white bikinis lol. I also got an eye infection over there but that was remedied quickly as lots of doctors services, but think it might have been off the pool. Take a bath towel as u only get hand towels supplied, and hold the shower over you and u wont flood the floor. Staff are lovely,very friendly. Food in restaurant is exceptional value, especially as greece in general now is expensive compared to last year. Great resort for young ppl never saw or heard any trouble, everyone was really friendly. Get mosquito repellant as soon as u get there, you WILL get bitten lol, i was covered first night but plug ins and sprays seem to make it a bit better. There was a few young families at complex, but in general kavos doesnt have a lot for young families to do, but me and my daughter enjoyed having a nice meal and a few drinks at night. You dont hear much noise at night as you are 5 mins away from the strip but the rooms are quite hot so sometimes was hard to sleep. Overall a really lovely holiday, cant fault the olympian, just the pool chemicals a bit strong lol. Would definitly go back.

Kavos is the best holiday i have ever been on. At the olympian The rooms were really nice, took a little while to get into them, but was worth the wait. the staff were fantastic. Made you feel sooo welcome!! Billys cocktail bar... by far the best cocktails going in Kavos!!!!!!!!!!
JC's and Rockys were the best bars on the strip, and rolling stones... atch they were all great lol!! If your into sweat pits then checkout Venue... Not the nicest of places though... got good deals... but is FAR to hot!! they rave about having aircon... but it dont do nothing for ya!!!
I'm going back there next year for diffinate!!!

Olympion village was lovely, the rooms were clean and spacey , a few issues about the shower curtain and the water but spoke to the rep and she sorted them out on the same day , very helpfull rep. Nice pool and very friendly staff. food nice in the restaurant and the greek night a must , went on the kosmar boat trip to the blue lagoon , the best day of our hols , also went to Aqualand and into Corfu town , the rep again very informative about the island and the town, she gave us maps and showed us the best places to visit . The welcome meeting really good info ,had a really good holiday , going back next year.

the apartment was really nice an the food there was really nice. the night life is mad with about 200 clubs down a mile strip!!! i went with 4 other lads an we had a great time we never went out in the day because we wher so hung ova!! clubbin till like 6 in the mornin then going to a club called after!! on the beach to watch the sun come up!! this is the sorta holiday you wanna go on if your lookin for sex!! haha i wouldnt say a family holiday!! the girls there are propa sexy!! LOOK >>watch out for the PRS!! sexy girls dragin u in the bars for a drink but its ther job!! so watch out haha im defo going again hopefully this year!! watch the videos on sussex-boys.bebo.com <<<<copy n paste it!! oggy oggy oggy oi oi oi!!!! sound of the police!!
the only thing tht annoyed me is someone put a condom filled with sumthing on r door n we wouldnt touch it so we got fined 50 euros + another 50 for a bed sheat lol

Our room was very basic but clean. Cleaners came nearly every day to change bedding or empty buckets.
Receptionist Ioannna was lovely, very pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. She helped us keep our room longer than the normal check out time so we wouldn't have to wait around for 6 hours. Only paid 30euro.
The apartments are set on a steep incline which is poorly lit. Always walk back with someone as it could be pretty scary when it was late and dark.
Greek Barbeque night is a must!! Great food and great entertainment!! For only 11 euro!!
For those who want to party hard then Kavos is the place to be!! Loads of bars all on the one street, lots of good deals on booze. There are the usual people trying to get you into their bar, but thankfully most of them aren't that pushy.
The Beach - Non existent!! Do not go to Kavos if you want a great beach. Beach is all pebbles and filth. Disgusting!!!
Lots of nice places to eat, would recommend the Tex Mex best fajitas I ever had. Golden Courser for a fab chinese meal. Was lovely.
A good resort for people who want to do nothing through the day after their heavy night out, would not recommend for families. everyone was 18 when we were there and at 23 we felt old. Mainly down to their behaviour mind you!!
Enjoy your trip, hope you go away with a great group of people as fellow holiday makers might not be your kind of people. Locals are really good tho.

I am just back from kavos and i really enjoyed it.The night life was great and all the people are really friendly.But if i was too come back to kavos then i would definetely not come back to the olympion village as there was money stolen out of our safe plus a mobile phone.we were also fined 200 euro for things that were already broke when we got there.Also our room wasn`t cleaned for 3 days then got fined 40 euro for dirty towels.The shower was also broken and when we went to tell the manager on the 1st day about it ,it didnt get fixed and on the last day he tryd to fine us.So if u are thinking about coming to kavos then i wouldn`t advise you to come here because you will end up having no money.
