Just got back from 2 weeks at this hotel all inclusive ( so called 5 star ),from the moment of arrival at the reception to leaving both myself and my wife were left with a bitter taste of regret. Regret that we had gone there, upon arrival the bell man shouted and slammed the door shut, why? because I tendered english pound coins as a tip this at 5 am in the morning after a long day travelling.Had I insulted him by my action ?. The following days were to continue with this theme the bar staff were rude and abrupt, the management turned a blind eye,We dont feel that the English are made welcome at this hotel the same as other nationalities, the food on offer was very bland and only warmed, the entertainment was poor, overall this was the worst resort we had stayed in.Not sure that it might be us so I decided to ask questions of other english people staying, I was not suprised to hear that they all had uncanny similar views.Having travelled far and wide over many years this was without a doubt the worst resort hotel ever.We could not wait to leave. The only person working there with a big smile and a warm hello was the room maid. So come on if you are going to accept English holidayers at your hotel at least make a big effort and make them feel welcome, after all you had our very hard earned money,or maybe have a word with the room maid she did not have a problem maybe she could give you a few pointers,by the way we were in room 1622....

We have just came back off holiday less than a week ago and we absolutely loved it. We were very nervous of going after reading some of the reviews from last year and the fact that my husband was never keen on going to turkey after hearing bad stories added to the worry.
The hotel rooms were very clean and tidy and cleaned every day, and it was late in the afternoon so you never got disturbed if you wanted a lie in. On the night time when the entertainment etc had fininshed there was never any noise of people going back to their rooms. People were very repectful in that sense.
We have three children and were very worried about being split in opposite ends of the hotel as the maximum occupancy is three people, but we were next door to one another.
The hotel itself is massive it is situated over 5 floors but has lifts and escalators. it is def one of the best hotels that we have stayed in.
The food was very nice I am a very picky eater but always found something that i liked.
The only down side was that we could never get beds near the pool, they had always been reserved by people early in the morning, despite signs up every where not to do this. But we never let this spoil our holiday.
5 Out of the seven days we were there we got the litttle mini bus (Dolmus) into bodrum it only cost 10 YTL for the five of us which is approx £4. There was a magnificent marina loads of shops and bazaars, which is your chance of doing some haggling. my eldest son who is only 11yrs old haggled for a cap and got it half the price.
There is also a castle there which you can visit along the marina, which if you are into that sort of thing is well worth a look.
All in all it was a great holiday but there is more to resort than just the hotel there were people there who had never left the hotel all week because they were all inclusive.
There are lots of restuarants in the centre, there is even a mcdonalds. If you do venture into the town you must try a kebab they are amazing not like the processed crap you get here.
If you want a great hol then the Kervansaray is the place to go.

After having been back nearly 2 weeks from this resort I want to go back. The resort is just fantastic. I went with a friend and her daughter (who is 5) and we all absolutely loved it. The hotel is great and all the staff were absolutely fantastic and very friendly.
You can never be bored at this place as the animation team are around most of the day and night with pool games to play, mini golf, darts, aerobics etc and shows to watch in the evening. They aren't pushy and if you don't want to join in they don't mither you.
There was a mixed range of people there ranging from couples, groups of girls, groups of lads, families so it caters for everyone and if you want a night out in Bodrum its not that far away.
The food was also very good and there was plenty of choice.
Although there weren't many other English people whilst we were there it didn't affect us in the slightest. It tended to be mostly Belgians but most seemed to speak very good English and were really friendly and of course the staff and animation team all speak English too. We made some very good friends out there who we have kept in touch with since we've been back.
All in all I can't fault the place and would definitely recommend it.

Hotel Kervansaray in Torba – bodrum is an absolute brilliant place.
We have just got home after a lovely week there and I wish I were still there.
The staff are very friendly and helpful; the Animation Team are amazing, absolutely hilarious, but very professional. There is a kids club, and pool entertainment in the daytime, a kid’s Disco 8:30pm and a show or competition every night at 10:00pm. The Shows were my favourite, I’ve never laughed so much the humour is centred towards adults but still being very funny for the children to watch. The Animation manager and team are very talented and I’ve never heard people speak so many different languages. I give the Animation team 10/10, the hotel 9/10 the rooms 7/10 this is because they are slightly basic, but immaculately clean, new towels every day. Food 7/10 there is enough for everyone and plenty to choose from and you don’t have to queue, but I give it 7/10 because children could do with there own little section with kids stuff like fish fingers, chicken nuggets beans etc as there is not always much choice for them especially if you have a child who doesn’t like food in sauces etc. The snack bar between 12 – 5 has burgers, chips, hotdogs, cheese toasties, jacket potatoes, pizza, spaghetti bolognaise and salad. The beer served is Tuborg that my partner wasn’t fussed about, as he prefers the Efes, but on a whole the place is Brill, and we will be definitely going back in the near future.

just came back from a wonderful week at Kervansaray. Couldnt fault the hotel at all....the selection an quality of food was excellent. Hotel was always spotlessly clean, staff couldnt have been more helpful. Location was good, however you are somewhat restricted to the resort unless you pay 1.5euro or 2 TYL to get the local DOLMUS (mini bus) into bodrum. They run frequently and last Dolmus leaving Bodrum is 1am!
Wouldnt btoher taking your own towls as hotel provides bathroom towels in the room and on arrival you are given a beach towel card per person. You can then change your beach towels up daily at allocated times.
All drinks are free until midnight, after that the bars are still open but drinks will be charged to your room.
Wouldnt advise this resort if you have mobility problems as lots of hills and steps.

As a family of 10 people ranging from the ages of 4 to 74 on the 1st week and another 4 family members the 2nd week, we booked this holiday thinking it was a 5* hotel.
Oh what a disappointment, when we arrived checked in, we then had to get a buggy (ride from hell to our rooms.
My husband opened the curtains thinking he was going to step out onto a balcony no balcony or terrace cracked sink, floor tiles in bathroom all coming up shower screen broken this was much the same in all 4 rooms.
It was quite late but was told we could have the midnight buffet that’s if you like cabbage soup, oh well things could only get better... Oh no they didn’t. Food was disgusting, drinks were the same, packed around the two main pools like sardines.
The jetty beach was not too bad apart from the abusive other guests... Could never get booked into the al a carte restaurants the main buffet one a nightmare show cooking outside rest of the food inside..
Only 35-ish English guests and we made up 14 of them. The staff were rude and the most unhelpful people I have come across.
All of the above complained about while there only to be told this is the best hotel in Bodrum.
My reply - I’d hate to see the worst. This is poss. a bad 3*.

We spent two wonderful weeks with my family in Kervansaray. The food was wonderful; the staff was very helpful and friendly. We have already made plans to visit the hotel again next year.
Having a one year old baby we were not sure about going on holiday, but Kervansaray hotel really caters for all our needs. I would recommend anyone with kids to go and have a wonderful time in Kervansaray - Bodrum hotel.
There were transfers to the town centre every 2 hours. The rooms were very clean. Our baby really enjoyed it too. I cannot say how much we enjoyed it and will recommend anyone to go and try it for themselves. I cannot say anything negative about it.

Myself and a friend visited this resort at the beginning of may, and were a little worried about what we may find after reading many of the reviews. The resort was fantastic offering something for everyone. The entertainment staff were always around the pool area holding various games and activities during the day.
The main pool area was always full, but we preferred to stay around a smaller pool (near the entrance) as it had water slides and this pool was much quieter.
There was also a lift going down to the beach which was all decked with sun beds on and also a bar down there too!
The food was fantastic, which loads of choice everyday, it would be difficult for anyone to go hungry at this place!!
The staff were always polite and friendly and went out of their way to please you
The only down side to the resort was that the evening entertainment was not the best, and if your there for a 2 week holiday you will see the same thing twice.
The is a small shop within the hotel on the ground floor which is quite expensive so if you want inflatables i would take them with you or go to Bodrum (the hotel offers a free bus service)
Taxis were also cheap and always available if you fancy a night out in Bodrum(6 person taxi was 40TL).
The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day.
There were safes in every room which were free to use.
