Hotel grudgingly allowed a 1 night only stay on Sat night, at very late twin room rate of £80 BB.
Beds comfortable and rooms spotless. Rooms dark, hot and quite shabby. Bathrooms very outdated; over bath shower ancient.
Lounge and restaurant nicely decorated with period features.
Breakfast very good, lots of choice and as much as you wanted. Service very slow though.
Dinner in hotel ok, though we did get a free bottle of decent house wine per room as an incentive.
Location very central, next to station and 5 mins walk into centre of Bath.
Overall, wouldn’t use hotel again due to poor quality of rooms.
