It is situated on a hill of Bodrum and you are only 5-10mins walk into the centre of town. Unfortunately our room was closer to a nightclub/karaoke bar which was open until 3am, not good if you are light sleeper. Also there are alot of stairs throughout the complex so if you have difficulty walking or are disabled then this is not the place for you.
The hotel is very basic, and there has to be more attention to detail! However, in saying that, you do receive clean towels everyday and during our stay, of 8 days, the bed linen was changed twice! You don’t get that in some higher rated hotels. In saying that you are not going on holiday to spend all the time in your hotel room.
The staff are brilliant, very friendly and they will assist you as much as possible, if they can. I do feel for them as most are from outside Bodrum, and when we were there they had worked the 7months season without a day off, but kept going. The food is excellent, and every morning there was fresh bread, and other treats. The dinners were also good with freshly prepared salads, which you could have made a meal of by themselves, and a barbecue/grill on the restaurant terrace, which differed every night. You also saw the owner quite alot and he was also very friendly and assisted you with anything he could.
Would certainly consider returning to the Bantur Naz at the same time next year as it was quiet (well except at night) and relaxing.

I have just returned from the bantur naz and I am glad I am home, what a big letdown. Me and my girlfriend were staying for 1 week all inclusive and it wasn’t worth a penny. As soon as we arrived we were given a room which I wouldn’t even keep a dog in. So I asked at reception to be moved straight away but I was told to wait for our rep.
The rep didn’t get there til 12 so I was waiting in reception for 5 hours with 2 other couples who like me were not happy. Finally when the rep got there it took her another 2 hours to find us a suitable room so our first full day was ruined.
The food was very basic but I wouldn’t advise anyone to take kids with them because the evening meal was rubbish and we had to eat out every night (McDonalds) which cost us a lot. Everybody in the hotel was complaining either about the food or about the rooms and if you are ever thinking about using goldtrail as your tour operator then don’t because they were terrible, you can’t get hold of the reps and when you do they are totally useless, overall the bantur naz is a terrible hotel and goldtrail are useless tour operators.

Hotel was very well situated and looked very nice. Rooms were rather old fashioned and compact but clean and tidy. no English speaking television channels. very much geared to the French in all aspects, there were not enough Brits (only eight of us)the week we were there. drinks were of a good quality and the food was very enjoyable although rather limited in choice. lunch was a la cart and cooked fresh and included chips with everything. the 2 swimming pools were lovely and clean. Was a bit noisy through the night due to over-loud French people and new arrivals. would probably stay there again.
