Submitted By: hungryheartWe went self catering, and got a three roomed apartment with large separate living/kitchen area, bathroom, and bedroom. It was well equipped with plenty of storage space, two balconies, air con, and all needed kitchen equipment supplied .
Maid service was daily with regular changes of sheets and towels. She was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel pool was good size with plenty sunbeds. Rooms in blocks set in a lovely garden.
The hotel staff were excellent, all spoke English, and couldn't do enough for you.
Food was good with theme nights. Well stocked and late opening bar.
Two minutes walk from the centre of the resort. Shop at the two large supermarkets or fresh produce from the nearby local market on Monday.
Many shops nearby. Loads of bars and nightlife. Fantastic choice of restaurants to dine in, and we never had a bad meal anywhere here.
Go on the boat trips for a relaxing day out. Visit the countryside on a jeep safari. Haggle at the markets where leather and clothing bargains can still be had.
We would definitely stay at his hotel again sometime in the near future as we had a wonderful two week here and didn't want to come home again !

Submitted By: Mrs HEIDI HARRISONWe never had to see the rep once,so that gives you a good idea how BRILLIANT this hotel is.There is a go karting track opposite(used to be the football pitch) but you only hear the odd occasional screech from the tyres, nothing to raise concerns about.
Hisaronu itself speaks for itself. We have been going there for the last 8 years and have tried many hotels.Saray is ONE OF THE BEST!!!It is less than 5 mins from the actual main part of the village and far away from all the bars etc etc.
Best places to eat in Hisaronu are THE ENGLISH RESTAURANT (owned by Billy from Hull),and the SUNSET RESTAURANT opposite the Butterfly Restaurant.
Trips/excursions do NOT buy from holiday rep,get them outside-much much cheaper.
Turkish Lira VERY VERY bad value this year which mad everything so very expensive.Eating and drinking the main issue, prices very similiar to home, not like the good ole days when the Lira was VALUE FOR MONEY.Be warned....this holiday was not 'cheaper than shoplifting' to coin an old Turkish phrase.VERY VERY EXPENSIVE.
Go to the market by the post office on a Monday....try to barter...it pays off in the end. Also,go on the Jeep Safari..one long day of getting absolutely SOAKED with day long water fights and fabulous sightseeing.Take a bag of sweets with you as there are loads of kiddies that wave to you at the side of the roads.....this is expected now PLUS they do not get much in those remote villages.
Last but not least(if you are still with me) GO STAY AT THE SARAY,BEAUTIFUL,CLEAN,DIARRHOEA FREE HOTEL and a beautiful cat with her ever playful kitten and Hector the golden labrador will warm the hearts of every animal lover.
10 out of 10 to this hotel......would definitely recommend and also stay in again.

Submitted By: Miss L ShaneThe pool area is great, its big enough and there were enough sunbeds so that you didn't have to wake up before the crack of dawn to put towels out. If you were to come out about 1 you would still easily get a sunbed.
The staff, excluding a few, were lovely. Very friendly and welcoming and also very helpful. One of the staff gets a bit 'too close for comfort' which, being 18 years old, got on my nerves a lot because he just doesn't leave you alone so watch out for him!
But..we love Ahmet!! Hes such a lovely guy and it's a shame that this is his last year! We even taught him some English :) (even though he speaks it well already, they all do)
The hotel is literally about 200m from the main road with all the restaurants, shops and bars. We'd recommend Bar Rumba!
Overall, a very good holiday!
