Just arrived back, stayed at the Saray hotel, maid service awful, breakfast poor, standard poor, music loud until 3am most nights, noisy, full of the thick gold chain people, Micheal was a good laugh and mustafa was a nice guy. Pet Dog tied up all day out side, if this is meant to be a good hotel then I suggest people start to explore a bit, Hisaronu is a complete dump, needs knocking down and starting again,a 2 star resort, why people rate this place I will never know. Turkey is a fantastic holiday destination, but not this place.
- Advice: dont bother its a dump
- Activities: very poor quality
- Good For: Beach

if this is a three star someones having a laugh . been to plenty of hotels around the world and this rates as one of the worst . no such thing as a quiet room unless you're deaf or like lady gaga at 2 in the morning . poor laundry ,poor breakfast , poor service , unsavoury clientle [ you know who you are ] ,smelly rooms , no hot water ? not that most of the guests made use of it anyway ,in general i would'nt go back to the saray if i won a holiday there , would give it to someone i hated. SARAY , JUST SAY NO !
- Advice: twinned with kavos/ malia/ san antonio etc

We went to the Saray for our 2nd Honeymoon! This was our 2nd time to Turkey and we absolutely love the place. First time at the Saray and i've got to say, what a place! Rooms nice, clean. Food nice, bar always open ha ha!! Staff were fantastic! The "VILLAGE IDIOT" Michael was really funny. The Full Monty night was such a scream!! Met some lovely friends there too. Best of all our friends bar Gengiz's was right across the street, you could see it from our room!! Ha ha Quality holiday. Would definately reccommend and me and my husband will be back there soon!! Must do out there is the Turkish Bath (at the beginning of the holiday, base for a fantastic tan) and Jeep Safari! Best Indian in Turkey is The Shine!!

A great hotel in an excellent central location. Ideal base for exploring the Hisaronu/Olu Deniz/Fethiye area.
We went self catering, and got a three roomed apartment with large separate living/kitchen area, bathroom, and bedroom. It was well equipped with plenty of storage space, two balconies, air con, and all needed kitchen equipment supplied .
Maid service was daily with regular changes of sheets and towels. She was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel pool was good size with plenty sunbeds. Rooms in blocks set in a lovely garden.
The hotel staff were excellent, all spoke English, and couldn't do enough for you.
Food was good with theme nights. Well stocked and late opening bar.
Two minutes walk from the centre of the resort. Shop at the two large supermarkets or fresh produce from the nearby local market on Monday.
Many shops nearby. Loads of bars and nightlife. Fantastic choice of restaurants to dine in, and we never had a bad meal anywhere here.
Go on the boat trips for a relaxing day out. Visit the countryside on a jeep safari. Haggle at the markets where leather and clothing bargains can still be had.
We would definitely stay at his hotel again sometime in the near future as we had a wonderful two week here and didn't want to come home again !

This was our first time in Turkey and found it really nice, the Saray Hotel was lovely, very clean and tidy and the maids worked really hard and kept your rooms clean, the room was very basic, but it was fine as we only slept in it and got washed and changed for the night time, we found James and Michael very helpful, and if it wasnt for them we wouldnt have known as much as we did about trips out and the area we were staying in, as the rep was a waste of time [didnt want to be bothered] we went on the jeep safari which is a must great day out, also the boat trip was cheap and really nice day, also the turkish bath was good, we went as two couples myself & my husband my sister & her husband & we have all said we would go back, the pool was big and plenty of sun loungers round the pool, food good, people lovely, Saray was great, we all look forward to going back again. Well done everyone at the Saray. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, gardens are abundant with fruit trees, wel maintained lawns and the maid service is 5*.Rooms are cleaned daily, linen is changed every three days and hotel room was yes, very basic but its only a place to 'put your head down and have a clean up' etc etc. This was our first stay at this hotel and we would DEFINITELY stay here again.James and Michael (the village idiot) make your stay even more enjoyable. They cannot do enough for you.Breakfast as continental as expected but a very good spread along with orange juice and coffee or tea.English breakfast can be purchased for 8 YTL (£4.00) or therabouts.Swimming pool a fair size and always clean.Evening meals at hotel i must say we only sampled once, very nice Turkish cuisine BUT expensive!!!! Be warned.
We never had to see the rep once,so that gives you a good idea how BRILLIANT this hotel is.There is a go karting track opposite(used to be the football pitch) but you only hear the odd occasional screech from the tyres, nothing to raise concerns about.
Hisaronu itself speaks for itself. We have been going there for the last 8 years and have tried many hotels.Saray is ONE OF THE BEST!!!It is less than 5 mins from the actual main part of the village and far away from all the bars etc etc.
Best places to eat in Hisaronu are THE ENGLISH RESTAURANT (owned by Billy from Hull),and the SUNSET RESTAURANT opposite the Butterfly Restaurant.
Trips/excursions do NOT buy from holiday rep,get them outside-much much cheaper.
Turkish Lira VERY VERY bad value this year which mad everything so very expensive.Eating and drinking the main issue, prices very similiar to home, not like the good ole days when the Lira was VALUE FOR MONEY.Be warned....this holiday was not 'cheaper than shoplifting' to coin an old Turkish phrase.VERY VERY EXPENSIVE.
Go to the market by the post office on a Monday....try to barter...it pays off in the end. Also,go on the Jeep Safari..one long day of getting absolutely SOAKED with day long water fights and fabulous sightseeing.Take a bag of sweets with you as there are loads of kiddies that wave to you at the side of the roads.....this is expected now PLUS they do not get much in those remote villages.
Last but not least(if you are still with me) GO STAY AT THE SARAY,BEAUTIFUL,CLEAN,DIARRHOEA FREE HOTEL and a beautiful cat with her ever playful kitten and Hector the golden labrador will warm the hearts of every animal lover.
10 out of 10 to this hotel......would definitely recommend and also stay in again.

Just got back from the Saray Hotel. Had a lovely stay. The rooms we're only okay though. The showers are quite small but they do the job, and they work. As there were three of us, we thought we were going to get three proper beds but instead, the third bed was a camp bed which was uncomfortable and made the room very small as it clearly wasn't meant to be there. However, the rooms were kept very clean with maids coming in every day and changing towels and sheets regularly.
The pool area is great, its big enough and there were enough sunbeds so that you didn't have to wake up before the crack of dawn to put towels out. If you were to come out about 1 you would still easily get a sunbed.
The staff, excluding a few, were lovely. Very friendly and welcoming and also very helpful. One of the staff gets a bit 'too close for comfort' which, being 18 years old, got on my nerves a lot because he just doesn't leave you alone so watch out for him!
But..we love Ahmet!! Hes such a lovely guy and it's a shame that this is his last year! We even taught him some English :) (even though he speaks it well already, they all do)
The hotel is literally about 200m from the main road with all the restaurants, shops and bars. We'd recommend Bar Rumba!
Overall, a very good holiday!

Saray is beautiful, The maids are first class they are friendly and very helpful. The staff are friendly but one in particular far to interested in the young girls so beware if you have 14+ year old daughters. If you want a sunlounger you need to get up at about 5 in the morning or do what everyone else did and put your towels out just after midnight awlfull. Its a shame as the saray is beautiful with a fab pool and garden settings, its clean and in a perfect location. They just need to note on the sunlounger issue, If they were to do this i would happily come back. We met a fantastic couple out there so it made staying worthwhile. We will be back to hisaronu again but unsure if saray will be our choice shame as this is simply due to the presure of getting a lounger, especially when like us you have small children and need the pool, there were always so so so many loungers taken and never anyone on them in the end. If you are not a pool lover then saray is perfect, it may just be down to who was there at the time. Just want to say big hi to Gary and Nicola xx sees you both real soon xx
