We have been going to Hisaronu for the last 9 years and stayed in Hisar twice. Have just booked to go back this July and stay at Hisar.... It is the best hotel we have stayed in, in Hisronu. The staff are excellent , very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable.
Situated in perfect spot, close to everything you need! Would recommend this hotel to all ages!!

this hotel is in a good position in hisaronu. we really enjoyed it apart from the amount of steps we had to climb daily just to reach the front of the hotel as four of our party were senior citizens.rooms were ok some better than others the family with the two youngest of our party had to have their room reallocated as they were given a window seat as a bed for the 2 year old but once this was sorted we really enjoyed our selves . we just thought that some of the staff could have been more helpful and friendly .we recommend bar friday as the friendliest of them all .around the pool was clean and fun
other places in hisaronu we used
oasis - for our meals even as one of our party had their 13th birthday party at the oasis which was great and even made the cake themselves
cheers-we used cheers for breakfast nearly everyday and the last night we used it for our evening meal
tango- we used this bar more than any other near where we were.sometimes to meet friends and sometimes to dance
the weather was hot hot hot

We have stayed at this hotel 6 times now,and it has always been great. Rooms are basic but clean, and comfy. Nice pool, and plenty of sunbeds. The restaurant food was excellent, and one of the few places where you can get nice Turkish food, very good quality and value, best around, although it was a shame that they now added the 'brit' bits to all meals. The restaurant manager is the most helpful person, and really went out of his way when we had our daughters 21st there. All the bars are good fun and good value, Sulo in the restaurant bar is amazing.really genuine, friendly and helpful, got us some fantastic excursion deals, but pay as you go in the Eski bar, although this bar is great fun especially for the young or lively revellers. THEN the last time we were there Alfie the DJ (Ollies sidekick, but really overly confident) was drunk and got really racist and attacked a really lovely, friendly young british boy. Management really disappointed every adult there, they completely backed this Alfie, and were very defensive and rude to the family or anyone who spoke out for them, ruined everyones holiday. SO don't bother trying to reason with management, if you have a grievrence. Shame because Hisar has it all, and this brings them right down in the ratings.

  • Advice: Restaurant bar staff are genuinely helpful, advising of best excursions, and best deals (Hisar's own agent I think)

Hotel is well situated and a good standard for the price , however the music was way too loud after 12:00AM and went on until 4-5 am with no consideration for residents of the hotel and apartments

Well we got there late at night and the the eski was mad booming! after a few mins u got a really bad head ache.
our family came as a 3 but there was only 2 beds so i had to sleep on the couch ( not comfy) room was nice normal what u expect sort of type. staff are so friendly. 1 THING THOUGH YOURE RIGHTS IN THE CENTRE ON TOWN. you dont have to walk far every thing is close by. the hotel owns 2 bars and 1 restraunt large swimming pool and plenty of sun beds small balcony but usefull to hang your towels over. if you are going i hope you have a pleasent stay at the resort

just got back on june 12th,what can i say,the rooms were imaculate had a small problem with the shower which was sorted out straight away.the pool very nice loads of sun beds, the pool/resturant bar was very nice food is excellent and very reasonable so are the drinks.the staff are some of the freindliest i have ever encountered, and i do like to think i am well travelled.at night if you do not want to go to far you can eat at the hotel and then go to the hotels eski bar[CAN GET A BIT TO LOUD]but it is great fun, of a night they have to close the doors so if you do fancy an early night the bar will not disturb you.the hotel could not be in a better location, and if the other bar gets to much for you they will keep the resturant bar open just for you.would i go back mmm in a heart beat.

Nice holiday but far too British

When I booked this trip, I had done quite alot of research into Hisaronu and the local food etc. Many people had rated the food as excellent in the local restaurants. We wanted to have a proper Turkish experience.
The Hisar holiday club was a lovely hotel for the money - in the end. We complained about our first apartment as it seemed to be above the laudary room which had machines going from 5:00 am until very late. After several complaints, we were moved to a lovely room by the pool.
Beware if you are going self-catering as there is a good fridge but only one pan to cook with and we did not have a kettle or a toaster until 7 days in as we complained everyday (even then the brand new toaster they got us blew up on first use!). However, we ended up eating out most of the time as the local supermarkets were very expensive.
Hisaronu is tailored for British tourists and don't be fooled by other reviews of the 'real Turkish experience'. All resturants serve chips with everything as 'the brits love it' and it is very hard to find real turkish food. The food quality was very poor for the money - all restaurants serve burgars and chips and charge about £10 for a 3:00am style burger and chips.
If you want to see the real Turkey - do not go to Hisaronu or Olu Deniz as it really was like being in Blackpool! The prices for food are very pricey for the quality and many locals commented that 3 years ago, everything was a quarter of the price.
The hotel was nice and seemed to treat it's guests well but the resport as a whole was far too British. If you like healthy, good cooked food - this place is not for you!

Fantastic Hotel, poor management
5 / 10

This hotel was fantastic until when we arrived we were told that the hotel was double booked and had to move to another hotel.
The manager was very grumpy and raised his voice on several occations, Cuneyt.
The staff of hisar hotel are all really nice genuine people, we have been coming to this hotel for 3 years now, it was good to see good old DJ OLLY with his usual good music filling up the Eski bar as always! Also the staff were alot of fun in the bar.
We would go back to this hotel only if we were guarenteed no lies from the manager.
