OKay, where do I begin.....
Originally, we booked our wedding at The Atlantis, but we got a much cheaper rate at the Wyndham. Well, I hate to say it just like all mom’s say “You get what you pay for.” From the beginning to the end, it was the hardest job trying to communicate with them to plan the wedding. Their so-called “wedding consultants” were not helpful in accommodating our needs and we ended up using their out-sourced consultants (florist, bakery, dj), which were horrible! We paid for different services for the wedding that never took place and they added on extra fees that weren’t explained in the beginning. The electricity went out as soon as we got there and was out for 2 hours. We were hungry and all of our guest for the wedding were hot! We were so embarrassed. If I could do it all over again, Atlantis would definitely have my money! We had 60 people at our wedding so I’m not sure if they are not used to working with that size of a wedding but it was truly the worst service I’ve ever had and I a total waste of money. To any bride and groom please think twice, triple-twice before deciding to make your memories here!

Beside the friendly staff, this place does not deserve a rating. We arrived for our one night stay to a half hour check in queue. When we eventually went to our room we found the bed and bedroom floor covered in ants, if this was not bad enough, the reaction of the receptionist told us everything we needed to know. He didn’t even act surprised as if this was an everyday occurrence. When we moved to our new room it was only slightly improved, the bathroom was filthy, the bed wet with the air conditioning, the view of the workmen working on an extension.
I’m glad we only spent one night here and I would never send my worst enemy to this place.

A good location and hotel overall with various places to eat. Food and restaurants within the hotel are expensive but there are cheaper alternatives within walking distance (within other hotels and independent restaurants).
The rooms are of a good size with good facilities with the added benefit of a fridge, very useful. One downside being there is very limited sun after 4pm due to the hotel structure.
The gym is also a good added bonus. Right on Cable Beach with the buses running from 6am to 6pm into downtown Nassau and up to Sandyport. Taxi's are an expensive alternative but essential for after dark if venturing away from Cable Beach. This was our 3rd trip to the Bahamas and it just keeps getting better each time.

Just returned from Wyndham and was totally disappointed. I know that it is scheduled for demolition but the staff and especially the Royal Holiday people were obnoxious. The staff in the sundry shop barely looked at you when you were paying for your purchase. They looked bored and definitely uninterested in customer service.
Listened to the Royal Holiday sales pitch because we had never heard of a "points system" vs time share. When we scheduled an "end time" they started to apply more pressure. We left for our apointment and then came back to finish. Then we brought up the fact that they were increasing their sales pressure and we would not be signing anything that day. They spent five or ten minutes telling us how we were wrong. We left without our prmised incentives (excursion voucher etc) and a bitter taste in our mouths for the Royal Holiday organization and for the Wyndham organization.
