Just returned from fortnights holiday, our 2nd to these apartments in 3 years and must say I am surprised about previous 2 reviews. I found the apartments very clean to the point were I wanted to tell the cleaner to please go away. As a mother of 2 children I wouldn't expect to leave my kids mess around the apartment or to expect someone to make my bed or the kids for that matter.
On the downside the prices in the complex were on the high side and the entertainment provided in the evening was for the most part poor though they did have a hypnotist, a Billy Connelly type comedian and a mental magician appearing on three of the nights which provided good crack.
My kids are too old for the kids club but the guy Ramon was marvellous with the kids that went and they all adored him.
This is great complex for families and I will most likely return if not next year then the following.
Tip: For food/drink shop, ask directions to Eroski centre (About 10 mins walk away) and try Rheins restaurant for tasty meal about 150 mtres up from Kellys corner on the right hand side as you are walking away from main centre.

Just returned home from Jutlandia Apartments. I have stayed at these apartments 5 times over the past 7 years. I believe it has been taken over and I was very dissapointed in deed. The rooms were not cleaned properly, all they did was change beds and leave clean towels. It was not clean on arrival and as the week went on the room was worse. We had to brush and mop the floors everyday. They only came into the room every other day to make the beds. The food and drink wasn't nice or even warm and the drinks were flat. The prices were very high and you even have to pay for the umbrellas round the pool. The children's play area was full of buckets and spades what people had left but no one bothered to move them. The entertainment was the only good point about the holiday. I even saw a cockroach on the last night which was on the stairs. I left the questionare with the reception and told them how dissapointed I was with the apartments and that I would not return if things didn't change so fingers crossed it will so other people have a nice time.

Pretty much booking my holidays on the reviews of the Jutlandia I have to say I was very disappointed.Regarding the cleanliness there were plenty of cleaners around but I failed to see apart from the very basics what they were doing every day.The `entertainment` was very average but maybe that was just my taste, bingo constantly for gods sake. There were leaflets on the front desk regarding reserving the sunbeds which was saying not before 9 oclock but we were up at 7 every morning to get a bed.But what I wasnt impressed with were the sunbeds themselves which only had one position (horizontal )and as an avid reader this was awkward. So back to the rooms themselves the smallest I HAVE EVER STAYED IN,with no radio or(not that bothererd)no television. Finally on the up side it was in a reasonably good position for the beach and restaurants but we will not be returnig next year.

We (me, husband and 2 year old son) have just returned from a week at the Jutlandia Apartments in Santa Ponsa. We had a fabulous time here. The apartments are extremely clean and the maid service was excellent. The apartments are also very well equiped - with a microwave, toaster, kettle etc. The pool is lovely, big and clean and there are plenty of sunbeds available. There is a childrens play area and also a football court. There are daytime and evening activities/entertainment for the kids and the entertainer is excellent - all the kids loved him. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We found the complex very safe and were sad to come home. We will definetely be going back to Jutlandia in the near future.

Me, My Partner and our 2 year old daughter stayed at the Jutlandia apartments for a week in September 07. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here we would recommend these apartments to anybody. It is in a nice area of Santa Ponsa it is a 5 minute walk from the beach and restaurants. The apartments themselves are basic but are really clean and the service at the apartments is excellent. The Pool area is really nice and there is a childrens play area. The staff are very friendly and there is entertainment going on throughout the day. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are going back for another week in May 08.

Just got back from a week at Jutlandia, and we would definitely go back again.
The pools are really nice and very clean and plenty of sunloungers. There's a little play area for the little ones. There's always something to do if you don't want to leave the complex. The entertainment was really good day and night this was due to Chris but he's leaving at the end of the season, I think they'll struggle to replace him.
The rooms are basic but very clean the only downside about the rooms is that the walls are very thin, and can be quite annoying when you have some rude ignorant people next door who are either at it all night or arguing till the early hours.
It’s a 5 minute walk to the centre and the beach where you'll find some great little bars and restaurants. I would recommend Crocodillos the BBQ ribs are lovely and next door is Miguel’s which does a great seafood paella.
We went to the Italian on the same road when it was quiet but weren't even approached to order drinks so after waiting 15 minutes we walked out, I suppose some people just don't want your money!

This was our second year on the trot to Jutlandia and it was just as good the second year as the first, if not better! The rooms are quite compact but very comfortable and you get clean towels every day, the maid comes in which is 5 days a week. The pool area could be kept cleaner but that is only a minor criticism.
The staff there are lovely and very good with the kids, especially Jose and Blas and Xisco the bar manager. Angelo, the life guard was great and had a wicked sense of humour! Chris the entertainer is just fantastic with kids and adults alike and you will definitely get the most out of your holiday if you join in with the activities. The evening entertainment was the best we have had at any of the resorts we have been to in Majorca.
Santa Ponsa is a great resort with plenty of places to eat; we loved Crocodillos and also Portofinos.
Would definitely go back to Jutlandia as it is so lovely there and Chris helped to make our holiday very memorable.

I have just returned from a 2 week holiday at Jutlandia apartments and will not be returning. The apartments themselves were clean with towels changed daily and beds twice a week. The pool is cleaned daily with plenty of sun beds for all. The apartments and resort is mainly Irish, this was fine as the Irish are lovely people.
However if you are English not one member of the Jutlandia staff has any time for you. They are pleasant to all Irish holiday makers but miserable as sin with the English. The First Chioce rep was Irish and not very helpful, to the point I booked trips with the Airtours rep. She also was swearing at reception staff in front of small children!!
Most of the cleaners ignored us when entering our room, waitresses were miserable. On our first day it rained and I asked the waitress if it was supposed to rain all day, she replied with a very sharp attitude that she didn't check the weather she just dealt with it then walked off.
The grounds are full of punctured and disregarded inflatables which makes the place always look untidy.
We had a good holiday but no thanks to the staff at Jutlandia!!!!

The Jutlandia Appartments were a great choice. I went with my dad, my mum, my brother, my aunt, my uncle, and my cousin.
Jutlandia is a very small lot, but it has everything you'll need for a week or two in Mallorca. With a shop near by and the beach just a five minute walk away, it has everything.
The pool was very big, and clean, with plenty of sun-beds (: . The hotel itself was very clean, and had a lovely friendly atmosphere. Because Jutlandia was so small, we soon got to know other familys.
The entertainment was very impressive, with pool-side shows in the day, and mini-disco's and shows in the evening. The children were always off doing something, wheather it was archry, swimming, games, water polo, football etc..
The hotel itself didnt have a resturant, but there were plenty of lovely Resturants near by, on the sea-frount (5-10 minute walk away). I would recomend "Bobby's", "Kellys on the corner", and "Crocodillos".
Oh I Almost forgot about "Chris", He made the holiday, and was a very friendly entertainer. The best around (:
Were definetly going back again soon (: .

hotel rooms are clean but rather basic although this didn't matter to us as we intended to eat out on a regular basis. The pool at the hotel is really good, the kids spent most of the day playing about as there are a number of different sections plus a kids pool which is nice and safe. The beach is at the most a 5 min stroll down hill, the beach is clean the sea is lovely and clear - nice and warm while we was there. As mentioned we eat out nearly every day/night, we found the best places for breakfast to be just up the road from the beach, a good place called Bobby's - good value, good food, very clean and a friendly welcome, they also done a good mixture of evening meals which we enjoyed, they have a good kids menu here also (not just nuggets and chips!!). Looking forward to returning to Santa Ponsa in 2008.

This was our second time staying at the Jutlandia. The first time was in 2000. This time we were slightly disappointed, the whole place needs a decor freshen up, the same patterned bed spreads and curtains have been in use for years.
Our bathroom was mouldy and the kitchen facilities left a lot to be desired. Otherwise it offers a good base for a family holiday. The staff are reasonably friendly and the kid’s entertainer Chris was great.
Their menu could do with a little help. It is situated just far enough away from the noise of the centre so you can always get good nights (unless you have noisy neighbours - paper thin walls). When we were there the first time it seemed to be Spanish owned and staffed, and it was great, but it seems to have new owners and they really need to be careful as the quality of the place seems to have downhill.

We have just come back from an amazing holiday in the Jutlandia apartments. I have nothing to complain about. The service was brilliant and the place itself was very clean. Pools were cleaned out every morning and opened at 9:00 am and closed at 8:00pm.
The food in the Jutlandia was great and I would like to recommend two georgous restaurants first Crocodillos and second Kellys restaurant the food was great and the service was also great.
The beach and restaurants were at the most 3-4 mins walk away from the Jutlandia. I would recommend Santa Ponsa and Jutlandia to anyone and everyone. Oh and I almost forgot Chris the entertainer was great he put a kiddies disco on every night and a show for everyone. During the day children were always occupied with games, painting, games in the pool and pottery, well I think that's it.

This is a very good resort for families with children. The apartments were lovely and clean, staff very friendly and helpful! Children's pool great for small children.
Entertainment with Chris was excellent, he makes a real effort to include all the children in the day and evening entertainment.
Good location very near beach and main strip of Santa Ponsa yet still not in centre so remains peaceful at night. Can't wait to go back.
Food in restaurant not that greatest and no locks on windows in apartment if you are on ground floor with young child this may worry you!

Just come back from this hotel, there was everything you needed in your rooms, lovely and clean.
Management go out of their way to make sure your happy. There was enough sun beds for every one with life guards at the pool which were quite friendly.
Chris the entertainer kept the kids amused day and night, he was fantastic.
Chimes is well worth a visit to meet Sharon and terry and the brilliant home cooked food. Scots corner made you very welcome and Crocodiles, the food and service was excellent.
My overall holiday was 10/10, can’t wait to go back.
