I just returned from santa ponsa and we stayed here for the week.Apartment was great and on level ground, very accessible.Only downside was the food.They should have an evening restaurant menu but we had to eat out every night.I recommend harleem and d'amigos for eating.The girls at reception were very helpful and had good english.The night security guard was very ignorant...

i have just returned from the jutlandia apt in santa ponsa!! and it was FANTASTIC the staff were amazing behind the bar you have elaine who would do anything for you and as for the entertainer adele WOW she is a fruit loop but gr8 at her job put her together with shaun the falcon/first choice rep we had a right laff!!! they looked after us to no end!!! and as for loacation it was mins away from the beach and the strip and the cleaners they are amazing the hotel was kept clean 24/7 always somebody on hand to help if anybody needed it! i would highly recomend these apts for couples and familys!!!! 20 out of 10!!!!!!!

Have just returned from a week in Santa Ponsa, staying at the Jutlandia Apartments. I have to say, this was probably the best holiday I've ever spent. The apartments were clean, central to most things (5 minute slow walk into the main part of Santa Ponsa), and I can't really fault anything about the place. The only thing I could gripe about if I felt the urge (and I don't!) was the price of things in the hotel (drinks, internet access, etc.). Other than that, I was incredibly impressed. It was very clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the pool was wonderful, the weather was gorgeous, and all in all it was a great holiday. I'll definately be going back there!

The apartments are rated 3 star, i believe they should be at least 4 star due to the hygiene and faclities in the apartments. The shower is powerfull and the bath tub is a good size modern and clean. With free soap, needle and cotton and other eseintals you cant moan. Good sized balconly surrounding the beautiful, clean, fun swimming pool, with fountain and waterfall. The apartments back on to a field and mountains in the distance.
Only short walk to beach, although it is downhill to beach (not recomended for elderly/disabled)
The beach is lovely there is a range of water sports avaible inc; scuba diving, jet skiing & water riders. There is also sunbeds & pedelos on beach.
The childrens entertainment was great, my sister bonded with adele (the entertainer) striaght away and was out of the apartment most of the time playing games and making models ect.
The adults entertainment in the night is ok, with shows, bingo, karoke and disco. We however made more use of the local nightclubs and pubs which are local and offer great deals on popular booze.
The hotel staff are very friendly speaking great english & many other languages. They have great local knowledge of the area and are always looking for ways to help you out.
The bar is open till' late, however the prices are expensive and no own food/drink is to be taken over. There is also a small arcade for children with internet facilites.
The place offers great weather which is omtimes too hot, the apartment are fully air conditioned and cool down quickly.
Only down side was the lifeguards, there was only one on at a time and he was often not paying attention and he takes many regualar breaks, so i suggest supervising children at all times. Otherwise the holiday was amazing
we are looking to go back very soon.

We went here with our children and we had a absolutely fab time. The hotel is very nice and clean, close to every thing and Adele was soooo good with the kids. I would recommend this warmly to anyone with or without kids.

The Jutlandia apartments are a great place for kids. Ramone, the entertainer is brilliant with the kids and they all love him.The pools are superb and well kept.
The apartments are basic but clean and have everything that you need on this type of holiday. The beach is only a short distance away and shopping and nightlife not much further. It's very much a family orientated place and perhaps not suitable for those looking for a wild time.
Prices in the complex for food/drinks were more than you would expect but I understand the pricing policy is being reviewed for 2009. However, there are ample restaurants, bars and supermarkets close by so most people eat away from the complex at night anyway.

Just returned from fortnights holiday, our 2nd to these apartments in 3 years and must say I am surprised about previous 2 reviews. I found the apartments very clean to the point were I wanted to tell the cleaner to please go away. As a mother of 2 children I wouldn't expect to leave my kids mess around the apartment or to expect someone to make my bed or the kids for that matter.
On the downside the prices in the complex were on the high side and the entertainment provided in the evening was for the most part poor though they did have a hypnotist, a Billy Connelly type comedian and a mental magician appearing on three of the nights which provided good crack.
My kids are too old for the kids club but the guy Ramon was marvellous with the kids that went and they all adored him.
This is great complex for families and I will most likely return if not next year then the following.
Tip: For food/drink shop, ask directions to Eroski centre (About 10 mins walk away) and try Rheins restaurant for tasty meal about 150 mtres up from Kellys corner on the right hand side as you are walking away from main centre.

Just returned home from Jutlandia Apartments. I have stayed at these apartments 5 times over the past 7 years. I believe it has been taken over and I was very dissapointed in deed. The rooms were not cleaned properly, all they did was change beds and leave clean towels. It was not clean on arrival and as the week went on the room was worse. We had to brush and mop the floors everyday. They only came into the room every other day to make the beds. The food and drink wasn't nice or even warm and the drinks were flat. The prices were very high and you even have to pay for the umbrellas round the pool. The children's play area was full of buckets and spades what people had left but no one bothered to move them. The entertainment was the only good point about the holiday. I even saw a cockroach on the last night which was on the stairs. I left the questionare with the reception and told them how dissapointed I was with the apartments and that I would not return if things didn't change so fingers crossed it will so other people have a nice time.

Pretty much booking my holidays on the reviews of the Jutlandia I have to say I was very disappointed.Regarding the cleanliness there were plenty of cleaners around but I failed to see apart from the very basics what they were doing every day.The `entertainment` was very average but maybe that was just my taste,bingo constantly for gods sake.There were leaflets on the front desk regarding reserving the sunbeds which was saying not before 9 oclock but we were up at 7 every morning to get a bed.But what I wasnt impressed with were the sunbeds themselves which only had one position (horizontal )and as an avid reader this was awkward.So back to the rooms themselves the smallest I HAVE EVER STAYED IN,with no radio or(not that bothererd)no television.Finally on the up side it was in a reasonably good position for the beach and restaurants but we will not be returnig next year.

Just returned from santa ponsa had a great time apart from the weather rained most of the time so spent a lot of time in the complex , really clean and well equiped ,pools looked very inviting but was too cold to try the
The food was poor and very exspensive and lacks a childs menu
Staff were mainly good, bar service was very good ,nice people apart from the two older women the spanish lady was very abrupt and the english lady told us to go to a place called rickies were her husband was the chef ,it was crap just grease on a plate, try scotish corner , chimes ,crocadillos a must .
