Watch for a bed bug.
Nice place except one of our kids got bitten by a bed bug on the upper back around 10 times. The rest of the family was fine. The manager said they take this very seriously and would call the exterminator would search the room and treat if needed. Breakfast isn't included but kids eat free at the hotel restaurant on site.

We have contacted our pest control company, and we wanted to inform you that there was no evidence of bed bugs in your suite. We did on a procautionary scale place the suite in out of order status for a week and heat treated the room. Upon re-inspection we again saw no evidence of bed bugs however, for the safety of our guest we will always proceed on the side of caution. We accommodate many guests each evening, and we strive to make their stay a satisfying one. The principal goal of our hotel is to provide dependable service to all of our guests at reasonable prices, and with exceptional service. Please accept our sincere apology for falling short of your expectations. I want you to know that the comments and suggestions we receive from our guests are taken seriously. Great place to stay with family!
Property was undergoing renovations, but it appeared that they were nearly finished. Rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was courteous and informative. The hotel is in a great location, only minutes away from Disney. Would definitely recommend to friends & family!
Good hotel, lovely staff and wonderful warm swimming pool.
Not a resort but a good value hotel. Lovely staff and the pool is genuinely warm. Great for Disney but not so near Universal but we figured that was the case.
Watch for hidden fees
Overall the hotel was fine. The internet is super slow, the business center always had people in it and so others had to wait on some occasions up to half an hour. Upon checkout, I was hit with a hidden "resort fee" pf $8.99 per night plus tax for services like the use of the internet (like i said it was super slow) the business center ( which is always full) and an assortment of other services i didnt even use. What bothers me is that on check in no one mentioned this fee so i was quite surprised by it on check out. Aside from that the hotel itself was ok.

Based on your comments, I think that you may have stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort (also know as the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort) on State Road 535, which is a few miles away from us outside of Disney property. Here at the Holiday Inn in the Walt Disney World® Resort, we do not charge a resort fee and our free high speed internet has just recently been upgraded and now includes WIFI in all guest rooms. Also, we have free document printing at our front desk therefore the wait times at our business center are non-existing. Beware of Hidden Charges & Nasty Night Manager
I too booked this Hotel online through mouseplanet.com. I paid in full in advance for three nights of stay. My total charge included a $59.93 Tax Recovery/Service Fee. However, upon checking out and returning home and reviewing my bank statement online, I discovered that the Hotel had charged me an additional $28.59. Upon enquiring about the charge, I was told by a rude Manager whom told me that because I used a third party agent I was being charged $9.51 per night for parking, shutter service, and the safe in the room. I never used the safe in the room or the shuttler, so I guess I was charged for parking. The odd thing about this is I was never told about these charges during booking, at check in or at check out and I went by the front desk to ensure no charges had occured. My advice to guess is to read your registration card. The nasty manager named Keith glotted that information about the charges are there . I've noticed that others have been taken but I for one don't plan to take this lying down. Social networks like FaceBook is a great tool for spreading the word and I will beging tonight. Hidden fee!
I bid this hotel through priceline.com. I was charged an extra 57.18 dollars for my 3-night stay (two rooms) at this hotel ($9.53 per room per night including tax). The worst part is that I noticed the charge from my credit card report two days after I left there. No staff at the front even told me about this so-called "resort" fee when I checked in or during my stay. (Probably there are tiny words in the document I signed when I checked in, but the front guy, whose name is Antonio, didn't point out this extra charge.) I called back and they said they'll charge every room for this fee, no matter where you book them. Other unpleasant experiences at this hotel include, super-slow speed internet (only to the extent of opening webpages, don't even think about Youtube), old and shabby elevators and stairs (although they were renovating the outside walls during my stay there), hard-to-reach phone calls (I called five times before I could get someone to answer my question about the extra charge). The only good side of this hotel is its location. You can find a lot of restaurants around the area and it's only 10 minutes' drive to Disney World.

Resort? I don't think so...
I have no idea why this facility has the word "Resort" in it. You access the rooms from the outside and it has all the features of a regular "Motel". They offer "High Speed Wireless Internet". There the word "High" should be replaced by "Turtle". Worst Internet service. The rooms are clean and well maintained but "Resort", level? no way Jose. I checked out and surprise! I have to pay a $9.99 "Resort Fee" for parking, transportation to parks (which I did not use) and Internet (which I described before). I needed shaving cream, toothpaste and a razor... They just had toothpaste and a razor and I have to go pick it up myself. And not even free breakfast because, they said I booked through Priceline...
Decent value, but quite flawed
Positives: - Close to parks - Good cleaning staff - Inexpensive - No need for a car. Negatives: - Terrible WiFi - Mediocre response to repair/maintenance issues - Cab company partners are horrible -- almost made us miss our flight back - Park shuttle schedule rather limited and inconvenient. That aside, not bad: 2/5 just for referring us to incompetent cab service. Would recommend with caveats.

Good for the Price with one caveat.
As mentioned before the rooms are newly renovated(still smelled of fresh paint). Ongoing construction was no problem. I also saved by eating breakfast in the room as it had microwave, frig and coffee maker. I got the room by bidding for a great price on Priceline after researching what to bid on biddingfortravel.com and betterbidding.com and got an additional $10 a night off with entertainment card deal. The one caveat is the sneaky $8 a night "resort fee" which you get little for(free internet and useless for me transportation to Disney) but I figured this into the price ahead of time.
