Crowne Plaza Resorts Hotel Orlando

My husband, 11 year old son, and myself stayed at the Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel July/August 07.
We had a superb room with excellent air con, we never found the room to be either too hot or cold - just perfect. Everything worked, really appreciated the fridge and coffeemaker. Always plentiful supplies of bottled water, coffee, tea, etc. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. The fixtures and fittings were gleaming white.
The bathroom had no window, but was very bright with more than adequate lighting, plus a night-light. We had a fresh supply of soft white towels and facecloths every day, plus white towels to use by the pool.
I'd read in previous reviews about the comfortable beds, but wow - when you try them - they are just something else - haven't slept as well as that since I've come home!
The room was spacious with a nice view, a seating area, desk, and TV in a cabinet. Lighting was soft and relaxing, clock/radio, easy to use safe, etc all to make your stay comfortable. We found it very quiet and the blackout curtains allowed us to wake when we wanted - not that you want to sleep in, there is so much to see and do.
Along the corridor was an area for vending - drinks, crisps, chocolate, etc. and an ice machine. There was also a laundry room which was so cheap and very handy.
Overall we would highly recommend the hotel and after a long day/evening in the parks, it was lovely to come back to and relax. The food was slightly more expensive than in local restaurants, but that's to be expected. When we did use the restaurant, it was excellent. However, there are so many places to eat, you just have to go and try them all!
The holiday was the best ever and we can't wait to go back. There are still places we haven't seen. The parks are wonderful and so clean - you're really made to feel, as a guest should. Most of the food outlets on the parks are very reasonable, clean and serve very good food. We couldn't fault the holiday at all and can't wait to return.
