Crowne Plaza Hotel Orlando Airport

Considering the location, price, etc. this is a great place to stay. We have stayed at this hotel at least three times, and really think this hotel is a good deal. The rooms are a good size, they have a concierge level on weekdays that is really well done. The pool area is not large, but it is clean and well kept. The Resturant is not bad either, the food was well prepared. Spent 1 night here prior to a cruise. Nice hotel, great price. We booked a non-smoking, king room with a balcony overlooking the atrium. Only downfall of this was that there was a large gathering in the atrium until late at night and we could hear them talking and laughing occasionally. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, pay per view movies available. We didn't eat in the restaurant or bar, but they looked okay. I cannot tell you how excited I was to stay at this hotel. I mean, "Swingers Parties?!" When away on business, that would have been totally worth the week away from home to bear witness to. But alas, all the bad press meant that the only people who stay here now are some families, business people, and the airline industry folk. The staff was very nice. The teams booked the $92-a-night rooms for Disney's Soccer Showcase, sponsored by Disney Wide World of Sports, through the Internet from Anthony Travel. They said hotel management did not tell them about the swingers' party or try to keep the uninhibited adults away from their children. They complained to hotel management and to John Hollis, an off-duty Orlando police officer, asking if the swingers could be kept out of the hallways and lobby. He said neither the officer nor the hotel manager acted on his complaints.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza before a cruise last week. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thrifty is next door, which makes picking up and dropping off a car very easy. We booked through hotwire, and received a decent rate. If you have an early flight this is a great place. Romms are nice, beds are great, lots of pillows, not a resorty place, but centally located to Orlando if you plan to travel the area and want to avoid downtown. Pricey restaurant, but that's a given for Crown Plaza's. Staff was very friendly.

Stayed here last week before going on a cruise . The reception staff were excellent and very friendly . The room was one of the best I have ever stayed in . However , the dining room staff left a lot to be desired . The one staff member in particular always treated us as if we were an interruption and a bother to her e.g when having breakfast cereal and we needed a spoon , she seemed to be surprised that we wanted a spoon in the first place , and then tutted when she had to get one for us . We were booked into the Crowne Plaza by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The Hotel courtesy van picked us up at the airport, and it was a short ride to the hotel. The check-in was smooth, but we weren't offered bell service once inside the hotel. The lobby and public facilities were clean and adequate. Overall the hotel was good, but there were a few exceptions. One major problem I had was with the bell service staff. When I arrived, I checked in and asked for a bellman, which the front desk lady told me that it would be a few minutes because they were a little backed up. Not a big deal to me, so I waited and after 15 minutes I went and asked if I could just get a cart, which the front desk staff member was happy to oblige me with. This was a great place to stay before my early morning flight. I won it on Priceline for $50 (+ tax & svc. chg.). The room overlooked the restaurant/bar and the beds appeared new. There was a slight odor in the room, but went away after adjusting the thermostat. The shuttle was convenient and I arrived at the airport quickly. Front desk was very helpful!! I would definitely stay there again!!!
