love love marmaris , but sundream is no dream it was hell, lights dont work hassel to eat in there every nite , showers not working ,peolpe complained every single nite nigtmare

OMG hassel hassel hassel, if you want 2 chill with your family or friends go some where else. constantly trying to get you to book this, buy that,eat here, my head was buzzing(not in a good way)

this hotel isnt as bad people make, it is cheap, and you get what you pay for, a basic room which may not be the most fancy but your never in there anyways as there is so much to do and different entertainment every night. the entire staff at the hotel and awesome fair play to them, they are funny and so helpful and do you great deals for meals most nights, they talk to you as much as you like them to seriously outstanding all of them all kind of levels of banter they all speak a good amount of english and really do go out of their way to help you with everything and the boss is there everyday and he personaly talks to everyone and is an awesome guy too, also the photographer mehmet is awesome, a legend his photos are amazing quality and at a fair price, he is clearly head over heels for his fiance, if she reads this she need to hurry up and marry him and have lots of babies, he is one hell of a catch ;) anyways stay in this hotel the sunbeds and pools are brilliant the drinks and meals are lovely and a fair price and as long as you are up for a laugh and dont strop about everything under the sun you'll have an awesome time. much love to you guys if you read this we miss you already, ryan & katie xx

just returned from sun dream august last year it is basic but clean n tidy dunt listen to the reviews on here there talkin rubbish staff brill pool lovely food waz good will def return daz castleford and family great fun here

I stayed at these apartments last august with my friend the holiday overall was a good one but only because of the staff at the bar and pool. Our room was dirty and i had to clean it myself as the staff at the reception didnt speak much english and was about 15. Our room was cleaned 3 times in the week we were there but she only mopped the floor changed the bins and sheets. We also book a late check out that was paid before we went but i was told we hadent as the boy didnt speak english a dont think he knew what a was saying. If it wasnt for the bar staff this holiday would have been a nightmare the bar staff were freindly and alway willing to help with anything getting people up to dance e.c.t. So thanx barstaff you made my holiday. OH and i must say dont book with a tour operator they charge soooooo much more i payed £390 for 1 week and i didnt see my rep once.

We went with a party of three. The rooms were appalling. Human excrement was smeared on the walls. Used condoms were under one of the beds which was filthy. The sheets were not changed and the matress was stained with blood. One pillow served for two people. We tookd one look and left the hotel. The holiday rep was absolutely useless and disaappeared immediately we arrived. We are now in the process of issuing proceedings against Thomas Cook. Sun Dream Apartments are absolutely disgusting ans I would not keep a dog there.

On the whole the apartments are clean snd comfortable, and if you have stayed in Turkey before the 2 star rating is no different, 'basic' with no frills.
We were a party of 4...two couples of mixed ages from 30 -55.The resort as a whole is extremely lively and expect loud music until midnight when they have to reduce the noise.
Hotel bar/resturant staff were friendly, despite the long hours they work. Food at the apartments was lovely, drinks are very expensive here and can be confusing 'buy one get one free' sounds good but you cant mix and match and they are double the price so are not 'bogof'
Biggest problem at the apartments were same sex groups, there was no control over them..coming in early hoursof the morning, running up and down the corridors, scraming and shouting.Our nieghbours would bring 'guests' back and start partying at 4am onwards, hanging over the balconies shouting.
After 3 nights of limited sleep we reprted this to the manager who said he would talk to these people...he didn't. We couldnt contact our rep...he was invisible.In the end we paid for air con, kept doors and windows shut to eliminate some of the noise.
We would never come back....shame really as on the whole we had a grteat time; it wasnt relaxing and have come home knackered.
Shame about the young groups staying here with no consideration for other...otherwis not too bad.

My family and i have just returned from sun dream apartments,my husband, me and our four children aged 12,16,18 and 21 and would definatelyNOT recommend them to anyone.In brief,we were not allocated our proper rooms when we arrived these were finally sorted the next day after midday.The water never got warm let alone hot,the electrics sparked and made noises, There is no lift.The sheets had cigarette burns in, the mattresses were stained and frayed, light sockets were bare and dangerously exposed.The rooms were not cleaned regularly or efficiently.Bed settees were broken and screws left poking out.The manager did not care and only showed a bit of willing when our rep had words but this still didnt get anything rectified. Fortunately the guys in the bar area and restaurant and poolside were very helpful respectful(we have three girls)and very friendly as were the majority of all the locals .The area is nice and boat trips and restaurants with their nightly entertainment very good value for money.We would visit Turkey and Marmaris again JUST NOT SUN DREAM APARTMENTS

although the apartments and the hotel itself need renewing abit...the staff and atmosphere was amazing very lively both day and night, and the food was gorgous, its just a shame the owner cant spend a bit of his money on up dates on facilities like guest toilets and paintwork and hot water system etc... really enjoyed it reguardless ov these problems...we will be back. xxx
