Food Not Fit For Animals - Staff Rude - COCKROACHES -Lifts Stopped with us in it - water dripping down walls in my room with mould in bathroom. None of the fac as per web site No lounges or Entertainment at all- Down a dark road at least 20 min walk to beach. We as all-incl guests were treated as if we should not ask for drinks and very small glasses used to save costs. When we on our second day walked into the restra for our Evening meal saying no options again we were abrused and shouted at by staff. saw the manager not at all helpful. we have sent a complaint and await a reply

I rate this hotel with a number 2 purley for the fact that rooms were clean, bed sheets changed everyday and maid services everyday. Otherwise dont stay at this hotel ITS A DISGRACE rats roaming around the place like they own it, food disgusting. We ate out every night apart from two, one being the night we arrived this being enough to put us completly off for the rest of our stay, we tryed for a second time in desperation to find something as we were all inc and funds were running low this nite i ended up with bread and butter, on a plus side the drinks were not to bad and the ice cream was good! cheese and ham toasties good but by the time we realised you could have these itbwas almost time to go home nothing is made clear in this hotel. The pool was good but not clean at all. Cyprus is a lovley place and the weather is ace potaras main bit is about a 15min walk away a bit longer if you go by the promanard, although this is a lovley walk and takes you rite to fig tree bay beach by far one of the best beaches i have been to, we spent most days here. Also visit ayin nappa water park its brill. Please visit potaras but stay some where else brits.

Before you book your holiday take a moment in reading about our recent holiday. Rooms clean, bedding changed every day. Food is dreadful you just get away with breakfast if you are going all-inclusive be prepared to take a lot of money to eat out. There are no snacks for the kids. The food is inedible mainly down to seeing dead and live RATS. One day I saw the manager throwing stones at them. I feel sorry for you if you have already booked this hotel. Think twice about it I'm not the only brit trying to help you wasting your money in this hotel. All the brits on holiday are going to do the same when they arrive home. Cyprus is a lovely country all I'm doing is advising you to book another hotel.

We recently arrived home from staying at this hotel - The hotel was ok - Carpets on all floor were very dirty & the corridors are very gloomy & dark - Rooms were fine (dissapointed that the towels & beds were only changed every 3 days) We stayed on the 4th floor which was a nightmare - The lifts have a mind of their own & only 1 lift goes to the 4th floor which worked on & off throughout the 2 weeks stay. The pool area is nice & the staff were really lovely - At week 2 the pool was rather dirty and you couldnt see the bottom. Its not ideal for new swimmers as the pool is 2.5m deep. The food was ok in the moring and snacks were handy throughout the day - Me & my partner only ate in 4 nights out of the 14. I would only recommed this hotel if you have transport as the beach closest isnt really a beach & its a long walk in the sun to the main centre. Once into Protoras town centre which is a 5min drive it was amazing. We was at the beach nearly every day - The bars and resturants along the strip were great. We will definatley be returning to Cyprus but its highly unlikley that we will return to this hotel.

We have just returned from our holiday at the Paschalia Hotel our first impressions on arrival was that we had came to stay at a building site there was buiding work going on all around the area of the hotel. The hotel itself had a nice reception area but when we got out of the lift on our floor the carpets were dirty and stained. The rooms were basic and the room furniture was dated but on the good side they were clean. The pool is a good size but there were many complaints that it was not cleaned enough. We were told when booking the holiday that the hotel is in Protaris but it is more in Pernera than Protaris so is quite a walk into Protaris also when you leave the hotel there is a stretch of road that is unlit and quite dangerous to walk in the dark so there was a few people had purchased torches. The food at the hotel was alright some days but we often found the breakfast food not warm I dont think the staff were to bothered as the hotel is to be converted to apartments and will be closed from October.

We have just returned from a weeks stay and having read some of the negative comments from other reviews, I have to say I agree with some of the points i.e. beer not very nice, diet coke tasting of nothing, one or two ignorant bar staff who didn't seem to want to serve all inc guests and kids and the food being repetative (although there were a good selection of delicious meat dishes each evening). The older gentlemen bar staff in the evenings and the women bar staff were friendlier than some of the others. The older chef was very pleasant and very proud of his dishes. The pool however was really clean and lovely and warm, the room was cleaned each day by the maids to a good standard and because it's only a small hotel, most of the guests were very friendly and the restaurant and pool never seemed crowded. I would stay again, however I hear the Paschalia is due to close and be demolished at the end of August to make way for apartments!

this was our second stay at paschalia but will not stay there again. the food was great, drinks on all inclusive were not so great, beer was very gassy and soft drinks did not taste of anything. in my opinion the pool is definately the source of infection it is dirty with lots of bits floating around they do not clean it although was told by rep it was cleaned 3 times a day, which it wasnt. my daughter had an ear infection aswell as alot of other people. the entertainers at the hotel were great (kimberley and kristina ) and some staff were nice some were very moody. one thing about cyprus is that the weather is100%.

Great location and a superb swimming pool, but that’s all.
We stayed for two weeks in Aug, paying £1300 on a B&B basis (check for late deals as others guests paid far less). Having holidayed in Protaras in 2004 we thought we would try it again this year, albeit in a different hotel.
The Paschalia has long past its best; looking tired and grubby. We reported faults with our room when we arrived and although they we're signed off as being fixed, they never were; the worst being the Air Con, or lack of, which we reported broken more than once but to no avail. This proved a real 'man' (and wife) test when getting ready to go out and trying to sleep required lots of alchol.
The corridors are carpeted and heavily stained. We did see a hover but I don’t recall seeing or hearing a cleaner using it. The rooms are supposedly cleaned daily; although we actually resorted to sweeping our own room. Suffice to say that when the cleaner caught us doing so she was not impressed, I think!
Breakfast was bearable but bland, but made worse by the attitude of some (not all) of the staff who were abrupt and less than helpful.
Most of the brochures advertise lots of extras in your room: TV, radio, mini bar and safe. The TV and radio only broadcast Cypriot channels and the safe and mini bar are available for hire.
The hotel is graded as a 3 Star. Maybe it was, but not anymore.
Would I go back? Cyprus is great, not cheap, but great all the same and I would certainly recommend it. As for the hotel, NO.
Top tips:
• Get a small kettle for your room but hide when not in use. There is no 24hr service in the hotel.
• Recommended restaurants:
- Anatolias (10 min walk along main road towards town) – Superb food and wine and they treat you like a long lost relative, at no extra cost.
- The Red Indian (opposite side the road to the Anatolias) - Good food but the service was so slow you passed being hungry.
• If you need a hire car book it when you arrive, if indeed you need one at all! The bus service (bus stop -1 min walk from hotel), covers the local areas, including Ayia Napa. The odd excursion with your travel company works out far cheaper than a car. If you do book a hire car check the name of the rental company in Cyprus with your travel agent before departing: as an example we booked through First Choice Suncars before departure which is a franchise within Sixt Car rentals. This took a couple of hours to find out. (Neither the hotel or Olympic Rep had a clue)
• Avoid the scratch card touts, who, when you win, and you will, ask you to go with them to a local hotel, by taxi (which happens to be paid for) to collect your prize. You don’t have to have a degree in stupidity to work out the property and time share sales ploy.
• The currency in Cyprus is now the Euro. Prices appear to have been rounded up (and some) which means it is no longer cheap. Be aware that some prices are shown in Euro and Pound. This is the old Cypriot £ and can be miss leading if you think you are getting a good deal.

We have just returned from Paschalia and couldnt wait to get home. The Hotel itself is clean except for the carpets on the first floor which are filthy and the corridor constantly stinks of damp. The rooms are adequate. The towels were only changed 3 times during our two week stay. There are two lifts however one was not working for nearly the whole holiday and the other didnt always take you to where you wanted to go and with such a large hotel sometimes the wait for a lift was endless - not good when you have a buggy! The reception staff are brilliant however the bar staff are rude and mean spirited. We went all inclusive so that the children could get icecream and drinks whenever they wanted but the bar staff must think that you get your drinks for free as they are not happy about serving "all inclusive" residents quickly. In fact the children were largely ignored and when we questioned them as to why, one barman complained that they come up to the bar at least 15 times a day! There was one nice barman who was very chatty and helpful. The food was ok but sooo repetitive and we started to miss breakfast because we were losing the will to live! There was an influx of Greek Cypriots during our holiday and they get served first and they are rude and very noisy and obviously do not like the English. The beach by the hotel is not good and there is a sewer drain running into it! Sunshine.co.uk however were brilliant and would recommend them but the Paschalia is a definate no no!!

on arrival our flight was delayed which ment we had missed dinner at the hotel.snacks were available but only cheese or ham sandwhiches.
Staff were ok , not very talkative and sometimes quite rude.We upgraded from half board to all inclusive drinks a very expensive in cyprus .The only problem with upgrading is that you didint get branded drinks you got eg, paint stripper vodka. The food was ok towards the end of the holiday we got sick of it was more or less the same everyday, although the bbq was nice.
The hotel was basic and out dated , carpet through the corridoors and 70's decore.
Overall 6/10 the weather made up for it would not go back hotel it was in two resorts and a good 30 mins walk to both towns. In the town it was full of karaokee bars a bit chavey. It was like the programme Benidorm.

I went to this hotel with my wife for our honeymoon. We were pleasanly surprised to find a bottle of champaigne and fruit waiting for us in our room. The room size was perfect, the view from the balcony was beautiful. The hotel on a whole was very clean, and the staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff.
Outside the hotel there is also plenty to do, the main town centre is only a 10 minute walk away, and the beautiful profitis llias is only around 5 minutes walk away.
All in all the place was perfect, and we will be returning and using Paschalia again.

The worst hotel I have stayed at in 30 years, food disgusting, no facilities, not very clean, and bus trip needed into the main centre, the only good thing is the pool and the weather
