Me and my partner stayed at the malinda its was a brilliant holiday. Gale and Antonny were really nice and made you fill welcome it was nice to have their children there they keeped me entertainer defiantly want to come back next year and bring our new arrival with us.
I would not recommend this to lively people as it is a laid back and quiet area there is however lots to do but stick to kavos 18-25 lively bunch.
most people moan about bites but we never got bitten it depends on your blood lol
defiantly recommend the malinda 10/10.

Just returned from another 2 week stay at the Melinda and i cant praise them highly enough, the family (Gayle,Adonny,George and kids) are fun to be with and cant help you enough. The rooms/pool are lovely and help make a relaxing holiday

We have just returned from out holiday at the Melinda apartments, as other reviews say the family we lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Most guests returned year after year and were almost friends of the family, it was lovely to see. We couldn't have asked for more from the accomodation, although our room had very recently been re-done so can't speak for all rooms. The pool side bar was great if a little on the more expensive side.
Roda itself is quiet which was what we wanted although I felt a bit too British for our tastes, we seemed to have to hunt geniune Greek food. Most places were British run and although some people like a roast dinner on a Sunday and Fish and Chips at night that is not for us. The British places do offer Greek food but I prefer a Greek feel to it as well. Nikos Family Resturant offered us all we wanted and we ate there over half of the holiday, the lady that serves (Niko's wife) is very friendly and the food was amazing.
As someone else mentioned the bites are a problem, I counted 60 bites and then gave up after a week there. I would make sure you take a cream to treat them with you as we bought some from the pharmacy and when we returned found out that it was not for treating bites!

We had a great holiday at the Melinda apartments. A family run site nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were basic but clean. I'd recommend the day trip to Paxos on Theos boat it was fantastic. Local place to eat is The Mistral which is friendly and good value for money.
Only downside to this holiday was the mosquito bites which were really bad even though web took all the repellents, plug ins and creams that we could buy.
The weather for week beginning 20th October was fantastic well exceeding our expectations.

Just returned from a fantastic week in Corfu. Weather was a little hit & miss but still managed to get myself a suntan. The Melinda apts are great, yes they are basic but what else do you need other than a clean bed and a roof over your head. Andonis cooks the best ebglish breakfast ever and his chips are to die for. I think I have put on a good couple of pounds thanks to his cooking. Mamma, although cannot speak english still makes you feel VERY welcome. When we left the island to come home yesterday mamma walked my little boy to the bus as my hands were full of luggage and gave us all a kiss goodbye and wished us a safe journey home. I would definately go again and wouls recommed to anyone.

We have just returned from The Melinda and as usual everything was 100% great.The staff (George/Adonis/Gail were fantastic as expected.Rooms were typical greek (basic but cleaned on a regular basis).The swimming pool was clean and we had no bother getting a sunbed on a morning even at 10.00am!!!Hope to return next year.

Melinda apartments are the best. As people say george & the family are great they are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo friendly. When you leave they help you with your cases. they are great with the kids. they have chikens in the back (so you get fresh eggs).

What can I say. Had a fantastic time here. Swimming pool was lovely set in a small garden. George and the family treat you like friends and make you most welcome especially Mamma while also going out of their way to help and look after you. Trying to book another holiday this year but can't seem to get a room at the Melinda. Will be going back next year to see the team.
The apartments are very clean and quite spacious compared to some in Greece. Roda is lovely, the people are so friendly and always have time for you, the bars and restaurants are good too, some places to try are Roda Park, Tropicana, Smilies, all have different themes eg quizzes each night, karaoke, or just go for a drink and people watch.

My first visit to a Greek Island was brilliant. Roda is a fantastic resort and the Melinda Apts are great. The Melinda apts are run by a family, all of them willing to almost anything to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Becky (my girlfriend) and I had the most amazing two weeks with great weather, all the bars and restaurants were fantastic.
If you’re planning a holiday to Roda you must visit the Roda Park restaurant. We will definitely be visiting Roda again and definitely staying at the Melinda.

We have been going to Roda in Corfu for the past 5 years, some times twice a year, when we go we stay at the Melinda, the apartments are your basic Greek apartments, well not as basic as some we have stayed in, and in the apartment you have a kettle, toaster, oven, and even a shower curtain!!! And they are clean, the other things that take us back year after year are the owners, they treat you like family, and go out of there way to help and look after you, the resort of Roda is lovely, the people are so friendly and always have time for you, the bars and restaurants are good to, we have our favourite's, the Tropicana that has bingo, music and lovely staff, the roundabout bar, that is a nice place to relax and unwind, have a chat with the owners, they are a lovely couple, in all the years we have been going to Roda we have never had a bad meal, and that is why we give the apartments the resort and the people of Roda/Corfu a big 10/10
