Comments:  The hotel was very pleasant.
But: at the day of checking out we quited our room at 12.00 and have free time before flight (at 20.20), we checked passports, tickers and money to the reception-s safe. When we returned at 17.00, the documents had disappeared. Nobody stealed then except stuff. And nowadays all the week I'm waiting their answers, but they don-t think about their reputation. They keep silence, escape of the answer
They have many problems of stuff' selection. Their level doesnt' fall short of 4 stars.
The client doesn't worry about values registered at the department of the hotel.
And the boss is not in a hurry to offset a disadventage and moral damage.
Please, be careful and attentive booking the room at Paradise Park

Comments:  I quite enjoyed my stay at Paradise Park. It was my first time staying in a 4 star hotel. I was Half Board there, the room i stayed in was average, it seemed no different from a 3 star hotel room. Needs much redecorating, old Terracotta coloured furnishings and curtains with holes torn in them, the mini bar is just a little fridge with nothing in it. The beds and towels are changed everyday which is very good but the room's surfaces were hardly wiped and were left a bit dusty. The mirror is far across the room from the dressing table which doesn't help and the hairdryer in the bathroom wasn't very good. It can get very noisy when the cleaners start early in the morning, a lot of banging and furniture sliding across the floor. I must say i enjoyed the food in the hotel's restaurant. I loved the selection of fish. It can get a tad repetitive but i absolutely loved the desserts. Drinks were expensive though. Most of the time the lifts aren't worth using, they keep stopping on floors you don't want them to so the stairs are better. Hotel entertainment was not to my taste. All they seemed to have on was Bingo, a country western singer, spanish dancing or a bit of fun for young children like clowns or parrot shows. If you want peace and quiet there is plenty of it on the roof. It's lovely up there with a pool, a bar and sun loungers about the size and comfort of a double bed. The rock pool is gorgeous too. I never used any other facilities like the spa, gym or shops but i had a nose around and it looked very good. I can't grumble really but if i go there again i would have to pay a bit more for a posh room and go self catering because i was a bit dissapointed with this one, it was tiny. It is an extra 60 euros per night to upgrade to the better rooms. We had to be out of the room at 12 pm on the day we were leaving and i was very shocked how expensive it was to keep the room. 24 euros per person so it would have cost us 48 euros just for an extra few hours stay! Certainly not worth it for that room.

Comments:  I cant believe some of the reviews below. I stayed in a duplex apartment which had the best views and the accommation was fantastic.
The food was far from repeatative as you had about four food stations which served different types of food. Breakfast was either fresh fruit, english breakfast, continental or cereal and evening meal had something for everyone including my 3year daughter.
The pools where cleaned early every morning and were spotless.
The staff were really helpfull.
I am a Travel agent myself and booked the hotel with the company I work for. I have stayed in some very nice hotels and WILL recommend this hotel to anyone.
However the only thing id say as a negative is the location. The Paradise Park is at the top of a hill which is fine walking down and only takes 10mins to the beach, but we got a taxi back which only cost about 3euros.
We only stayed in for the entertainment for one night and what I saw it was good, but we prefered to go into the resort in the evening.
I know just as good as anyone that when it comes to hotels its each to there own, but may I point out this is a 4 star hotel and not a 7star deluxe which im sure some people below expected.

Comments:  i would not rate this hotel as 4*. the only good thing was the cleaning service. We had a double room which was very basic with a small balcony. the lift in the hotel was unreliable, the food in the restaurant was very repetative and boring. It was like a school canteen with the noise and people squeezing between tables. Restaurant staff unfriendly especially if you didn't order expensive drinks! Evening entertainment "crap". Courtesy bus a waste of time.......unless you wanted to risk loosing your life at the hands of the driver. Pools ok......nothing special, although rooftop pool for adults only but very small. Actually some of the pools that are advertised in the hotels' website are in fact next door and you have to pay to use them so in fact there are only 3 useable pools....the rooftop one, the round one that all the kids use, or the natural pool which looks good but is in fact only 0.8meters deep in an area with no bar or snack bar! So if you are reading this and are considering going to the Paradise Park.......think again, book self catering.....have nicer food at places of your choice with cheaper drinks.......and have a nice holiday....P.S. the beaches at los cristianos are lovely...9 euros for 2 sunbeds & a parasol!!

Comments:  Me and my boyfriend went to Paradise park for 1 week and enjoyed it throughley. We met 2 other friends there but they were half board and we was not. It took us about 20-25 minutes to walk to the centre of Los Christianos and to the beach which we didn't mind walking as it was nice and refreshing walk. It took about an hours stroll to walk to the centre of Playa De Las Americas, veronicas, but only about 6 to 7 euros in taxi. We did go out on Veronicas and thought it had been refurbished and modernised from the last time we visited. Paradise Park is a nice location if you dont mind walking, there is a few bars around the hotel which are good, one was called taylors which was very modern and Bojangles which we would go in for a last drink before heading to bed.

We stayed self catering and the apartments are basic but glad we did as they are very spacious compared to the double rooms which only have a double bed and thats pritty much it. The hotels surrounding are very nice and the views are lovely, there is a roof top on the hotel where you can go and sun bath and its adults only. It is very warm up there as there is hardly any breeze what so ever. There is also 2 pools one where all the apartment and other rooms are and there is another pool which i think most people dont know its there as it is very quite. This is situated at the side of the hotels. We would defo go back next year.

Comments:  Just returned from a wonderful break at this hotel. We had a great room, cleaned daily with clean towels etc. The food was great with lots of choice . Some cooked fresh in front of you so you can ensure it hadn't been sat around. Lots of salads , The desserts were delicious with lots of choice (try the gateaux) You will not manage everyone the whole of your stay. The pools were good. Try the one adjoined to the hotel at Atlante, you need to show your restaurant card to gain access, but lots of empty sunbeds. We went in the water and it was lovely even at this time of the year. Catch the free bus down to the town ..Worth a visit is the sunday market, 5 mins downhill a bit harder on the return journey. Another trip i recommened is to see Teide and the village of Masca, a very beautiful village but not a place to get to on your own. Our guide was very good with lots of interesting details. Tenerife is full of touts ignore them and enjoy your holiday.

Comments:  Just returned from a great week at this hotel. Food was great with lots of choice. Rooms are okay and of a good standard. Our room was cleaned daily with clean sheets and towels. You do need to visit the pool side next door at restaurant Atlante. you gain access by using your meal pass.It is free and was very quiet when we were there. The rest of the pools are great although some what cold. Take the organised trip to teide it is well worth it as driving round those roads would not be enjoyable. Beware the scratch card scammers near the market on a sunday. It is a great sunday morning if you love a bargain !!!!

Comments:  We stayed at paradise park for a week, to be honest the apartments need refurbished,. The food was ok though we dined out a few nights as it was a bit repetative. It is a good 10 miniute walk in to los cristianos. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was really clean. I would stay at this hotel again if I got it on offer.

Comments:  The hotel was good value for money, staff helpful and food reasonably varied. Standard rooms are a bit tired and could do with refurbishment. Tip when checking in they ask if you have stayed before say yes and you are more likely to be given a better located room. I was not happy with the allocated room (above the entrance where the buses stop) was given a pool and sea view room when one became available.7th floor executive rooms and apartments that have been converted into rooms with lounges are available at a supplement although the hotel was full most of the time, people in these said they were luxurious, power showers jacuzzi baths etc..

Some complained that it is not up to 4 star standard (approx 20 years old) so does not compare with more recent hotels but holidays at these are more expensive.

The hotel has some areas that are adults only which is good if you like peace and quite- roof top sun terrace with bar, plunge pool and jacuzzi -fabulous views of resort sea and mountains also natural swimming pool and terrace area on the ground floor. Guest can use the Altantide spar pool complex next door if join the hotels Amigos scheme - this also gives discounts if booking the hotel direct and other benefits.

There was no towels at dawn rush for sunbeds, you could get one anytime.

There is some daytime entertainment but felt sorry for the enthusiastic Italian guys as few people were interested. Night time entertainment was the usual hotel shows held inside in the ground floor bar area - this is not the place if you like a lot of lively hotel based activities as there was not much atmosphere. Most suitable for people who like a quiet holiday not suitable for children at this time of year - they would be bored.

The hotel has quite a lot of steps and slopes so not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

Ten minute walk downhill to seafront and a bit further to the town beach and resort centre. The hotel has a daytime courtesy bus to the edge of town and near the fabulous Las Vistas beach. Also five to ten minute walk to the bus station buses to all over the island- get a Bono card - 50% of long distance journeys 30 % off shorter journeys

There are several bars and restaurants near the hotel catering for most tastes.

Trip to Mount Teide and Whale watching recommended.

Comments:  We booked the hotel and flight with Sundeal/Leeds Co-op again on the Internet to get a 10% discount. Transfer to/from the hotel was by taxi costing 18 Euros each way.

The hotel is on the inland side of the resort near the edge of the built-up area on a hill, it was fairly quiet at night and about 15 minutes walk from the promenade. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to the resort centre most of the day. The best sandy beach, Playa de Las Vistas, is about 25 minutes walk in a direct line round the back of Mount Chayofita

Most of the hotel staff could speak English. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. (10/10) The hotel rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel.

The bedroom and the dining room had air-con. The beds, twin three quarter size, had a solid base with a firm but comfortable sprung mattress. The bathroom was adequate (hairdryer included) but looking dated. Towels were changed on a regular basis. The fitted furniture in our room was showing signs of distress and the room needed re-decorating. The balcony was adequate with two chairs and a table.

I won't mention the cockroaches, except to say that we stopped their invasion by plugging the gaps between the floor and wall tiles in the bathroom where the grout had fallen out.

Breakfast (8/10) was the edible cooked meal of the day, although it can seem to be a bit repetitious, with bacon, beans, sausage, eggs, omelettes, salad, cold meats, and cheese nearly every day.

Dinner (4/10) was the worst, excluding the cold buffet; we have had in a 4 star hotel. There was an emphasis on fish dishes most days. Vegetables were generally not warm and the raw side of 'al dente' sometimes. Plates were usually cold. Some show cooking food, chicken, and meat was cooked and sometimes black on the outside and pink or red in the middle. Chips and Canary style potatoes were a permanent feature.

The roof top solarium (adults only) has the largest sun loungers we have seen and an excellent view over the resort. It also has a small swimming pool, 2 Jacuzzis, and a cafe/bar.

Entertainment varied from mediocre to poor.

I would rate this hotel a 2 star for food quality, 3 star plus for overall food variety, 3 star plus for room accommodation because of the fridge and 3 star for hotel facilities and certainly not worth a 4 star status or a future re-visit.

Bars worth a visit are Bojangles, Bar 39, Charley’s, and D'Arcos.

The resort is well served by buses from the nearby bus station and taxis and other forms of transport are available for hire nearby.

Comments:  We were very impressed by the service of the staff and the entertainment team. Our apartment was very clean and the maids were very pleasant and provided clean towels every day, which I have not experienced at other hotels I have stayed at.

The choice of pools was great, I know the hotel is on a steep incline but for the less energetic the hotel lay on a minibus shuttle which runs every half hour to the beach at los Cristianos

The description of the hotel was spot on except for one thing, we were led to believe that no children under 16 years of age were allowed at this hotel, this was not the case. There were toddlers and babies in pushchairs but we did notice that most of these were Spanish so is an exception made just for them?

Other than that I can only say my husband and I had a super time and would return again.

Comments:  We booked this hotel at the last minute and were informed that it was an adults only hotel. It is not, apparently, it was changed about 2 weeks before we got there, holidaymakers already booked had received a letter from their tour operator.

The food was of a good standard, the rooms were O.K., not 4* quality though.

It is about 15 minutes walk to the beach, but you wouldn't want to go swimming there, as it is adjacent to the harbour.

The main swimming pool is very nice, plenty of beds and you can obtain towels from the hotel on a daily basis. There are two other swimming pools, which are adults only, one on top of the roof.

The nightly entertainment wasn't the best, but there is plenty going on if you want to walk into Los Cristianos, although not always the best singers.

Comments:  Well where to begin, the Paradise Park is definitely not a paradise, it is in the process of being refurbished which is fair enough but is definitely not a 4 star hotel... more like a 2 or 3 star.

During our time there we found ourselves in 4 different rooms during our 10 day stay, our first room was tired and old, damaged furniture, holes in the bath which were pumped with silicon, mould on the walls and a really smelly damp wardrobe with a disturbing liquid on the bottom?

We asked to be moved but were fobbed off, we contacted our rep who sorted it out for us. Our second room was a refurbished room, much better, clean tidy very nice, until 2 days before our departure. 12am in the morning drilling! It sounded like a hammer drill up the side of our wall and what with being out on the Freebird boat all day (which is great by the way) we were very tired and so just wanted sleep.

The hotel staff knew nothing about this 'what drilling they said' ermm hello listen?!? 'oh yes' the drilling could be heard above the loud entertainment. We were told it should stop in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later still going, went down again and a Spanish woman receptionist more or less told us to put up with it, she was very aggressive and was arguing with the trainee lad who was the only person who wanted to help. Apparently they were digging something up in the kitchen? Makes you wonder what was in the food? The kitchen was 3 storeys below our room!

They moved us to another room for the night to sleep.. again this was a un-refurbished room same as the 1st one. The 4th room we had was to have a shower in before we flew home after we checked out, again un-refurbised and very dangerous. The shower leaked; we put towels down on the floor but I still slipped over and nearly cracked my head off the stone sink.

The hotel itself could be very nice, it would of been a 4star in the 80s when it was built, but not now, no way! Our second room was lovely and I'm sure if we had that room in the 1st place our review would of been better.

The food served was OK, although it got boring after a few days as it was very predictable, breakfast was the best out of all and in the evening we had to pay for drinks! Not half board in my eyes not even allowed 1 drink with our meal so we had a bottle of water between us every night (1.90E).

The pools were nice with plenty of sun loungers, daytime entertainment was not that good, they tried to encourage people to play table tennis etc. The evening entertainment was also poor, not starting until 10pm and was predictable, didn't spend much time in there. The place I would recommend would be Taylor's bar that was brilliant, good prices, food, friendly staff really welcoming, the curry house on the end was a bit poor and expensive! The slow boat 5 Chinese in the town was great and the steak house but the church in the square was the best steak I'd ever had and a good price as well!

Lets just say we spent a lot of time outside the hotel, we will not be going back and are in the process of trying to get a refund! Also the My travel reps, our second one, I wont say names was a useful as a chocolate teapot, deciding to rip up our questionnaire which we witnessed and are reporting to head office.

Its not like we moaned a lot. It might sound like we did but we made the best of our holiday and will go back again, but not to Paradise Park.
