We have just got back from Paradise Park Apartments and it was fantastic. There was some building works going on, but they don't bother you. The staff are very friendly and the facilities were very good and very clean.
The only problem we had was our room was not ready when we arrived we had to wait a couple of hours. The hotel entertainment is well worth having a look at as well!

Really great apartments, very spacious. There were 2 adults and 4 children in our party. Plenty of entertainment during the day for both kids and adults and all the entertainers were fabulous. Also really good shows in the hotel at night. reasonable prices at the snack bars and restaurant, but there is also a supermarket on site which is really reasonable.
The only reason I did not mark this as a 10 was the distance from the centre of Los Christianos, a good 30 minute walk if you have children, it is all downhill though. Taxis were really cheap and averaged around 5 euros to get back from the centre. I would have definitely gone back however I believe that this is to be an over 18's only for next year.

My family and I went to the Paradise Park Apartments in April 2004 and had the best holiday ever. I have a son who is 4 and there were activities for him all day long and mini disco every night before the main entertainment started. The team of entertainers were fabulous and very friendly. We overlooked the building work next door but never heard a thing. The only concern I had was that the area where the children sometimes play shuffleboard has a huge drop on one side so be on your toes mums and dads if you have little ones. We shall be returning next year!

Hi
I have just come across this site, very good it is too.my family and I have stayed here twice before, the last time easter 2003.Each time we have had a wonderful time in spite of the building works everyone is going on about, yes they were up and running back then and are obliviously still not completed. This brings me to my point we are considering returning in oct 2004, can anyone tell me if the new area, including swimming pools and resturants has been added to paradise park as going by the information Juilian gave us this should be the case, but none of the brochures have included this so far

Just got back a couple of weeks ago after a very enjoyable holiday at Paradise Park. The complex is immaculately clean and all staff are friendly. Some minor building work going on, but nothing that would spoil your holiday.
The complex has been fantastically designed, with palm trees around the pool, loads of space and sunbeds, and a feeling that you're somewhere in the tropics. The rooftop pools have fantastic views, and the open-plan atrium is very impressive.
The only reason we didn't give it a '10' is due to the following :
1) Check-in is complete unorganised chaos - after arriving at the reception at around 12:45pm we were told by flustered staff that no rooms were available, and that we would have to wait. Over four hours later, with no cosmos rep present or staff to keep us informed, we finally got into our room - there were still people waiting after us!!
2) The complex boasts that it has heated pools, which was one of the main attractions of a January holiday - this was a complete lie. After reviving my toe of frostbite from a pool equal in temperature to the defrosting tray of a freezer we complained to the cosmos rep at the welcome meeting, and the excuse was that "it's down to the managers discretion" - in England that's what we call trade description, and certainly not what your told when they're taking your money off you!
Apart from these hiccups, the holiday was brilliant, and providing you know what you're going to I'd go back tomorrow.
This has been the best self-catering holiday of my life.
Be patient at check-in, expect a cold pool, and go to Paradise Park!
