Nice Clean Hotel. Initially had a room facing the road, which was actually below road level so was very claustrophobic.
On speaking to our rep and the hotel manager we're moved to a room overlooking the pool which was lovely.
Disappointed to learn that this 'adults only' hotel had screaming children running around until all hours. I think the children were staying in the apartments within the complex.
First impressions when going out for supplies (i.e. water, newspapers) is to head towards the sea, but going up the hill you come to the nearest supermarket.
The hotel is on a very steep hill which isn't ideal for people with mobility problems, also due to the hotel being on a hill inside the hotel is on many levels and a lot of steps.
All this aside, the food was acceptable, lovely fresh fruit and a lovely waiter who was saying 'Happy New Year’ and 'Merry Christmas' to us in July which we found funny.
I have booked to come here again, but have booked a junior suite this time.
I'd recommend it!

Although Los Christianos is a great town, I would not advise staying at the Paradise Park Hotel which is definitely not a 4 star - may have been in its hey day.
Cleaning was the main issue - OR lack of it - and there was also a severe problem with the smell of broken drains under the Apartment where we were staying, which seemed to attract various members of a certain cockroach family throughout the course of our 1 week stay!
Los Christianos itself is a lovely place for a holiday and the restaurants along the sea front were plentiful and all of a high quality.

Although the complex is at the top of the affectionately and correctly named 'Heart-attack Hill' there is a regular and reliable minibus service to several locations in the resort centre, and taxis are very cheap if somewhat scary. If you decide to walk into town the resort centre is only a brisk 10-15 minute walk (and it's all down hill). Once you get there there's a good blend of lairy Brit-pubs and takeaways, combined with really nice local bars and restaurants, although not many of those on the sea front make you want to stay for mare than a quick drink.
For those who prefer a quieter experience, I'd recommend the bars and restaurants in and around the complex, where all tastes are catered for from Sports bars to Expensive restaurants and cabaret clubs to local tavernas.
The accommodation is basic but clean, some furniture was in need of attention, but all utilities were in good order and everything worked well. The upper floor apartments seemed to be much more pleasant than those lower down, which were quite gloomy at times, and the balconies were a good size and nicely private.
All in all a very good value for money experience which I'd recommend for anyone, whether young or old, families or couples (as long as you can make it up the hills, steps and slopes !).

We were being a little apprehensive after we read some of the reviews we found online about the Paradise Park Hotel in Los Cristianos. But these worries disappeared quickly the longer we enjoyed the hospitality of the Hotel and Tenerife as a whole.
As first time travelers to the Canary Islands we were not sure what to expect but we had a marvelous time.
First of all the Hotel was on walking distance to the beach, (about 15 minutes down hill). There was a free minibus as well, so if walking up-hill was a little too much, the bus took us back to the hotel - great added bonus!
The food was very, very tasty. The buffet in the morning served from Full English to continental incl. muesli's, fresh fruit, yoghurts and a number of different breads and crackers even chocolate milk was available!
The evening buffet was even better! There was so much choice, you just didn't know what to choose next. Everyday there were some different additions, like steak, salmon, tuna, hake, paella, and the choice of vegetables was varied as well. Then (if you still had room for desert) there was a selection of cheeses, fruit, ice creams (6 flavours at least), home made cakes and every night a flambé, like banana, peaches or small pancakes! It was just fantastic!
As the hotel was adult-only, the overall atmosphere was pleasant, everybody was relaxing and having a good time, if you wanted, you could join in with arranged entertainment both during the day and in the evening. Or just sit by one of the pools, either on the roof terrace in one of the whirlpools, or the large natural pool with waterfall downstairs...
Yes, the rooms could do with a little updating with regards to the décor in the hotel rooms, but it was clean, and the people were friendly and helpful! We will go back there, for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Paradise Park, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The main pool area and the extra one round the side of the resort which you get tickets for from reception was brilliant and that is where we spent most of our time.
We did think that the drinks in the hotel were slightly more expensive than the bars across the road (Bar 39 was good), great cocktails! Entertainment is good if you’re drunk!
The walk into Los Cristianos was about 15 minutes and was quite nice to walk, however there is a courtesy minibus that takes you and can bring you back, or taxis are only about €6.
The first Choice rep was useless, gave us wrong information and all she tried to do was constantly sell to us rather than help us.
Would definitely go back here but would book direct with the hotel and would not book through First Choice!

Two weeks in this fab hotel! The food was gorgeous and i put on half a stone! My boyfriends a fussy eater but he always managed to go back for more.
Location is ok for younger people. Far enough away from the clubbing scene but the taxis were so cheap so we went every other night to Las Americas. Club in hotel with great entertainment. Staff all say hola! From the maids to the girl in the pool bar! Lovely people.
The hotel has spa, gym, a la carte restaurant, piano bar, club, buffet restaurant, 2 pool bars, sun deck on the roof, hair dressers...need I say more

Advertised as 4* Shuttle Bus to beach -warm and friendly atmosphere-a hint of overlooking the harbour? Having been used to Iberostar hospitality on our previous holidays, we were expecting standards.
It came as quite a shock therefore when we arrived at 11.45 AM to be told our room was not ready and to come back some 1-2 hrs. later. The Reception staff were rude and abrupt without exception throughout our stay.
The shuttle bus facility had been withdrawn as from 25th Aug much to the delight of the taxi`s who charged anywhere from 2.90 -5.00 Euros per journey! The waiters however were very polite and helpful, the young lady operating the Atlantic (pool side refreshment bar) was exceptional.
We were offered no refund of any Taxi fares. A fellow guest whose room was not ready (they had arrived at 4.45AM) were eventually shown into not ONE but TWO occupied rooms! We will not be returning.

This hotel would have been fantastic if it was not for the amount of noise that we suffered during our stay.
My new bride and I were on honeymoon in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of June and we were hoping to enjoy a nice relaxing holiday after all the stress of the wedding, what a joke!
The hotel is facing some apartments that are also owned by the hotel, these apartments are currently being renovated, and by renovated I mean completely gutted! We were woken up early every morning with either banging, drilling or the screeching sound of Floor tiles being cut. At one point the banging was so loud it sounded like they were taking walls down. It wouldn’t surprise me!
The upshot of all this work was that we were forced out of our rooms, there was no question of having the balcony doors open, you couldn’t lay by any of the beautiful pools unless you were tone deaf, and you couldn’t shut the noise out either.
It went straight through the balcony doors!
We spent most of our time away from the hotel due to all the noise, and were severely disappointed. I actually did worry a little about the comments made previously about the couple who holidayed in February but thought that the work would certainly have been finished by June as it is peak season?
The comments made about the hotel itself being noisy were also accurate, there are gaps between each floor and it is necessary to bang to the room door shut to get it to lock so you can hear every single door being banged shut and it echoes across the whole hotel, bad planning!
We actually asked to be moved within 10 minutes of arriving at the hotel and were told that if they moved us they would have to give us twin beds, erm, we are on honeymoon!?
This is nowhere near a 4star hotel. In Britain it wouldn’t even attract a 2 star rating, stars must be a lot easier to come by in Spain. I have stayed in better hotels in Tenerife for lots less money!
The only reason I gave it such a high rating is because the facilities are very good.
Would I stay at this hotel again? No! They had their chance and ruined our one honeymoon that we spent all year saving for.
Thank you for nothing paradise park!

This hotel was nearing the end of its time as a family hotel when we were here.....it is now an adult only hotel.
However the hotel itself was still fantastic. The food and room service were both a-grade, a great selection of British and continental meals were all available.
The pools were of good quality, and the only qualm was the maintenance on level 7, but this did not start early and was never noisy. Entertainment on camp was excellent.

Hi guys,
I'm happy that everybody else here had a better holiday in Paradise Park than we did. I suppose you get what you pay for. I knew the price was too good to be true.
Me and my husband were staying in the apartment. Just few doors along the builders were renovating the apartments and every morning 7:30 we were woken up by drilling and hammering noises. If the builders weren't too noisy then we got "an early call" from neighbours. The apartment walls are very, very thin and you can easily hear people's footsteps, conversations, closing doors, opening wardrobes and especially flushing toilets. To top up all that noise our balcony was overlooking one of the busier roads. We just could not get any peace and quiet.
I'm a 25 year old full time student and my husband has worked very hard to afford a holiday. We're not some old, old couple which complains about everything but honestly the noise was becoming unbearable and made us very angry.
Another thing - we were told by the holiday shop staff that the hotel was adults only. This sounded very appealing to us as we really wanted a quiet holiday. As soon as we arrived we realised that it was opposite - it was a family hotel with plenty kids!!!
However, the hotel staff were very, very sympathetic and helpful - 5*. The night entertainment was also very good but the drinks in the bar were a bit pricey. We never bothered using any other hotel facilities as we wanted to escape from there as soon as we were woken up.
Overall the hotel was reasonable value for money but the accommodation wasn't worth 4* (maybe for cleanliness only). Again the staff were great, polite, helpful and friendly.
Don't think we will be going to Paradise Park ever again.
Good luck to you all going to stay at the hotel. Maybe you'll get more rest than we did.
Kind regards, R.

Just got back a couple of weeks ago after a very enjoyable holiday at Paradise Park. The complex is immaculately clean and all staff are friendly. Some minor building work going on, but nothing that would spoil your holiday.
The complex has been fantastically designed, with palm trees around the pool, loads of space and sunbeds, and a feeling that you're somewhere in the tropics. The rooftop pools have fantastic views, and the open-plan atrium is very impressive.
The only reason we didn't give it a '10' is due to the following :
1) Check-in is complete unorganised chaos - after arriving at the reception at around 12:45pm we were told by flustered staff that no rooms were available, and that we would have to wait. Over four hours later, with no cosmos rep present or staff to keep us informed, we finally got into our room - there were still people waiting after us!!
2) The complex boasts that it has heated pools, which was one of the main attractions of a January holiday - this was a complete lie. After reviving my toe of frostbite from a pool equal in temperature to the defrosting tray of a freezer we complained to the cosmos rep at the welcome meeting, and the excuse was that "it's down to the managers discretion" - in England that's what we call trade description, and certainly not what your told when they're taking your money off you!
Apart from these hiccups, the holiday was brilliant, and providing you know what you're going to I'd go back tomorrow.
This has been the best self-catering holiday of my life.
Be patient at check-in, expect a cold pool, and go to Paradise Park!

Having read good reviews for the Paradise Park Hotel we were not disappointed with our stay there.
We had a 7 night stay on half board. The accommodation was comfy and whilst we could see the sea from our balcony we were over-looking a new shopping development and the sea was a distant strip of blue.
The food and service were excellent. Self-service breakfast and dinner meant no waiting about and with a large time window for both meals getting a table was never a problem.
The variety of food was impressive and the recommended wines each proved good value.
In addition to the ground level pool there is a pool and sun are on the roof of the hotel, a bit of a novelty but affording good views.
Los Cristianos was a good base for exploring by car and then main road around the island was easily accessible from the hotel.
Diesel for the hire car was amazingly cheap and after running around all weak it cost just under 22 Euro to fill the tank!
Head for the interior of the island, the volcanic landscape, and small villages. Avoid the busy resorts where touts can make just walking around a running battle of wills.
The exception was Le Duq not far from Los Cristianos with a lovely beach, fine eating places, and no touts!!
