Elda Appartments are very dirty, the floors where filthy, the kitchen work top was full of crums and filthy, the oven had crumbs from the previoud tennants and the shower kept blocking up. We had to wash every peice of cutlery and crockery before we could use it.
the noise from the night club was horrendous, from 12 oclock midnight until 7 oclock in the morning, one time 8.30 in the morning (none of the three lovely spacious bedrooms couild excape the noise).
Kassiopi was a lovely place the people where very friendly and the restaurants that we went to where great.
I cant fathom out why Thomas Cooke would sell this appartment to a family. with my experiance I would say go to Kassiopi but steer well clear of the Elda appartments

We stayed hear in September 2008, the Apartments over all were clean and well looked after towels and bed linen were changed frequently one of the best places we have stayed in in Greece, well located for shops and facilitys and night life,
the only let down was the noise from the generater from the suppermarket and late at night from the nightclub that backs on to the apartments.

I have been to Kassiopi 7 times, but have never stayed at the Elda. It was the biggest apartment ive ever stayed in, but other than that, it was nothing special.
There were 5 of us staying there, and i thought the fact it had 2 bathrooms would be a bonus for getting ready for the night, i was wrong, as both showers don't operate together. I am a 17 year old, who had previously returned from a livley holiday in Salou with my friends, where the music and loud noise was no where near as bad as the night club right behind my room, which kept me awake 5 nights out of 7. All 3 balconies had terrible views, and the noisy supermarket generator made nights even worse. Normally i stay by the harbour, which i think i will definetley be doing on my next visit to the island.

after returning this week from the elda apartments, i and hubby had no sleep for our entire stay due to music blaring till 5 & 6 am plus the generator going day & night from the local supermarket which was no more than ten feet from our balcony giving us a splendid view of a blank brick wall & a back yard of bins & rubbish of the supermarket. the sunny pool was great with a nice bar. the beach was not far away which we were pleased about. the apartment was large, clean & nice size balcony but no view. the shower curtain needed replacing and the shower head had to be replaced with a plastic bag. just simple maintainence needed. greek lady very pleasant and helpful. we have been to greece many times but nezt time we will pick a quiter place in the mountains. kassiopi is a beautiful resort, if we were 21 again the noise we would love and enjoy.

I would just like to set the record straight regarding "NOISE" from near by bars near to the ELDA in Kassioppi. Really not sure where the last lot were staying but it certainly wasnt from any near by bars. Kassioppi is a family orientated village and me an my family go every year hand have been going for over 15 years. my daughters now go there with there friends and family please do not be put off by the last comment that it is noisey it certainly isnt

We stayed at the Elda apartments in a spacious upstairs apartment with shower room and bathroom- (a toilet in each) good sized balconies, furnishing was basic but clean, a cleaner came nearly every day. However, although we asked for a quiet situation and were given the impression that Kassiopi was a quiet place suitable for families,(we took our 3 children) we were bombarded with VERY LOUD music from two of the local bars from midnight till 6 a.m. EVERY single night of our stay. This meant a great holiday and a good apartment was spoilt as we were all very tired and i would not recommend it to anyone who wants to get to sleep at all. the Thomas Cook brochure made no mention of the noise and we felt completely let down.If we had wanted the noise we would have gone to Kafos.

Our apartment was on the ground floor, the rooms were very comfortable and very spacious. Elda has all the amendies you would recieve any where else i.e. dining room table and 6 chairs, couch, cooker, fridge/ freezer, clothes airer, kettle, a good shower, basin, toilet no bath. The bed linen and towels were changed every other day by the maid. Only down side was the floors were a tad dirty if you walked around bare foot.
The Elda Apartments are very close to the Town square which makes these apartments an excellent holiday base. The apartments were slightly cold as they are in the shade, but it was May so they may get hotter in the Summer. Would definately stay here again. You have the use of the Sunny pools which is a Childrens pool with a slide and a very deep adults pool, those of you that dont like swimming there is lots of sun loungers.
Me personally I didnt spend much time in the apartment being 23 and with my friends I spent most of my time at the beach, shopping and at the Illusion Bar lol.

I have stayed at this apartment every year for a while now. They are large, clean and airy. The cleaner is a delightful and helpful woman when treated like a human being, which many holiday makers do not. True there are no spectacular views, but the apartment is close to ALL amenities and right in the throbbing heart of the resort... not too far to stagger home at night and very close to the lovely Sunny Pool and shops in the daytime. You want views, then move farther out into the villas in the hills, you want convenience, the Elda is perfect. I adore Kassiopi and my welcome at the Elda is always warm and friendly. Everything is a cock stride away, perfect for the party animal!!

Was lovely and spacious a nice place to stay! I would recommend it. It was clean and tidy and airy.
Close to the centre and has a nice balcony. The kitchen is also very well equipped. I loved my stay their.
I enjoyed the whole self catering thing as you can make shopping trips to the supermarket and make your own food and eat it on the cute balcony!
