Simantro Beach Hotel

Imagine a superb hotel, but with one big problem. Have you ever seen all the customers running every morning from 6:30 in the morning to catch a sunbed under an umbrella? (Umbrella and sunbed WAR). The hotel has a capacity of more than 1000 guests but the free sunbeds at the beach are about 150. As about the rest i rate them as good to very good.

we have just returned from a 3 week AI stay at the Simantro Beach Hotel . Had a great time ,let me tell you a bit about the hotel . The complex is very clean and the grounds very pretty ,we stayed in block five the second one back from the beach and booked through first choice . I took my wife and two children on a package holiday to this hotel through a reputable UK based holiday company. The service and efficiency of the holiday company was second to none and on the whole we enjoyed our holiday there. However, having paid over £2600 sterling for two weeks all inclusive, I was staggered to discover that two of the main pools were closed all day on a Saturday for a private wedding function. Booked for easter holidays. The hotel was cheap, outdoors in april was chilly as usual. Plenty of Bulgarians. The Hotel is in the middle of nowhere though, a car is needed to get around the villages. Nice rooms, nicer surroundings, pools, bar and a distant tennis and football court. Food is plenty so we chose half-board. Great for families with small children in the summer. Not much to do the evenings in the hotel. Try the nearby villages.
