Considering we stayed at the Sani Beach Club the last two weeks of August we were concerned that it would be really busy - absolutely not.
Never had problems with sunbeds by the pool on any of the days we were there. All the staff were very friendly especially the pool bar with the kids and the entertainment team (A1).
The entertainment in the evenings was excellent sum of which just the same as watching west end shows.
The rooms were very nice, although I understand they are closing two weeks early this year to upgrade some of them.
The only down fall was the food in the main restaurant was not very good. Plenty to choose from but much the same every night and not much of a choice for children :-( the food in the Brassarie, Pool bar, and Ouzerie restaurant was much better.
We had originally booked half board but when we saw the prices of drinks etc €4 for a large beer and €4.80 for Bacardi and coke and €2.50 for a coke we decided to upgrade as otherwise we would have ended up with a large bill and the end of the two weeks !!! It was much easier as our 9 year old could then order what he liked when he liked.
We spoke to some people who stayed in the Beach Club for the first week and then the Hotel for the 2nd. They told us the service was very poor at the hotel, as they had to wait nearly an hour for food by the pool where as ten mins max at the Beach Club. Also the hotel was heaving around the pool.
We did not go anywhere else as we found all we wanted where we were. Tennis, Archery, Scuba diving.
We are thinking of going back again next year. One of the best holidays that we have had.

This year we booked independently and went with BA. Very comfortable and arrived relaxed! A taxi was waiting on arrival so a week of chilling had begun.
Unfortunately (everything was as good as 2 years ago but...) the beds were A LOT harder than we remembered...hope that gets sorted or we won't be back! Will check with Natacha the lovely Guest Relations Manager before we book again!
Food and maid service good as ever and helpfulness of staff. The 'secret 'boat trips still going strong and we had the 30 berth boat to ourselves ha-ha! It's not a secret now is it?
Drinks still expensive but buy what you need in the supermarket. The shops are nothing to write home about (very expensive and full of old fashioned clothes!) So you won't need much spending money!

Booked this a year in advance and we were really looking forward to it. Brochure outlined this as a 5 star hotel, but wouldn't agree. We booked a Junior Suite, which was comfortable, but no different to a 'nice' hotel room.
Food was ok, repetitive after the first week. We upgraded to all inclusive, which for the difference in price I would strongly recommend, although the hotel does not advertise this facility.
The pool area was lovely, but spoilt by the many children left to their own devices whilst their parents were sunbathing on the beach. The life-guard had little control over the children and this really spoilt our relaxation on quite a few days.
The dine around option was a great idea and the marina was a pleasant stroll away for an evening drink.
The brochures and map at the hotel do not show the Greek campsite in between the Beach Club Hotel and the marina. Children from the site were often seen by the hotel pool. Evening entertainment was really good and something to suit everyone. Kids club staff were very friendly and the animation team the most 'animated' I've seen.
Overall a really nice complex and we had an enjoyable holiday, but have paid much less for far better accomodation and food in hotels which are not 5 star. I expected better for the price we paid.

Just back from 2 week holiday at the Sani Beach Club. Had a fab time and really recommended. The accommodation was more than adequate for the four of us and the food and facilities get top marks. If you have read other review sites you will have concerns re the wasps but I would say it’s no worse that a summer's day in your garden in the UK.
The Beach club is a lot more relaxing than the Hotel and far less hassle with no queuing and continuous fresh food available. Also recommend you take advantage of the diner around service and try Macaronis restaurant at the harbour.

Recently been to Sani Beach Club in Greece, just perfect. Food 10/10 Location 10/10 Children’s entertainment kids kept busy all the time 10/10, evening entertainment 10/10 excellent shows, Rooms 10/10 so much space and very clean.
Staff and service 10/10 nothing ever a problem. I would highly recommend this if you want a luxury hotel, calm and enjoyable.
The Sani Beach Hotel is much more lively than the beach club, but you can visit between when you wish. You can also have meals around the marina area which is lovely.

This was the first year that we have taken our 21 month old abroad and it was fantastic. The food was lovely (a good variety), the people were lovely (couldn't do enough for you), the beach was gorgeous (it was raked every day).
We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and would definitely go back their again.
The only fault/problem was that we were on one of the higher blocks (up quite a short but steep hill). This isn't too much of a problem though as if you do not want to walk it you can always get the buggy to take you back to your room, you can even get them to pick you up as well if you wanted to (free of charge).

Was disappointed with standard of room, definitely not 4* the beds were extremely uncomfortable with hard mattresses, it felt as if you were sleeping on the floor, I had 14 nights of sleep deprivation.
However the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. The restaurant was good and food served was to a high standard.
The resort itself was in beautiful surroundings with a very calm atmosphere, good to relax in. The pool area could be updated a little.
The best holiday ever. If you want total rest and relaxation in idyllic surroundings, this is the place. The accommodation is in single storey bungalows amongst pine trees, all with their own gardens, and some with mini pools. The food was absolutely first class with a huge amount of choice. The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you.
The evenings consisted of a fantastic meal, then a slow walk along the beach, then back to the bar for a while, maybe to play cards with the other guests.
If this is the sort of holiday you want, there couldn’t be a better place.
During the day, the loungers on the beach are wonderful, or there are short coach rides to local villages, (the bus driver sings, it’s fantastic) where you can see the real Greece. There are other organised trips also.
They do something called "Dine Around" which is fantastic; it means you can use any one of 5 different restaurants if you are on half board.
I have always found it difficult to choose a holiday destination that is suitable for a single mum to take her 2 daughters to,
But I would highly recommend this one, the staff made us feel extra welcome with little surprises in the room every day.
The Sani Beach Club is paradise. It has spoilt us now, we have never been anywhere as nice, so we will be going back again, and probably again!

All four of the Sani resorts (Sani Beach Club, Sani Beach Hotel & Spa, Porto Sani Village & Spa and the Asterias Suites) are located on the Cape of Sani Halkidiki. The beaches are beautiful with white sand. On a clear day you can see Mount Olympos from the Sani beach. The lovely blue water is ideal for families with children and is calm like a lake.
We stayed at the Sani Beach Club on an All Inclusive basis. I must add that you cannot fault the hotel. It has everything you need and is the most relaxing resort I have ever visited. The rooms are huge, the facilities are superb, the staff are simply beautiful and the food is amazing.
For those with babies all of the Sani Resorts offer a creche and baby sitting facilities. For kids there are kids clubs catering for 4-16 year olds.
Staying all inclusive and half board gives you the "Dine Around" option where you can eat at various restaurants at the other hotels but also at the restaurants in the Sani Marina. I must add the Tomato and the Italian Restaurants are fantastic. Eating at the Marina, looking at the yatchs is amazing.
If you are looking for the perfect holiday and are willing to pay a little extra look at the Sani Resort, it is truely amazing.
