Service was first class and all staff were polite and efficient.
The overall standard of the hotel was impeccable as was the a la carte restaurant.
I would advise hiring a car because you are too far away from the surrounding resorts to walk. Steer clear of Marbella and Peurto Banus if you want a 'Spanish' experience and head towards Estepona and the beautiful beach at Tarifa further west.
As this is one of or 'the best' hotel in the area the price of food and drink does add up so try Tikitana 400m west along the beach for excellent food.
If the beach were sandy you’d do very well to find a better hotel in the south of Spain.
