I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks with my boyfriend.
When we first arrived we noticed how dated it was, and I am sure one review I read before going said it had recently been re-furbished, this is not the case.
We absolutely hated the fact that it was mostly Germans and Spanish, only because we felt 2nd class. Plus a lot of the German guests were really really rude.
The food was awful, very samey. Sprouts in melted cheese... pork in lemon curd, not joking! The whole pushy dining room experience was enough to make you go mad.
Rooms were nice and clean, maid service was great, and they were really friendly.
Did wake up to drilling everyday due to building work on hotel next door, they do not look like they are going to finish anytime soon so beware.
Pool area was great, did struggle to get some shade and I have never seen so many saved sunbeds with towels before ever!
Taxi service was great, really cheap to get into town, nice little beach over the road.
Over all we would never stay in hotel again, but Beverley Park Apartments over road seemed nice, that would have be a lot better.

The first thing that British people will notice on arriving at this hotel is that you are not made to feel welcome by hotel staff. You are treated as second class visitors.
The hotel is only interested in German and Spanish holiday makers, who make up a large proportion of the guests here. It is certainly something Thomas cook, and other tour operators should be looking into.
All the other British guests we spoke to whilst we were there said that they were disgusted by the way they were treated by the hotel staff.
The hotel staff were very rude, and were extremely unhelpful. Other British guests said they felt exactly the same way, would never go back, and would also be recommending that other people didn't go there.
The food was terrible, with the same meals available every single evening, including meatballs as mentioned in the other reviews.
I would recommend other British people do not visit this hotel; you will definitely be wasting both your time and money.

This hotel is very nice, it is kept spotlessly clean and the rooms are very spacious. If I had one complaint about it - it would be that the food served on the half board basis is a touch repetitive! I am just very glad that I was only there for one week and not two - if I never see a meatball again it will be too soon.
They cater very much for the German/Spanish visitors - which there were lots of - besides the two of us - I think that for our weeks stay there were only two other English couples present. I later found out that the hotel is situated in the European sector (which means German!) so this could have had something to do with it. Once or twice if you went down for evening meal after 8 - most things were luke warm. My advice is go down as soon as it opens - everything is then piping hot - and the grease doesn't get chance to form! Which is very off putting!
The hotel staff were very pleasant - the entertainment was not up to that much. It was two weeks before Xmas and they decorated the hotel up lovely with large Xmas tree in reception. All in all - apart from the yukky food this is a nice hotel (my advice would be go bed & breakfast and eat out!)

Staying at the Beverly Park Hotel was like staying in an 80's time warp. Desperately needed an upgrade throughout the whole of the hotel.
Staff weren’t particularly friendly or helpful and totally lacked atmosphere. The food wasn’t very nice either so we ended up eating out most nights as there were some nice restaurants nearby.
Evening 'entertainment' was virtually non existent and to be honest, I wished I’d only gone for a week as the second week just dragged and couldn’t wait to go!
So, all in all very disappointed and I’d advise anyone to think twice about going here. I love playa de ingles though - just stay somewhere else!

Have just got back from the airport and have to write this ASAP to stop any other people making the mistake of going here.
Having paid to go all inclusive we had to pay to eat/ drink out of the hotel all week. The food was awful, you don’t expect great food with a 3*, but you expect it to be edible.
It might be more a case of it not being to our taste i.e. British. If you fancy meatballs in gravy for breakfast, brussel sprout soup for you starters- with only lettuce and salad cream as the only non-German option then you might be pleased.
In fact everything in the hotel is aimed at the Germans that make up 99% of the guests. Of the 22 channels on the TV in our room the only one that wasn’t German/ Spanish was sky news- the theme music will always haunt us of our 7-day nightmare.
The entertainment was all German/ Spanish and looked so bad I was glad I couldn’t understand the language. The staff were v.v.v.rude.
Having been moved from our room on the front of the hotel (which overlooked g. canaries’ version of spaghetti junction) we were put on the 7th floor- directly under the generators for the hotels air-conditioning units that constantly buzzed and vibrated through the room!
The maid service was everyday and they did have vacuums that they wheeled around with them however the nail clippings that neither me or my boyfriend created were on the floor of our room from the start until the 3rd day when we moved to another room (they might still be there so if you stop in room 649 don't go barefoot).
Anyway I could go on but I have really just got back and I need to unpack my case and try and forget about my ordeal. Not before writing a very lengthy letter to out tour operator!

Great hotel, great food, smart, clean, friendly - it was marvelous!
Very efficient reception service on arrival (also very helpful throughout the stay), we had a very nice room on 5th floor, although it did not overlook the pool. The road out the back was not too bad or noisy. The room was air-conditioned, very clean, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
Meals are served in the large airy dining room, and the food was very good. Too good, as I put on a pound or so! As with all buffet styles if you eat there for every meal then it can get a bit repetitive, but we eat out on three evenings so to eat there 4 out of 7 times was not boring at all. You can buy wine by the bottle and then return half used bottles for later use, but we only discovered this at the end of the week, so enjoyed lots of fabulous wine hic!
There is a very nice bar towards the rear of the hotel, from where you could also sit out on the terrace until late into the evening before it became too chilly (not cold though!)- There was nice music playing, and on occasions there were live pianists. The disco is downstairs, and this is where the cabaret is held – we went there once, it was pretty lame but entertaining for a while. Mostly we went into town for the evenings so this did not bother us at all.
The pool area and pool bar are really nice, lots of loungers and as it was January not too many folk around the pool, even thought the weather was warm and sunny. There is a back way out of the hotel through the tropical gardens that surrounds the pool, and you can walk though to the road behind the hotel, and then choose to walk up (fairly steep) steps towards the dunes. The other direction goes towards San Augustin, and there are pleasant bars / shopping centers here as there seem to be all over Maspalomas.
Taxis are very cheap and plentiful, except on the Sunday when we had to wait about 20 mins but this is not a holiday ruiner, not the hotels fault!

It was the worst hotel I have ever seen, the only good point was it had nice rooms the rest was absolute rubbish, the hotel had no English people in at all, it was all Spanish and German people.
all of the food was aimed at Spanish and German and nothing for the English, all of the entertainment was in Spanish and German and English were made to feel second best, if you were at the bar while there were Spanish or Germans there then they would ignore you and serve the others first.
It isn’t just me that feels this about the hotel it is my whole family, in fact it was that bad that we are going to write a letter to suggest that they take this specific hotel out of the English brochures.
I can guarantee you that if you are English and you went to this hotel then you would not feel welcome.

First time holiday in a hot country...allocation on arrival. Beverley park hotel, was a great landing for us! We requested and got a sea view! Room was ideal for myself and my friend. Very clean and kept so all week by the chambermaids. Our half board option meant we enjoyed two hearty meals everyday from an extensive buffet selection, no complaints there!
The waiting on staff were very efficient in every way. We were on the third floor and were not bothered in any way by any outside noise. The swimming pools were all clean and often had only a couple of swimmers present for the evening swim which we enjoyed daily to cool us down! I would strongly recommend this hotel as a superb choice of accommodation. Our only reservation we would have to say is "no kettle in our room"! We missed our morning cuppa! Room 315 did us proud!

The hotel is superb, very well maintained with 3 pools, games room, disco, and poolside bar. The food selection is as goods as any other hotel I have visited although the vegetarian option on one occasion was peas in garlic sauce.
You are within walking distance of some local shops/bars but the main resort centre is a good 15 minute walk away buses are available though.

We went allocation on arrival and were directed to a fleapit. Complained and were told to get a taxi to view the Beverley Park Hotel which we had previously tried to book but there wasn’t any accommodation for 5 adults. As we swept up the drive we all thought that there was no need to even view the hotel we just know it would be ok. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful, we did ask for sea view room but there were none available. When we arrived later with our luggage the manager had got us sea view rooms and directed us to them and told us that dinner was being served. it was wonderful. the choice on offer would satisfy the faddiest eater. All buffet meals breakfast and dinner with plenty of choice for all nationalities. The bar staff in the evening were just as nice as all the staff on during the day. The piano bar with (cant remember his name) was excellent and allowed us to sequence dance the night away. Would recommend the hotel for its staff, cleanliness, inside and out, altogether a superb hotel, which I would like to visit again.

Having booked my holiday to the above I then looked on the internet for the reviews (I know this should have been done first) they were so bad on this hotel that I was really worried about going, but, having paid my money I would have to take my chance.
We arrived in the early hours of the morning so we couldn't see too much and had to wait until daylight. I was so pleasantly surprised - I had the most beautiful view from my balcony, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were pleasant.
The meals, buffet style, were standard as in most hotels but there was always plenty of choice.
I cannot fault this hotel and would like to add my review so that future tourists will certainly take a chance on this.
I would add that one of the "Party Nights" with Thomas Cook was a disaster for us; we thought it would be fun for our 14 year old son. On the way down to Puerto Rico on the coach we were told by the rep as the nightclub has a shortage of glasses you will be given a glass of a certain size dependent on what you are drinking and had to keep hold of this glass all evening. When we arrived we were given a plastic glass - all were the same size. Several coaches arrived at the same time so chaos, we waited an hour and couldn’t even get to the bar (it was an "all inclusive" night but you wouldn't get many drinks.
This is one night we would recommend you to miss!
I love parties and going out and have a very hectic social life back home but this is one of the worst "nights out" I have been on.
