We went there all inclusive and had asked for a high sea view sunny room, got none of these requests, our room got no sun at all, although the view was of trees, behind them was a busy road which was very very noisy. Think our stay would have been much better if we had a room on the other side of the hotel which were sunny, had sea views and looked over the grounds of the hotel which were really nice, also you could not hear the noise of the traffic from this side.
You could not fault the cleanliness of the hotel, the maid service was very good, clean towels every day and left your room clean, these were only positive comments I can make everything else was very average, being all inclusive was not a great experience, some of the bar staff were o.k. but others seemed very rude, in particular the one serving in the restaurant, pointing at you and saying no with some requests for drink, asked for wine one night just a blunt "no" and told "beer" despite seeing other tables with wine. You also had to say your room number every time you got a drink which was bit annoying considering you had an inclusive band on your arm.
The food was average, some nights seemed better than others but as the week went on it became a bit repetitive and you could some of the food was being re-used in other dishes at following meals. The restaurant was quite busy some nights and queuing for food at the buffet is not for everyone.
We did not stay in the hotel for the entertainment apart from a brief look one night, from what we saw we were not missing anything great. I know you do not go on holiday to watch TV but the only English channel in the room was sky news, there was piped music in the room which seemed to work half the time but the songs were a strange mix.
There are a lot of steps outside the hotel to get to the beach or anywhere, did not bother us much but could pose problems to some people, would recommend getting a taxi and going to the beach at maspalomas as it is much nicer. As for the resort I would not go back, it is a while since I have been on holiday so not sure if this is what resorts are like now but just walking anywhere you were constantly pestered to come in for food, drink or buy something, I had an unpleasant experience with a black woman not far from the hotel who asked where you came from, etc. had heard about them so just tried to walk on, but she was quite persistent and took a firm grip of my arm and tried to tie a bit of string around it, have since learned she would have said I was cursed and would cost me however many Euros to be burnt off, not nice
Overall would not go back, maybes if we had one of the better rooms might have had better stay but just think everything was totally average and forgettable.

Just returned fom the Beverly Park Hotel and i have never been so glad to return home. The staff were rude and miserable and even though you had all inclusive band on you had to repeat your room number everytime you went to bar which was a pain.Food not bad but could do with a revamp.Lots ofspanish and germans who were quite rude and made you feel uncomfortable.Painting the outside of the hotel so lots of banging going on outside our balcony for three days.Maid did clean room throughly so that was one good thing. But all i can say is if you are thinking of going to this hotel dont because you will need a holiday to get over it.

just got back from gran caneria after spending a week there. the beverley park was just as exspected food was great and the view from our room was fantastic. staff were polite and nice although most could not speak much english, just one thing i would recommend that if you are staying at this hotel and either going all inclusive, full board, or half board do take a pair of trousers or jeans as men are not aloud to wear shorts at dinner time in the restaurant. other than that no problems what so ever and would deffinatley stay there again.

We've just come back from a weekend away in this Hotel and was very pleased with everything. The staff there where very pleasant, didn't speak English very well but they still tried their best. as a Mother of 4 ( but left the kids at home ) i did notice that the Buffet syle food on offer wasn't really great for Kids especially fussy eaters. As for Adults there was a great variety of food and we always found something we liked, the breakfasts where great.
Even though we where only there for 4 days the Maids went into our room everyday and made beds, emptied bins and put out fresh towels.
It was only a 5 minute walk to the Beach and there was a small secluded beach or if you carried on Walking you would get to the main beach which was fabulous. Walking to the main beach could be a bit difficult if you have walking difficulties as there are alot of steps to climb, these steps only lasted for a short while but are quite difficult, after that though its straight all the way along.
Overall i would def recommend this Hotel and where it is situated on the Island.

I did read reviews of this hotel before we went but with so many different reviews some 10/10 some 1/10 i did'nt know what to think!
the staff were neither bad or good but because i went with my 7yr old daughter they ALLWAYS had time for her and the head of entertainment was the friendlist of all, funny too. I do speak a little spanish so i think it made the difference as other guests were none too please with their customer service.
The rooms were cleaned daily but we all got bitten by bed bugs but as the room had carpets!!!!(they gotta go!!why have capets in a desert??) so the only way is to fumigate! saying that the sheets were changed 3 out 7 and 1 extra for change of room which they were happy to do, from floor 7 to 2 because of the safty of the bairn. But the cheap bio powder they use was bringing a lot of guests out in rashes(just speculation after a meeting of minds round the pool)
the food was awful and i'm not the typical brit! the only night it was any good was on mon, the hotel was more 3 star on that day all round !! inspection day perhaps or new guests arriving.
The drinks (agin not gospel) tasted & felt waterd down as the same ammoutdrunk the next night in a good bar (THE CHEERS BAR 5/10 min walk past lovely sea views)left my drunk on less (both drinks and money)
I'm glad we did'nt go all in !!!
It all needed a revamp it was getting done while we were there but it really did'nt spoil the holiday, the earliest time we heard the work was about 10am... no problem & the new jacuzzi looks fab. The room were being re painted, but the kids club, play area & mini golf were near unusable, broke and old over grown! I think they will loose a star if not brought back up to the way it was but in a year round islannd & a dip in tourism due to the "credit crunch" it would be suicide to close for re gen
all in all this hotel best shape up sharpish i had worse & better i dont think i'll go again only after an EXCENSIVE RE VAMP WHICH I HOPE IS IN PROGRESS AND NOT JUST ODDS AND SODS. Money talks if you don't like don't go back good holiday though did'nt spoil it at all.

I read the Beverly Park reviews and did not know what to expect, There were no rude staff as i had read about and there was a huge and varied choice of food for breakfast and dinner,I think the bad food reviews are mainly written by the kind of people who expect all their food to be the same as it is in the local cafe back home,
The room was spacious wnd very clean and the maid changed the towels every day eventhough she was only meant to every second day.It was very quiet and peaceful at nightwith with no noise to be heard. You can replace the door card with any other card to keep AC on when you leave room but dont let maid find you doing it
However there were a few bad points.1 You could not hire a fridge to keep cold drinks like we could in Eugene Victoria Hotel. 2 There is no hair Dryer in room as expected so my wife had to buy one.3 Eventhough you are only 100 metres from the sea you have to walk for 10 minutes to reach the beach which involves climbing a lot of steps to get there.Drinks were a bit more expensive than in outside bars but not by much.
There are some strange dinner rules, you cant carry drinks from the bar into the restaurant and we were told to finish them in bar before eating and men cant wear shorts to dinner.
The nightly Entertainment did not appeal to us much so we avoided it but the older generation seemed to enjoy it.
You have to pay a deposit for the TV remote and also for the safe deposit box, which you get back,
The other good thing was that on out day of departure we were able to keep the room untill 8pm for an extra 25 Euro.

Terrible.
The food was absolutely disgusting and mauled by all the germans and spanish which does nothing for your appetite. Drinks were expensive.
The hotel was dreadfull and full of spanish who are rude and ignorant. Rooms were dirty and the furniture was shoddy. You might aswel stay at the Bates Motel.
The resort was boring and the only redeeming feature was MacDonalds!!!

ive just returned from my week long stay at the beverley park hotel in playa d ingles with my husband and step- daughter, and felt i had to write my opinions.
I read the reviews for the hotel the night before i was due to fly out and was very upset that i wanted to cancel my holiday as 90% of the reviews were bad
So i was over the moon when i arrived at the beautifully clean Beverley park hotel, we arrived at 8pm was greeted with a warm welcome at reception and offered a safe to put in any personal belongings, we went straight for our evening meal where there was a fantastic selection of food for all tastes, i did find it strange that the staff insisted that the men had to wear shirt and trousers fo the evening meal whereas the women could wear anything.
We were told there was work being done to the beach, which wasnt a problem as there was another small beach within a 5 minute walk away, there were 3 swimming pools which were in immaculate condition and had a life guard at, at all times.
The maids were very polite and did a fantastic job everyday as our room was spotlless when theyd finished.
The Hotel was very spanish orientated, but that didnt matter, some of the bar staff did appear quite rude but thats cause they didint speak very good english.
The night entertainment was ok ranging from fashion shows to singers, some were good but not all the entertainment was to our liking which didnt matter as wed go for a walk around playa d ingles.
Overall i enjoyed my holiday and my stay at Beverley park hotel and my advice is to not look at the reviews and not believe everything you read

On arrival we were quite pleased the hotel and gardens looked nice from the outside and we were seen to straight away although had a few difficulties communicating with receptionist as all the ones on duty did not speak any english but seemed pleasant enough. Rooms were pretty basic but clean could do with a lick of paint around the hotel as in some places it is getting into a pretty bad state of repair. First few days we really enjoyed food was ok, maids who cleaned rooms were really friendly and always did a good job, airconditioning hit and miss we had four rooms only 2 rooms worked properly and it was very noisy, pools were nice and clean always managed to get a sunbed, barstaff were not so friendly and the cocktails were disgusting tasted like dilute orange. The beach is under reconstruction but if you turn left and walk down for about 10 minutes you will find another beach which was quite nice sand is a greyish colour but apart from that we had a good time on it plenty to do we went on banana boat, pedalos and jet ski we really enjoyed it. Holiday turned a bit sour halfway through as we were in a party of 8 when we sat in the dining room we chose a table for eight to sit at which was fine at first but on several occasions two of our party decided to eat at the bar outside so there was only six of us at the table the head waiter ( I think he was) told us of for sitting at this table when there was only six of us so we evantually moved as we were made to feel very uncomforatble as the waitresses were glaring at us at meal times and snatching our plates away before we had chance to finish our meal we all had to split up and sit on different tables as there was not any tables left for us all to sit together only to see that the waiter was letting spanish families of three sitting on that table then on another occasion a spanish family of four sat on it and not once did the waiter say anything to them so we complained to rep who said he would sort it out and arranged to meet us the next morning for the waiter to apologise but rep never turned up, rep also told us that the best place for english to stop in Gran Canaria is Puerto Rico as that is where they cater more for the english, also we heard another english family in dining room having problems with waiter as well. We also went on the trip to Anfi which is a lovely place but only go if you are definately interested in getting a timeshare as we spent 3 and a half hours traipsing around the resort before we could go of on our own and in the sweltering heat it gets very warm after a bit! On the whole it was a nice holiday but would definately not go back to that hotel and Thomas Cook need to seriously look into why they are taking bookings for a hotel which is clearly not meant for the english.

First impressions were not good, we arived at around 4am in the morning and was offered no greeting! Just given are key to our room, which we had to find our selves. When askin for a safe on arival we was refused, we was fuming as we had many valubles on us and our balcony door did not lock, which meant any1 coluld get in. We was offered no drinks (water) and ALL Vending Machines were empty, so we had to walk to another hotel to get water. ... We was told by the travekl agents that we was on the beach!! the beach was a building site!!! .. we asked for a English oriented hotel, with live entertainment!! the hotel was directed at Spanish and German- who were very rude towards the English!! Even the staff was rude and always served them before us, no matter how long we had been waiting. Also the entertainment seemed to be aimed at very young children, and was basically the same throughout the two weeks we stayed! Either teenage girls doing underwear fashion shows, or a man playing the piano.
We checked out at 12pm on the sunday, and did not get picked up for transfers till 1am on the monday! during this time we was offered no food or drinks- even though we had payed for a FOURTEEN day all inclusive holiday. when leaving we found out that another couple was given vouchers for meals that day! we was not offered anything!
... In the restaurant we found that the spanish and german were very pushy and did not know what a que was! they was very rude, this was veryu off putting! The food was nice, however it got a bit boring being more a less the same every day! i've seen enough veal to last me a life time. Therefore we ate out most the time, which we wasn't expecting to as we had payed £750pp for all inclusive. ... i would go back to Gran Canaria, but would not go back to this hotel.
However i must say the entertainment team were lovely, very different to the other staff, always spoke and made us feel comfortable around them.

Know exactley as Karl 100000, ask for the same a room higher up with sea and pool views, and what did we get, a very limited view due to palm leaves of the duel carriage way and petrol station. Towels and bedding changed every 3rd day, not acceptable in this day and age.
One small glass of water 300ml (or wine or beer) with your meal if you wanted more you paid for it. You weren't even allowed to take your own bottled water in with you, even if it was bought from one of the vending machines in the hotel!!! Whenever you asked for a drink you had to give your room number which became annoying and defeated the object of wearing your wrist band. All Inclusive deal drinks ceases at 2300Hrs.
I was in the Royal Navy for 23.5 years and the Dining Room was below par for a Junior Rates Mess and not what I would expect for a Hotel, the food was mediocre and alot of reheating previous dishes disguising them with a sauce. God only knows what went into the soups.
Despite attempting to build a repore with the staff by speaking Spanish and tipping the staff remained unfriendly, abrupt, rude and discourteous. I dont know if this was the fact that we were British or All Inclusive.
After 2 days there we considered flying home and went on the ANFI tour, we knew it was time share but wanted to get out of the Beverly Sparse Hotel. We ended up buying at ANFI Beach Club and bought. Thye best decision we have ever made opposed to the worse which was booking at "Stammlager" Beverly Park.
