Wonderful resort. Very clean and pretty. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. There are a few coach tours from England that turn up on day trips but apart from that it's not very touristy.
The beach is very clean and seems to stretch for miles and miles and the sand dunes pretty. Lots of people were flying kites and there is a real family atmosphere.
The holiday inn is a wonderful hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and it is situated within the forest. Yes, Le Touquet has both a beach and a forest. The best of both worlds. We don't play golf but it is a big golf centre.
Can't wait to go back - it is enchanting to say the least.

Well what can we say about this hotel, we booked two rooms and were so disappointed and changed them, both rooms smelt of cigarette smoke and we are non smokers, air conditioning is installed throughout the hotel but is unavailable for use. The new rooms were better but both the tv and shower couldn't be used as they were out of order.
The staff were excellent and helpful, I really felt sorry for them as they were let down by there employers, and had to keep apologising to everyone regarding the poor condition of the amenities.
Le Touquet is a very lovely place to be and I'm sure many people would agree with me on this point. It would be nice if France followed our non smoking laws in enclosed areas. Will still return to France but will enquire in more detail as to the amenities available next time!
