Submitted By: dianesudzTried a few different places for food, (one place - just as u come into beach was shocking, entertainment was great but felt like I was chewing a rubber duck when eating Steak)
Found a little place just down from hotel - great prices (cheaper than everywhere else) brilliant staff - the place is called Mola, id recomment to everyone as food was perfect - no complaints!
All in all had a great holiday and would definately return to Panormos

" Great hotel, Fab holiday! "
Submitted By: Sals444The pool was great and very clean - lovely to have a dip to cool down when the weather reaches 50 degrees! There are plenty of sunbeds too, the hotel was fully booked when we stayed and we never had a problem getting a sunbed even in mid morning!
Didn't stay at the hotel for food, but parents did and they thought it was lovely. The breakfast is repeated everyday which consists of a boiled egg, bread, cucumber, melon etc. can get boring, but they offer a fried breakfast which you have to pay extra for.
All the staff at the Panormos are great fun and very friendly, they can't do enough for you.
The only thing we found with this hotel is that the drinks are quite expensive - a large bottle of water is 3TL - down the road at a local market you can get them for 1TL, but 3TL is only about £1.20 anyway!
The beach is around a 20-30 mins walk away, you can catch a dolmus and takes around 5 mins. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the way down the beach and then plenty more along the marina. It gets very busy on a night time.
The best restaurants we found was Circus - very good staff, excellent service and brilliant food. Harry Potter is great and makes you feel very welcome! Cafe More is very good also, however we did have to wait 1 hour for our starter, but they did only have the 1 waiter on that night!! Also try Mekhan (I think) lovely food again!
All in all, had a fantastic holiday and will definitely book up to stay at the Panormos Hotel again!

" Bored!!!!!!! "
Submitted By: ann000Don't use the lifts, they stuck between floors and when they do nothing moves and the lift goes into total darkness! Only when someone presses it on another floor does it move again. And pressing the alarm button was no use, no one answered it! I saw lots of young kids using this on their own and its pretty scary for adults, let alone kids! This lift stuck twice in the time I used it.Its all very old and wants a total revamp. Only good thing in this hotel was the breakfast, but that was pricey compared to other cafes going into Altinkum.

" I stayed at the Panormas hotel in... "
Submitted By: Miss LG BoswellThe food in the hotel was very good and realy cheap. We ate there every night it was that good. The breakfast was a typical Turkish breakfast with meat, salad, egg and bread.
The staff were lovely, very friendly and help full and very entertaining, especially Ozzy.
The hotel is a half an hour walk away from the centre of Altinkum, but you can catch a bus from outside the hotel which runs reguarly.
The only down side to the hotel was that you were not able to bring food in from outside and the ice creams and drinks were quite expensive. But apart from that it's a great hotel.

" Me and my sister have just returned... "
Submitted By: Mrs L MissingGetting past the start of the holiday we arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a staff member who carried our bags into reception where we checked in. We paid for the air conditioning which is a must and a safe which is kept in the reception area. The room was basic but clean with everything you needed and was cleaned daily. All we ever had for breakfast was toast and jam but that was enough for us. We managed to find a sun bed everyday around the pool and if you couldn't ozzy would find you one. We had a few problems with our room but they were sorted within minutes of us reporting them.
The bar/waiters/reception staff were all really friendly and made our holiday which is more than I can say from the owners of the hotel. The just seemed to sit around all day watching you and making sure you wasn't bringing any food into the hotel. We all understood that you couldn't take things up to your room but why was it a problem to go down to the supermarket and buy things to eat around the pool? Compared to the supermarket down the road the prices for drinks/ice creams/chrisps were so expensive!! I was disgusted that they had the cheek to ask to check your bags to see what you had bought especially when they took the 80 year olds mans food away!!! This seemed to be the case in alot of the hotels about bringing your own food in. That was the only negative thing we can say about the whole holiday.
Make sure that you book a Turkish Bath while your away it was the highlight of the holiday!! The resort it's self is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel but if you don't fancy that the dolmus buses are just outside the hotel and take you into dolphin square for 1 LIRA 25, they run all day and finish at 2am.
We had a great time here and would definatly return in the near future!

" The weather and Altinkum bay were... "
Submitted By: Mrs J HiggsThe pool area was overcrowded as guests sought 'cleanish' sunloungers and cushions - amongst the discarded ones on the unkempt terraces.
Although no food or drink was allowed in hotel (due to fears of insect infestation and no fridges) the owners dog bowl full of meat scraps was placed in the foyer entrance throughout the day - surely a health hazard! Tip - lower the drink and snack prices and the elderly man of 80 would not have been trying to bring a roll in for his lunch. Confiscated food and drink was left on the reception floor - is this not encouraging insects?

Bar prices 4.50 lira beer effes, 7 lira vodka or cider, alot cheaper elsewhere towards beach. Strict about bringing food and drink into hotel. Turkish night on tuesdays food not great but excellent entertainment.
Bit of a walk to the beach and dolphin square centre but dolmius bus only 1.50 lira, stops on the opposite side of the hotel and drops off rite outside for lazy people lol
Beach excellent!!! shallow for 100 metres and a barrier before u have gone too far lol
