Fifth time we have stayed at the Rose. Accommodation as good as ever. Arrived at seven in the morning, 10 minutes later there was a knock at the door - the night porter had brought us a cup of coffee each! What a nice surprise.
As usual we met a lot of people whom we have met before. Nice to bump into familiar faces. Anya and Hussein the owners were as friendly as ever. Many a time we were given free melon and cucumbers the latter were from their garden.
The cleanliness of the apartments were of a high standard. Each year during the winter season a few of the apartments are modernised each year.
I find it very strange that certain people have found the Rose to be unfriendly - the saying that says it takes two to tango is very appropriate in this instance.
There were a few new guests this year who were already arranging to book into the Rose for next year. This seems to sum up the Rose and its friendly owners.

stayed in quite a few apartments in turunc,but when we found the rose,we hit the jackpot,anya and hussain cant do enough for you,lovely people rooms very clean and pleasant the two girls who clean are lovely.been 3times going again may and october next year.

The best, friendliest, cleanest appartments i have evr stayed in. You are so well looked after and treated as one of the familiy. Nothing is too much trouble. Its so perfect. No complaints at all. I truely recommend it, you wont be disappointed. The great reviews speak for themselves. please dont be put off by the 2 negative ones because in my case and several other cases we have had a trouble free hol. I can almost say with certainty that you will return again! Its such a lovely quiet place in a great location with things to do and see if you want to but if not then its not rammed into your faces.

I have to agree with dabeale. We found the Rose very clean & well looked after, but if you hadn't been staying there since the year dot you were very much persona non grata! We had been to Turunc lots of times before, but had not stayed at Rose, and we certainly will not be going back to either!
Towels on sunbeds at dawn, strange looks if you actually left to go out or to the beach! The worst thing was despite booking our holiday a year ago, on arrival at 04.00hrs ,our room was not ready & we were put into a temporary room with a drippy tap & a rattley door!
Next morning we were given "our" apartment which was lovely. Next day, when getting out of bed, my husband returning from his early morning walk greeted me with the news that we were being moved again as they had disabled people coming in who needed a ground floor place. I have no problem with that but: A;they must have known this previously & B;I saw no disabled people coming in or out of our old rooms!! I will stop now or will go on forever! Turunc is turning into Iscmeler & has changed for worse.

Only street views, the host does'nt like you bringing in shopping wants you to buy from their bar, and will tell you off if you have a cup of tea from your room around the pool, the air conditioning is far too expensive as an extra.
You are constantly being watched as you come and go from the apartments, very uncomfortable.

My husband David and I are just back from The Rose Apts in Turunc and had a lovely time there. The apts are great, such a high standard of cleanliness,the best we have ever had. The two girls who cleaned the rooms were lovely as were the owners.The apts are descibed as basic but I dont know what more you could ask for. Turunc itslf is lovely , small but with plenty of eating places and bars. Just about everone we met there had been at least once if not many times before and by the time we left we said without a doubt we would be back next year. The Rose apts and Turunc - a fantastic combination. Enjoy!

we stayed in rose apartments last six years on the row.Its the best holiday a family can have.huseyin,aynur,ali and their daughter the best host in any holiday.we are giving raiting for rose apartments 100/10 .we love you all. Murat,Kim,Shauni and Leyla x x x x x

We stayed at the Rose Apts for two weeks in June 2008. Upon returning home we immediately rebooked for June 2009 independently. The rave reviews all these other people have given are well justified but you can get far better value by booking direct. Air con and safe are included if you miss out the tour operator which can save you £80 for a fortnight.
Also the tour operator (Thomas Cook) forgot to pick us up for our return home and Huseyin drove us to Marmaris to catch our bus. A better holiday cant be had anywhere and I have been many places abroad. Going again in 6 weeks and we cant wait.

the rose apartments is a really nice and quite set of apartments, the owners are vey friendly and always happy to help. turunc it self is also a great place very quite and not in your face unlike icmelar and marmaris. i had a great time away we only went for 1 week and this is not log enough ecause you don't get to see everything. turunc is a very welcoming place and the rose apartments is very clean the apartments are cleaned everyday. anyur and hussain are very polite and are very friendly the rose apartments are known throughout the population of turunc and nobody had to say anything bad about the apartments. the holiday was so relaxed and quite. you can book to go on boat trips and other excursions witch are really worth doing you get to see other parts of turkey which are also rather nice.

What a fantastic couple of weeks. The friendliest place I have ever stayed in. Anyur and Hussain were the best possible hosts who put themselves out to make all their guests feel part of one big happy family. The appartments were basic but had everything you could wish for in a holiday appartment. linnen was changed twice a week and the accommadation cleaned every day to a high standard. It was so nice just to relax by the pool, or have a meal from the bar. Needless to say that at the first opportunity we shall return for another visit. Praise where praise is due, what fantastic hosts

We (my husband and boys aged 9 and 12) have just come back from a wonderful holiday at the Rose Aparts. Hussein and Ida were fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for you. Apartment was lovely and clean, with fresh towels and bedding every other day. Great snack bar can recommend the Turkish breakfast! Lovely laid back village, with very friendly restaurateurs. Some great places to eat are: Pisces restaurant, left up the main road (a bit more pricey, but fantastic food), Fidan, Sinar, Han and for a bit of difference, the Chinese restaurant up the main road on the right. Tours that were good: Village Tour, Scuba diving, Mud bath - Marmaris Market a bit too busy for us, but worth a look for the experience. Beautiful mountain scenery all around. We will hopefully be going back !

Just got back from my first time to Turunc and the Rose apartments, well where do I begin?
The Rose Apartments:
When we first arrived, we were a bit surprised at the size of the room however it soon grew on us and we grew to love the Apartment. Ayna and Hussein are absolutely lovely and were willing to do almost anything for us, you really can't get nicer hosts. The whole area of the apartments are clean, clear and well maintained meaning that it looks so inviting and you feel safe within the walls. The food is delicious also, and reasonably cheap and worth the money if you want to get out of the midday sun.
Turunc:
After going to Marmaris last year which I loved, my Mum wanted to try a different resort so we chose Turunc. When i first heard about Turunc, i was a bit apprehensive as I expected a small shop and 1 or 2 bars that have to try and cater for all ages. How wrong was I? Turunc has a lot to offer and can cater for all ages. Whether you fancy a quiet meal overlooking the beach or you want to get a little bit more social then Turunc has it all. There are a few places that If you want a more Turkish experience then you should try, however as previously mentioned, it is quite English based. This i'm not complaining about as I'm a rather fussy eater but that is besides the point. The locals are pushy but don't let this put you off, they are EVERYWHERE!!!!! Whether its Turunc or Marmaris, they want to persuade you to try their restaurant, which is fair enough.I recommend The restaurants Sahin and Cinar, for the food is cheap and the company good.
Miscellaneous:
We paid alot of money to go on Thermal Therapy Departure. This was a complete waste of money! Its hugely expensive to go in the first place then when you do get there everything is very expensive also. The room we got given had no balcony, no window actually no natural openings which we were quite annoyed about as my mother gets claustrophobic at times. Also one of the shower doors would not close but luckily we managed to have a shower without flooding the bathroom.Not only this but we assumed we were to be pampered and we could just relax however there is only so much you can do before it all gets rather boring and a waste of time.Apart from the spa which we knew would cost us extra, we were lead to believe that everything else was free which it was not. Lunch and evening meal were included but as for pampering you had to serve yourself and the liquid refreshments were grotty Tea, coffee, milk or water.The only good thing about it was the Nile turtles. I DONT RECOMMEND IT!
Even though our last day was a bit disastrous we throughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to go back ASAP. I would write more but I'd be here all day. :)
