Hotel does not meet the standard of 5*. Rooms were adequate but did not have the luxury feel to them, as you would expect.
Hotel belongs to the small luxury hotels of the world group, in our opinion the hotel was tired looking and the rooms needed refurbishment.
The hotel is semi-isolated, transfer time from the airport is approx 2 hours. Ouranoupolis is approx 4 km from the hotel and can be reached a few times each day via hotel transport. No taxis work in the area so it is not possible to get around unless you hire a car.
Drinks and snacks are very expensive, £2.00 for a can of pop and £5.00 for a gin and tonic.
Entertainment is fairly basic, lobby bar has an entertainer who plays nightly, occasional theme nights are on offer, approx 2 -3 per month at peak time.
Beach area is lovely and the unique bed/umbrella system in operation works quite well!
Overall opinion the Hotel would be 3*+, food ok 5/10, rooms 6/10, location 5/10, staff 7/10. Value for money 5/10.
