Paris Marriott Hotel Champs-Elysees

My Mother & I stayed in an Executive Room March 1- 5 2005. I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was. I did read the reviews on tripadvisor prior to going. Frankly, I feel that some of the reviews are unjust. Most of the negative reviews are focused in on cost, etc. This hotel is like staying in the only hotel in Times Square & being around the corner from Park Avenue. You are paying for the location. Awful. Very bad experience.I don't know why but It smells as if something die on my room. Very disapointed compared to the price.

Everything was fantastic during our recent stay at the Marriott. The location is easily accessible to everything you want to see either on foot or via Metro just on the adjacent block. The bakery Paul a couple doors down is great to purchase pastry for breakfast and bring it back to the room. Also a Monoprix (supermarket) is also on the corner! The staff was very friendly. As for the concierge, if you do not want to spend a lot on restaurants do not ask them for recommendations b/c they only work with the most expensive restaurants.... more

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days, It was so lovely stay, the hotel is so nice and the staff are so kindly, the Restaurant so lovely and so nice service. The restaurant manager BASSEM was so nice and so kind he looking after us to be sure that we had a good meal and to be sure about the service. Realy so nice stay !!!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights at the beginning of December. The hotel is impressive in terms of architecture and interior. The location is good, right in the middle of the Champs-Elysees. I paid a special discounted group price and found the money well spent. However, I would not pay the full price. Staff is helpful, though I had to call two times for the chamber maids to clean my room.

I had high expectations for this hotel and they were meet AND exceeded. Rooms were spacious and housekeeping certainly looked after you. Just prior to leaving the room for our evening meal, my yougest daughter (3yrs) got chocolate on the duvet , on our return around 9.45pm the beds were turned down and the messy cover replaced. All the staff were attentive, friendly and great with the children. Location was perfect. If you're going to visit the Lovre and Notre-Dame, use the Metro to get there and walk back, this will save you getting... more

We stayed at the Marriott in Paris for the first time today, and would Definitely reccommend to anyone. We stayed at a lower class hotel for the first few days and the Marriott is definitely worth the extra money. They treated us like royalty. I was made to feel like an 0ld friend. The employees were Very helpfull and extra kind. We even made friends with the Pavillion Manager. We spent five wonderful days at this hotel. The small entrance to the hotel does not show the beauty and size of the interior. Our room was very large, (even more compared to European standards), the king size bed was like a cloud, with wonderful bedspread, sheets and pillows, and everything was in perfect order: the curtains, the furniture, the carpet. My husband and I stayed here in May 2005. I'm a Marriott Platinum member and we stayed 4 nights here partially on points. This was not my first time to visit Paris, but it was my first time to stay at this hotel. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed... The Paris Marriott Hotel Champs Elysees is a very beautiful, luxurious hotel in the centre of everything and right on the Champs Elysees – a 5-minute walk to the right to L’Arc de Triomphe, a 10-minute walk to the left to the Louvre, and a 20-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Restaurants and shops are plentiful and all around this hotel…although the Marriott dining room ‘Le Pavillon’ doesn’t measure up.
