After reading Mr K White's comments about how he found the condition of the apartment I decided to add my own comments.



We found our room to be quite clean and the maid came every day to wash the floor, change towels, make bed etc.



The barking dogs belonged to the local residents who were probably kept as guard dogs!



We found the guy with the bar to be very friendly and his menu was quite acceptable for only being a small pool side bar. He seemed to work on his own and don't you think he is entitled to a break!



We are returning to the apartment in August 2006.



Next time Mr K White book a 5 star hotel.

Just got back from the Miralvor apartments.


Booked two rooms one with a child, on arrival one sofa bed was a disgrace and broke and the sofa beds were in a very poor state.


We arrived on Monday and had to complain on Friday that the towels in both rooms hadn’t been changed since arrival, this was done the same day only and not again for the remainder.


Dogs bark all night around and found the apartments very noisy indeed. Pool was fine and clean but the coffee bar was often closed and had limited snacks to sell if they had bread.


On reflection would not go back to these apartments but do recommend Alvor as a safe place with great beaches.
