Confortel Beach Club Apartments Reviews
" Not All Inclusive "
Submitted By: Jean Hayesall you get for All inclusive is free soft drinks and tea & Coffee and snacks i.e biscuits and pastries and pizza round the pool, so when restaurant closes at 9.30pm you have to pay hotel prices which isn't cheap 10euros for two Vodka and Lemonades.
Advice: Dont go All Inclusive
Activities: Town of Mao and Fornells are really beautiful and not far away by bus
Good for: Beach

" Wonderfully relaxing "
Submitted By: icer85Never been to Menorca before, chose Son Parc Beach club for the Beach!! Was not dissapointed, fantastic beach and lovely sand.
Charges for parasols & loungers on the beach a bit steep at 15Euros but that was for the whole day and covered 2 loungers and 1 parasol (you could buy your own parasol and beach mats for about 13Euros).
Food in restaurant (overlooking the beach) was great, and reasonably priced compared to local bars and eateries.
Would reccomend:
Pinomar restaurant down the hill, and also, the chinese in the strip as well as most of the others in the strip.
the buses were great and always on time, would reccomend visits to Mahon (Mao), Cituadella, and a trip up to Torro (highest point on island). Fornells is great but only worth half a day visit.
Only one slight negative, ANTS!!! did get them cleared a couple of times, but worth taking your own ant powder to ensure they are not a problem.
Definitely will go back next year.
Advice: Well worth a visit, wont be dissapointed
Activities: Pinomar restaraunt, and visit to Torro - highest point on island

I would approve this hotel to people who want a relaxing hassle free holiday. For families with young kids or couples who want to be together and can amuse each other.
Advice: We always get a hire car on hols but we did not leave the hotel all week and loved it.

" We booked with direct holidays and... "
Submitted By: Mr A SeatonThe apartments were clean and spacious but perhaps a little tired. There is 24 hour reception which was useful when my little boy was sick in the night. The apartments are right on the seafront with direct (mountain goat) access to the beach and the small shop and restaurant area is a short walk away. The cafe at the apartments does better food than most of these and has a sea view and is cheaper.
Direct holidays provided their own kids clubs which were better than most of the other major operators that we have been with. Because the beach club is right on the beach away from the trees in the centre of son parc there are fewer mosquitoes. It has laundry facilities a large pool area tennis courts and its own entertainment team.
I would book with direct holidays again and even go back to the same apartments

I was glad I'd read cross section of reviews before booking, enabling me to form a realistic guess about what was in store for us at this resort.
Absolutely NOT suitable unless you are fit and able. Many steps down to the lovely beach and steep paths within the resort.
We didn't use the pool, tennis courts or gym but they all looked good enough.
Reception staff and cleaning staff good.
The accommodation was clean, basic and reasonably comfortable. During hotter months the lack of air-conditioning would probably make things much less comfortable.Wardrobe needs ventilation.
The location was fabulous. Our balcony looked out directly onto Son Saura bay and the lovely sunsets (1 or 2 spectacular lightning displays too).
So glad we chose self-catering after looking in at the buffet. Take good bottle opener, tea towels, a pinch or two of your favourite herbs etc, teabags.
Use bottled water for tea.
We ate once at the bar cafe and that was enough. The burger and chips were inedible, the pizza not much better. Very over priced for poor quality. Coffee OK. Staff were polite.
Advice: Pinomar best local retaurant. Good ommelette baguette at cafe other side of beach. BJ's pub friendly
Activities: Es Mercadal for bakery, supermarket, tapas bars, restaurants. Pregonda if you have a car.
