Bumped - Reservations don't mean anything!
When we arrived at Natura Park on Jan 18 for our "confirmed" one week stay we were told they were overbooked and we were being bumped for one night. They sent us to Sunscape which was not expecting us; we were not on the list of 12-18 people being bumped that day! Sunscape found us a room (with water running out of the bathroom wall). The next day we were fortunate to have the Air Canada Vacations rep drive us back to Natura Park because the other people who had been bumped waited an hour for the promised transportation and finally paid... more
Beautiful
What a beautiful place. Natural grounds. It was such a relaxing vacations. 4Star. Been to other all inclusives and this one was pretty good. More relaxing than partying. It's not the place to go if you just want to party. The only thing I had read from some-one that they were bumped to another hotel when they arrived. I figured it would never happen to me. Well it did to a whole group of us. It was a bit of an inconvenience. We had to be sent to a hotel down the road which was a 5 Star (Sunscape) very nice. Natura Park was to send us a taxi... more
Awesome Weather
My husband and I stayed at the Natura Park for our Honeymoon and for the most part we loved it.Myself I liked how clean everything was and the staff was very polite and helpful.Being a Vegan I am not the best person to ask how the food was, the was lots of fruit and breads (basically what I lived off of) my husband for the most part enjoyed the meals. He especially like the A La Catre restaurants (we chose la Gondola (my favorite) and Media Luna.) The only thing he didn't like was that there was only 1 buffet restaurant for breakfast and... more
Amazing Trip and Beautiful Surroundings
Let me start by saying that I don't really understand why some people were complaining about this resort. I read trip advisor and kept in mind that some people aren't happy unless they're being waited on hand and foot while on vacation. After experiencing Natura Park, I believe this to be the case of those people who were complaining. The rooms were of average size that you would find at any typical hotel you stayed at with a balcony for each room. However, you don't spend all your time in your room while you're at a beach resort such as... more
Great place to stay
Natura Park Spa and Hotel is a wonderful place for someone looking just to veg out, enjoy the sun and relax, relax, relax, I've been there two times already and when I save up more money I will likely go back again. I'm pretty fussy about traveling as to where I stay and accomidations and room, etc. This place met all that I wanted except for just one small problem and that I don't speak spanish, but managed to get along and the other problem was the beef. I found their beef very hard to chew and therefore was dissaponited about that only. The... more
The perfect tanning weather
We had great beach weather, nice breeze coming off the ocean the entire week. I would consider the hotel a 3 or 4 rating. Two of our mornings we didn't have hot water for the shower, it wasn't fixed till the after 2:00 pm. The rooms were clean, a bit of a musty smell however. A tip from the maid, as she had left a piece of paper, to trip the circuit where the key is to be placed, on the wall at door of the room, if your key is not in this cubby slot, nothing works, no air conditioning, no lights so it helped us by leaving that paper in the... more
Wonderful week at Natura Park Nov 9-16, 2003
Just returned from a fabulous week at Natura Park. It rained quite a bit but still a great week. The staff is very friendly and courteous and everything we asked for we got. We were bumped the first night due to the Dominican Holiday to Sunscape which is 2 hotels away. It was nice to see another hotel and experience the difference. Sunscape did not require reservations for their Italian Restaurant so we were able to have a great meal. The next day Natura Park paid for the cab from Sunscape as they said they would, even though hotel was close... more
Nature-friendly resort
In August of 3003, my husband and I, two of our adult children, and my sister spent one week at Natura Park Resort and Spa in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic). We had a wonderful time, and we're writing this review to share some of our experiences with others. We've stayed at eight other all-inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean, and we would have to say that this was one of our best vacations overall. The grounds at Natura Park are its very best asset; they are immaculately maintained and aethestically very beautiful. <br... more
go at your own risk!
To start with - it was my third trip to DR this year so I was not expecting anything luxurious knowing that 5 stars are not 5 stars in DR. I have chosen Natura Park based on recommendations of a guest service person from a resort in Juan Dolio. So I went there hoping for a nice, fun, relaxing time, which I had previously this year in Coral Hamaca in Boca Chica and Barcelo Capella in Juan Dolio. Well, well, well ... It started with the 'announcement' that they have to move me to another resort because Natura Park was overbooked. The following... more
Good place in Punta Cana
I've spent 8 days in Natura Park Resort in May of 2003.Price: $850 all inclusive from NYC booked via Expedia.com.Hotel: definitely not 5 star but I would say 4 star. The hotels is located right on the beach but you have to realize that there are about 15 building at the resort. Some of them(#12, 13) are located pretty far away from the beach(about 10-15 minutes walk). Other buildings(#1,2, 3,4) are located right near the beach and the swimming pool but it would take you about 10 minutes to walk from these building towards the main... more
