Three Corners St George Hotel
Ideally placed close to both the beach and the centre of Sharm El Sheikh, the Saint George Three Corners Hotel offers a warm welcome to couples and families alike. Relax by the pool, stroll down to the marina, or take part in some of the daily activities organised by the hotel's animation team. In the evenings a shuttle bus runs down to Na'ama Bay if you feel like checking out the local nightlife.

Realistically a 2/3 star not 4 star but then you get what you pay for and it was good value.
Room clean if a little tired looking with a shower slider rail that was broken. Food was fine, with a good choice, lots of pasta, very sweet cakes. OK, it is buffet style and you need to get in early to avoid the rush, but if you are on holiday, who cares. Food hygiene rules followed with disposable gloves used by staff serving food or cooking food on barbeque and anti-bacterial gel dispensers outside. If people got ill, it was more likely too much booze, sun, too little water or not washing their hands after handling paper money. Drinks are in small vending size cups outside or from the bars (drinks with meals are in glasss) so if that bothers you, take bigger ones with you. 2 minutes after you get a drink, it is getting warm so small disposable cups make sense (and don't get part washed when busy). If you are polite and friendly with the staff, you get the same in return. Some more friendly and genuine than than others, just like everywhere else! In the main, they work hard for not much (in our terms) and are not always appreciated by the guests. I agree with other gripes about the ice-cream rule which is just penny pinching. Entertainment was poor, evenings could be dull and yes, the 'water treatment' plant was noisy. Take games, cards, mp3 players, portable dvd, portable games consoles, or have a drink, relax and find someone to talk to. Pools good and well supervised. Not enough sun beds and people up at 6.30 to get beds where they wanted them. Animation team could do with some training and some better routines.
Anything booked through the hotel costs you approx. double what you could arrange direct. Just accept that you are in a country where arranging anything for someone else means a 'surcharge', and that in real terms it is a few pounds for someone else sorting things out plus a bit for the hotel. A hotel taxi for 30LE, or walk over the road and get a normal one for 15LE (that's £3 against £1.50). Trip around local area is ok but really just a shop window for possible further excursions from the hotel. Fantasia definitely worth a visit for the show, and plan to stay after the show to see the belly dancing and mix with the locals so book a taxi for at least an hour after the show finishes. Aqua Park ok if a little dangerous (health and safety rules not quite the same for slides as at home) and don't take bottled water as they take it off you at the entrance (you get it back when you leave) and like most of the trips, would be cheaper if booked direct rather than through the hotel. Sunset cruise too short (went all of about a mile from the marina around a corner to the next bay!), Bedouin Night not much more than a bit of a dance show and a buffet in a made up camp just past a pipeline at the base of the hills (don't go expecting Bedouins!), a day snorkelling on a boat was absolutely brilliant for £30 but no return taxi arranged so had to wait 45 minutes after everyone else left before someone turned up to take us back to hotel (booked with Hammerhead who are in hotel). Probably just a mistake and after a lovely day on the boat (called Walila) didn't really spoil the day.
Sister hotel beach small but right on the edge of the reef so swimming is like being in a fish tank. Get more hassle here from a variety of people pushing massages, hair braiding, etc. but just be polite and say no. Costs 40LE to get in and heard several people complain when they got there despite it being clearly explained on the first day. You are from a different hotel so you have to pay. Get over it. If all inclusive you can eat here at lunchtime and till get drinks from beach bar, but choice is smaller.
Would go back to Sharm but not the St George just because it is too far away from anywhere else (shops, entertainment, beach, etc.) not because we didn't enjoy being there. If you just want to relax in the sun and not spend too much money, you could do a lot worse and several people we met had been there before.

Firstly the hotel was great, pool and daytime activities will keep the boredom away. Staff are very helpful and the animation team made every day lots of fun. At night there was very little to do. Due to the shows being outdoors the entertainment finished at 11 o'clock even though it didnt start till 9.30 and the bars had no music so the atmosphere was non existent after 11. Very boring at night time, especially with a teenage son. Was in bed most nights at 11.30. This was unfortuntate as aside from the entertainment we had a great time! The apartments were very nice and the beds were massive. The house keepers made sure the rooms were spotless and made lovely animals out the towels. Honestly they looked fantastic and the kids thought they were great too. The choice's in the restaraunts made sure we ate there 12 nights out of 14. Plenty of variety and the the desserts are awesome. If its not for you then both McDonalds and Pizza Hut both deliver to the hotel! Around the hotel is still under construction so the nearest nightlife is in Naama Bay, the bars are fine but the shopkeepers are a pain and wont take no for an answer. Constant hassle.
Would return to this hotel only if the night time entertainment was better!!

St George Three Corners was a fabulous hotel, staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you ! Would highly recommend this hotel to families especially with young children. A nice quiet resort, but mind and take some playing cards or games at nite cause the entertainment ain't much cop, although everyone tries really to hard to make it good ! Food is really nice and had no problems at any meal time out of 2 weeks trying to please a 76 year old, a 11 year old and a fussy 5 year old. The only couple of down points were the mad rush at 7 am in the morning to get sunbeds and the lack of local shops to "pop" down to, but saying all that would have no hesitation in re-booking this hotel and really loved Sharm El Sheikh !

Overalll, not bad, but this is definately NOT a All Inclusive hotel, they want money off you for the chips from their OWN beach, have to pay for Ice creams unless the kids can wait till 3 in the afternoon, that stops at 5pm (2 hours per day) you have to pay for their Al la carte restraunt, and if you wanted freshly squeezed orange juice, there was also a charge fot that, apart from that, the place was spacious, clean, food was ok, some of the staff looked as though their dog had just died, but the majoritry were fine,
Recommend, Quad bikes, go at sunset, amazing,... Bedouin night,...Aqua Park, (the kids will love it,) Hotel night time entertainment, absolutly awful, nothing at all to do for teenagers, Naama Bay will be great once the authorities clamp down on the people hasseling you, especially if you have got kids with you, Overall, St Georges isn't a bad hotel, but I wouldn't go back, It didn't impress me that much.

when we first got to the hotel it looked really big, as we got off the bus the people at the hotel came out and got our luggage and carried it to our rooms, our rooms were very clean and spacious, our cleaner was called esam he was great he cleaned our room every day and tidy'd up for us as we were rather messy ps nothing eva went missing, the food was ok for the first few nights i loved it then i got board wit it, the was a fish and meat restraunt above the hotel, and because we had gone all inclusive the drinks fell under the all inclusive, and you got some money off because we were all inclusive, we paid 19 english pounds for 2 starters 2 main course ( they were massive courses) and 2 puddings, the food in there was really really good you didnt have to call them over for a drink cos they would bring you over a drink as soon as they see the glass half full, the meal was served with loads of bread and garlic pitta breads in a basket on the side it was lovely, the staff are so willing to help we went to the spa and had a massage and that, the spa is quite expensive but worth every penny. we are going to go back soon, we had lots of trips out snorkelling around ras mohammed national park was gorgeous the water is perfect blue, cairo the pyrimids were amazing we got taken to a 5* hotel for a buffet which was all included some amazing sights, dolphinella which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel if you do anything go there we watched a show and it was really amazing, we had the chance to swim with them and we didnt which i regret, we went to fantasia which was a horse aeorbits that was really good it was £15 pound per person and worth every penny included in that night was a mococcan meal where this man spun on his feet the whole time very impressive we were takings bets that he would fall over when he stopped however he didnt lol this must be the best hotel with the most friendly hotel in egypt even the pool staff were great they get you involed inwater aerobicts and sports and it's such a laugh they mess around and splash you when your sun bathing its such a good holiday that i wanna go bakc and i would not go to another hotel

A word of caution, all the reviews you see here and on trip advisor do not all related to the St George Three Corners directly. This hotel is part of a group and has two hotels in sharm plus some bungalows down on the beach (these bungalows are nowhere near the hotels; they are at least a bus ride away. For some reason all the reviews appear to be lumped together so be careful what you read and believe. Although most appear positive you have to keep this in mind, the hotel I stayed at the St George had over 2000 rooms and their other hotel was far bigger so the reviews are a drop in the ocean.
So the Three Corners, classed as 4 star in Egypt but 2-3 star would be a better UK description. The hotel appears to be clean but in the two weeks we spent here we did not see any public areas being cleaned so either they were very discrete which I prefer to believe or it did not happen.
A large majority of the staff are very pleasant and if you tip them (which need not be a lot) they will really look after you. Ie serve you first when there a queue, put your towels out for you etc.
Food,,,,,, my wife found it ok just boring but me and the kids thought it was total crap, not only was there very little choice form one day to the next ie beef in gravy and beef in gravy and beef in gravy but it was never hot and after two weeks it gets you down. I think it’s done on purpose because they have their own al la carte restaurant directly above the all inclusive dinning room but you have to pay in there, it is cheap about £9 for a t bone steak but none the less you are paying.
As for all inclusive it’s a bit of a joke, you get all your drinks in plastic party cups. You know the ones that hold quarter of a pint and are thrown away after a picnic. They even have a rule one drink at a time but luckily they did not seem to be too strict on that. You could get a half pint glass in the lobby bar if you were lucky but as soon as they ran out you were back to plastic. Beer in the local shops worked out at 70p a litre but in the hotel you only got a plastic cup full, that’s really tight if you as me. They claim it’s for safety and to stop in getting warm but I‘ve done all inclusive all round the world and never heard anything like it. Yea you often get plastic half glasses near the pool but never party cups. Ice cream at the St George is another story you can only get it if you a kid and between the times of 3-5, believe me they really don’t like giving it out. My son is 14 and we had a right fight whenever he asked for ice-cream, on one occasion the bar man gave him a beer instead.
The hotel has its own entertainment team that does try to entertain you when they are not to busy chatting up the young girls or sneaking a crafty fag in the toilets. However in the evening there is nothing to do except go out the hotel or sit at the bar drinking out of your party cup. It is difficult to occupy young kids.
The hotel also has it own doctors surgery which was luck for us since I ended up with acute gastroenteritis and need a drip and injections. My wife was also diagnosed with salmonella and both the kids had the trots all the time we were there. In addition there are mosquitoes by the thousand, this may have something to do with it being across the road from a water treatment plant which at all different times of the day and night starts up the machine that sounds just like a jet engine on full thrust. The mosquito according to our tour rep are fussy though and only bite women which may sound a bit of a joke but when my wife received more than 40 bites in a couple of days and had to have injections , tablets and cream to calm them down it isn’t very funny.
By the way they do still bite men but yes it was mainly women, some of the sights I saw did looked really painful.
So all in all I would never go back to St George Three Corners even if it was free because my experience was so bad. I have told it how it is and leave it up to you to decide whether to go or not but you have been warned.

what can i say that hasn't been said?
fantastic place. looks great, fantastic staff.
we were there jun/july 2008. from start to finish the staff couldn't do enough.
check-in was simple, the bellboys took the cases to the room (and didn't expect a tip btw) then within 2 minutes our late meals (we arrived after dinner was finished) arrived and were placed on the table for us (again they didn't expect a tip) room was great. clean and nicely arranged with a massive bed.
Drink: the usual sakkara beer :) and very nice it was too. spirits (vodka, gin, rum, whisky) and cocktails as well as red, white and rose wines.
Food: was very nice but did get a bit "samey" after the first week. desserts were wonderful if you like the egyptian idea that desserts need to be sticky to taste right :)
staff: special thanks go to fady in the bar (called me taffy the entire 2 weeks) michael the guest relations manager (even though he tried to steal the missus and didn't even offer some camels in exchange) adel for mixing some great cocktails and melad for keeping his cool as midnight approached. the service at the beach bar and restaurant was also fantastic and robert would have a great glass of pepsi waiting for you as you approached. not once did anyone hang around expecting a tip (so i left them in the tip boxes around the place) and finally thanks to afad for being the perfect cleaner. his towel sculptures were wonderful and we never had the same one twice

My husband and I were at the st george for our 25th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have picked anywhere better. The room was nice and clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also very good. On the 2nd April which was our actual anniversary when we returned to our room it had been decorated with rose petals lovely decorations on the bed made from the towels and a fabulous cake. There was also a card from the Thomas Cook rep. We had a fantastic time. The free bus into Naama bay was excellent. We would definately recommend the Hotel and will be returning.
