This was our second stay at the Taj Holiday village hotel and would go back again. The room have been renovated in the past year or so and are spacious and airy.
We had a sea view from the room and balcony which was lovely as not too many rooms which are situated in cottage style buildings have the pleasure of a sea view. But the garden views are also lovely. The staff make you feel welcome and special and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. The maid service is excellent.
The grounds are vast and beautiful and much more appealing than the sister hotel the Fort Aguada.
The buffet breakfast has improved considerably this year as I believe they do try to accommodate all nationalities.
This was our third visit to Candolim and each year it gets busier but is still much quieter than Calangute & Baga and plenty of shacks on the beach and numerous restaurants and bars in the resort.
