Senhor Angelo Resort

Well what can I say about goa? Stayed at the Senyor Angelo for 3 weeks and found the hotel ok, staff very nice and the rooms are cleaned every day as long as you leave your key.
If you are looking for winter sun, wow, this is the place, food and drink is dirt cheap - it’s very hard to spend your money.
That’s the good points, now for the bad. Taxi sellers are on every street corner, they will never let you pass them without shouting ‘taxi’ nonstop. Sellers won’t let ‘up come into my shop’ every second. Calangute is a tip. I’ve been to third world before but never seen anything like this before - beggars are out day and night.
Calangute beach is a tip - sellers walking you up trying to sell you rubbish nonstop. Stayed around the pool side for almost 2 weeks out of 3 because of this.
So that’s it, you have to make your own mind up. If you don’t mind the bad points and you just want a cheap holiday then it’s the place to go.
If you want to relax then this is not the place to go.
Seen Goa but won’t be going back.

Do not trust the security boxes as members of staff have duplicate keys and money goes missing

Myself and my friend booked to stay here as a last minute holiday. We had a great time.
The rooms are basic but clean, room service everyday. Food was nice and little john behind the bar was very nice and helpful. He told us where to go and what to see, the location is great!
The beach is just down the road, and the town itself is only 5 minutes through a little village. The pool is nice.
We have booked to go back there January 08, can’t wait.
Nearly all the guests there had stayed here before! We ended up at the blue coconut shack every night, great place, where Raj and Jack go out of their way to help.
