Basic hotel. Room small but was perfectly clean. Staff were nice but didn't speak much English. Air conditioning is £3 a day but well worth it.
Breakfast was Turkish (bread, eggs, cucumber, olives, tomato and cheese) - very little choice - eg. only coffee to drink - not even water! Anything else was extra. Dinner for the half-board people looked even worse. Local restaurants offer plenty of choice for eating out but be aware that it is expensive ie. UK prices.
Pool was nice but rather crowded.
All in all our stay was comfortable. The Miletos is very well located - right next to shops, restaurants, supermarket and beach without being noisy.
However, we didn't really like the area - lots of hassle from local sellers etc, beaches littered and more expensive than we expected.
Also, lots of day trips on offer (not from the hotel) - these are not worth the money and involve a lot of hard selling of carpets, ceramics etc. Avoid Rep Tours - incorrect trip descriptions, unreliable pickups and poor tour guide.
Get a Turkish bath - very nice!

" First time to Turkey. The hotel was... "

First time to Turkey. The hotel was very basis and the room was not really big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenage children. However the staff were happy to accomodate our request for another room. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. I have read on some reviews rooms were not cleaned, this maybe because people don't leave their room key at reception when they go out during the day. We had no problem with the cleaning of our room and the cleaner would only go to the room once the key was left at reception. All the cleaners would aviod disturbing guest whilst they were in their room. We stayed on a half board basis, but unless you like turkish food and eating basically the same thing every night, i would not recommend H/B. Overall this is a great hotel with a very friendly atmosphere. It is within easy reach of the shopping centre and beach. Outstanding value for money.

Have just returned from our holiday, super time, staff very friendly and helpful, towels changed everyday, breakfast was the usual turkish breakfast disappointed to see no juice supplied to anyone at breakfast so people were paying for drinks for children to have with there meal.
The room was very basic also very small, would suggest a chest of drawers in the room for somewhere to put clothes. There was a wardrobe built in but not big enough to put clothes away,Everything else was great.

" I have travelled to many countries... "

I have travelled to many countries and stayed in many different hotels/apartments but Hotel Miletos beats them all. The staff definitely made the holiday. They were charming and hospitable. They all went out of their way to help us - whatever our problem - nothing would deter them. The cleaning was second to none - with clean sheets every day along with towels decoratively arranged in the room on our return. The manager took time to speak to all of his customers and even ate the same food as us at the same time.
The main waiter and waitress in the hotel would smile all the time attempting to teach us Turkish in return for them wanting to speak and better their English. The bar staff kept the bar open all hours until we went to bed. On our last night there they even stayed up until 3:00 in the morning to bid us a fond farewell.
I do not usually return to a hotel, as I prefer to try different places. However this was my very first holiday when I actually returned feeling refreshed and truly rested.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in September and couldn’t fault the hotel.
Our room was cleaned every day, with clean towels daily. Staff lovely and friendly. We are now booking for next year.
Always plenty of breakfast for you, even if you were late going down in morning.
All in all a great hotel to stay in.

" Very nice typical Turkish breakfast... "
Submitted By: Ms S Crook
Very nice typical Turkish breakfast was served each morning. Lift worked as we were on the 5th floor I was glad of this! Rooms very basic but ok. Some staff at the reception and bar couldn't understand a word of English other than beer but they usually got someone who did who were very pleasant.
The only problem we had was the room was not cleaned or new towels put in the whole week we were there. Which I suppose is ok but when they don’t want you to put toilet paper down the toilet it wasn't very hygienic.
I emptied it daily instead. Pool was nice although it is marble around the pool and bar area and it is lethal when it’s wet. So be warned if you’re not too steady on your feet.

Stayed here on numerous occasions and would rate this hotel the friendliest and cleanest in Altinkum. Towels and bed linen are changed every day and the rooms and balcony cleaned, dusted and mopped daily as well.
The hotel itself is run by a family, who all work together from the owner Mr. Tuntas to the cleaners who all do their bit to make your stay 100% enjoyable. The hotel has a very large pool and a kiddies pool adjacent. With plenty of free sun beds loungers and seats. They provide a-la-carte meals if required and the snack bar provide cracking meals during the day at very reasonable prices.
Overall I rate this hotel 100% and look forward to returning in September this year.

The hotel was very basic , rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bedding every other day.
The breakfasts were typical Turkish with bread , cheese, olives, boiled eggs, salad and coffee or tea to choose from.
The pool was a good size but was very deep with no shallow end. There was also a children’s paddling pool. This was popular as non residents often used the pool and sunbeds. The pool bar was good with friendly staff which includes sali who made all our family welcome.
Snacks that were served at the bar were very good also.
Really glad we paid for aircon as we holidayed in late July this was essential.
The resort was great we made friends with staff from the sea star restaurant fez and Michael and also the sultans and kings restaurant a great place to have a meal or a drink over looking the sea with great staff.
Would love to go back next year.

The hotel staff were treaded us terrible as we were young, as we once got in late from a night out and had to wait for an hour for a member of staff to let us in.
The breakfast was very basic and not worth getting up for.
I would never stay there again.
