Visit To Heaven
from Holiday015
This was our second trip to Manali in six months and also are second stay at Mahindra Snowpeaks. We had obviously tried the property before and therefore returned to stay again. This is another Gold Crown property from Mahindra. It may not be as good as Munar or Binsar, however it is probably the best in Manali. The property is located in a quite area of old Manali and surprisingly close to the shopping street of Manali. It is close to all important sightseeing points and restaurants. Old Manali is located across the bridge from New Manali. Roads leading to Solang Valley and Rothang Pass are also located close to this hotel. The views of the snow clad mountains from this Hotel are breathtaking; one can spend the entire day in one’s room staring at the valley and the snow mountains. Now about the property, the hotel has 3 category of rooms viz. Studio (2-3 people), 1 bedroom (4 adults), and 2 bedroom (4-5 adults). The 1 bedroom and the 2 bedrooms are fantastic providing a lot of space for 3-5 adults. The rooms are also fitted with semi-kitchens to help you warm your food. My personal favorite is the 2 bedroom which is like a duplet apartment giving you that cottage feeling. You can have a family of 4 adults with children stay in one 2 bedroom apartment rather than spending on 2 different rooms as is the case with majority of the hotels. The hotel has various activities for the children and also has a semi-equipped gym which again has the views of the Snow Mountains. All in all the room interiors and the hotel location could be rated in the '4 star' category. The lobby and the restaurant needs to be refurbished to meet the class of its rooms, which I believe is already planned. The only downer is the food, which is more like the traditional Indian heavy cuisine with loads of oil and less of authentic taste. However, restaurants like Johnson’s cafe/lodge and shere-punjab are only 2kms away. As we stayed for 2 weeks in 2 visits, this gave us sufficient time to survey the other properties in and around Manali for comparison purposes. We visited the Holiday Inn and Solang Valley Resorts. Believe me, Solang Valley resorts is extremely hyped, the hotel has the best location in Manali, however the rooms and interiors are disappointing for the price charged. I mean with INR 6000-8000/night I could check into the Oberoi Cecil in Shimla. The hotel has recent acquired the ITC tag, however it does not live up to the brand, further the rooms are small and the toilets are pathetically done up. They are only charging you for the location which is also located 14kms away from Manali. Holiday Day Inn in my opinion needs to change its name and category, it’s probably a 3 star categorized as a 5 star. On the whole, Mahindra Snowpeaks in value for money. The only downside is that incase you are not a RCI or Club Mahindra member, you may need to try hard to get a booking. Try calling the hotel directly. Good Luck and enjoy your stay!!
Enjoyed the view

Club Mahindra SnowPeaks at Manali is a place from where you get to see the mountains right out of your window in a close range. The view from your room is what makes this place so ideal. This resort's overall rating is one step down from ClubMahindra's other resorts in other places. Still, the rooms are quite spacious and the one-bedroom unit is a duplex one and hence the feel of the whole unit is very enjoyable. Kids love going up and down the rooms. The food is also not at par with other ClubMahindra resorts but still tasty. The resort does not cover a large area and is also without a swimming pool. Overall the experience at the resort is a very satisfying and enjoyable one.

Switzerland in India
from PraksMumbai
Manali is certainly the Switzerland in India. Snowcapped mountains, abundant apple orchards and pine forests with the beautiful weather make it certainly one of the best places in India for a holiday. Club Mahindra Snowpeaks is located a little away from the hustle-bustle of the town though not very far off also (abt 4 kms) and is overall a great place for a family holiday or a honeymoon. Every room has a great view to the Himalayan snowpeaks. Good service and excellent food quality are the key aspects that differentiate this hotel from others in Manali. Fun Zone is an initiative wherein a holiday is made memorable for all (from a 1 yr baby to a 70 yr young) Overall awesome experience
romantic getaway

Club Mahindra snow peaks is surrounded by the mighty Himalayas. One can ride on horse back to scan the mountains. I stayed here for four nights. At the end of a ten day road trip through Himachal, it made for a perfect ending to a great holiday. The design and architecture of the building is beautiful, something very unique and very special. The grounds too are beautifully laid out. I loved the style, furniture and character of the room. We ate in the resort and both the service and the food were good. I found this reasonably good value. We had breakfast from the coffee shop and again this was fine. The outside bar area is a lovely atmospheric spot to relax at any time of the day, but especially the evening when fires were lit, which helped create some atmosphere. Club Mahindra Snowpeaks Manali Hotel staff were not outstanding, but were efficient and courteous. It’s not cheap, but I thought it worth every cent and would return to Club Mahindra Manali Hotel to stay here again
Fews Days in Manali
from Monodip
We are newly married couple.Last November,we got a free 2nts and 3 days holiday voucher from Club Mahindra. We had the options of choosing from their properties of Goa,Kerela,Rajasthan,Manali and other tourist places. We chose Manali,as we really wanted to be there. The moment we arrived at Club Mahindra Snow Peaks,Manali,we had a great time. They really took good care of us.But we found the food at their restaurants are really costly, but we had no other choice but to surrender as the property is far away situated from the main town.Nonetheless,it was a good choice and the view of snow clad mountains are really awesome, which we have enjoyed from our room.Go ahead and book this hotel !!!

We stayed at club mahindra Manali in month of Feb. Its a nice resort. The rooms are big and spacious. Food is ok. Not really bad and not really that good. Staff at resort, like all mahindra property are very very cooperative. They go out of their way to make guest feel comfortable. I liked the resort and would recommend to others.
A place with great views
from Picks_My
We (family of three - with 8 yr old kid) stayed at this hotel for three days couple of weeks back. This was near end of winters at Manali. The hotel has probably one f the best views of the surrounding valleys. A great place to wind out and relax. Rooms were very clean, and equipped with all modern amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers many activities to keep everybody occupied. More details about hotel are available at: http://www.clubmahindra.com/res_manali_home.asp

We have recently returned from Goa, Club Mahindra. Whilst we enjoyed some aspects of the holiday, some other parts were very bad. Most people got the dreaded Delhi Belly, some to an extent that the doctor had to be called. The beach shacks whilst very cheap. Are an... more
