The hotel was fantastic set in a beautiful resort. The staff could not do enough for you, so friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept spotless and bedding changed daily. All inclusive package including free bar in room which was kept topped up daily. The food was out of this world plently of choice daily and themed nights if you wanted. The entertainment was excellent. We were waited on hand and foot. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can here hopefully for our wedding. This hotel should be down as five star.Well done to everyone there for making our stay the best ever.

We stayed here as part of the Virgin package Kruger, Cape Town and Mauritius.
This was a three star hotel with five star services. Set on an idyllic beach on a reef, it was paradise.
The hotel needs updating, but the food and service were second to none. Mauritians are so friendly and eager to please.
Being on the east side of the coast it was breezy, which was fantastic because it was so hot!
Bring plenty of sun cream, the sun is very strong.

This was our fourth visit to Silver Beach and each time it gets better. The food is buffet breakfast and lunch with snacks and cake in afternoon al-a-carte 5 nights with 2 nights buffet.
There are plenty of sunbeds and beach towels, but most of all the staff are superb and bring you drinks on beach or grassed area. There is entertainment every night except Sunday. The hotel is a 3star but the staff make it a 5star

We spent 11 nights here and found the food and wine excellent. However, the entertainment was poor, the sun-beds were very tired and un-comfortable, and not good if you like to read. They are sturdy and can't change position, and for that reason alone I wouldn't return.
As a previous review stated, as there is only one main room, you are very limited where to go as there isn't anywhere else to go!
Staff very friendly, room was kept very clean.
