Our first time travelling with Emirates they were excellent no delays and good service. The positive aspects of the resort lie in the beauty of their surroundings and the attentive and friendly staff who just can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. A scenic and... more

Beautiful hotel and facilities. Absolutely faultless service from all staff/restaurants etc. It has lovely little private beaches. Only fault with resort is that if you stay inside the complex you could be anywhere. Prices for drinks are extortionate! But complimentary... more

Out of this world
We stayed at Le Touessrok for our honeymoon for two weeks in September 2005. The hotel was amazing - my wife and I have stayed in some pretty smart hotels in locations around the world but this topped the lot. Rooms were great, we had a junior suite on the island - worth it for the bathrooms featuring the divine bath and his and hers sinks (which were apparently not standard in the deluxe rooms). Service and food was excellent, we tried all three restauarnts and could find nothing at fault with any of them. The only slight... more
fantastic!
Took our 2 and 5 year old for 2 weeks of fun in the sun. The best family holiday we've had and we've had a few! The service was the best we've ever had; the attention to detail was phenomenal and the icing on the cake was the Kids club! We had the same babysitter every evening (unlike The One and only Royal Mirage where we gave up after 2 days because there was no consistency) The kids were happy and familiar with her and my husband and I could have a relaxed meal together. The activities for the kids was superb ...crabhunting,pool... more
Le Touessrok to die for!
This hotel is simply to die for the service is excellent, the staff are fantastice weather superb and the other guests very interesting (especially Gordon who usually stays at the Sandy Lane in Barbados). Overall can't recommend highly enough.
Up among the very best!
We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived, nothing was ever too much trouble. Our butler became a friend who was able to offer useful advice on a wide range of subjects. All of the staff were really very helpful, attentive and kind throughout our stay. We found that what would have been a memorable and luxurious holiday anyway was turned into something truly special by the quality of the staff. For a multitude of reasons we did have an absolutely fantastic holiday, one that will stick out in the memory for years to... more
Wonderful & Romantic Honeymoon
We travelled to Le Touessrok with high expectations and we were certainly not dissappointed! The hotel was fabulous - but definately book a junior suite on Frangipani Island - the views from the balcony, bed & bath are amazing! The rooms are large & airy. We had a bottle of champagne + a fresh fruit platter waiting for us in our room (and ice is replenished twice a day). The beaches of the hotel (and there are many!) are very clean. There are lots of wooden sun loungers + umbrellas scattered on the beaches. Each have their own... more
Expensive but worth it.
Excellent location and service although unnecessarily expensive at the bar and the restaurants. We went on Honeymoon and really can't complaint one bit although we found many of the patrons there unfriendly and often, appearing, miserable. Having said that, people do keep themselves to themselves which you should expect on this type of 'romantic' resort. We had a room on Fangipani Island which was, simply, the best room we've ever stayed in anywhere. The inclusion of Flat screen and DVD player with accompanying library is ideal... more
Wont be the last time......
Stayed here Sept 2004 for two weeks. Can't say enough good things about the place. It revitalised my interest in golf, resolved our son's dislike of kids clubs, and missus managed to get the tan she was after! As other reviewers have said it aint cheap, however I would have thought anybody going there would know that quality and service of this standard doesn't come cheap. I think it was great value and am already considering a return again this year.
Pitfalls and Pleasures at Le Touessrok
We just got back from 2 weeks at Le Touessrok. The weather is lousy at this time of year - it rained everyday but at least we got 4/5 hours of dry / weak sun weather. September the best month weather wise the locals reassured me) Great rooms - we stayed in a Junior suite on Frangipani Island and for a special treat, ask to get a room on the island. The Coral Wing doesn't look half as nice and the rooms are much older. The service and food is excellent with 3 members of staff per guest so you never, ever wait for anything. The BIG... more
Great hotel - make sure you go in the Summer!
We stayed at the Le Touessrok in June on our honeymoon. The hotel was fabulous - the rooms very nice and the resort excellent. The restaurants were all very good. We had 1/2 board which entitled us to eat in the main 'buffet' restuarant. I would definately recommend 1/2 board as the food at the restaurant was superb - and we expect quite high standards! You can choose from lots of different dishes from around the world and food is also prepared to your liking! Our room was the standard delux room. It was very good and the... more
Great for vegetarians
Service was wonderful and the staff fantastic. I am a vegetarian (non fish eating), and I did very very well indeed. The main restaurant is based on a buffet system, and you can have a Lebanese starter, followed by an Indian main course, or perhaps you prefer Italian or Indonesean? As for the desserts....take a tip and ask for one of the tiny weeny, freshly made souffles. YUM! Being vegetarian, it is a bit of a nightmare when you try to find some variety in your meals out, but Le Touessrok were fabulous. Truly a vegetarian... more
