Britannia Aberdeen Hotel Reviews
" Stayed for three nights on business.... "
Submitted By: Mr D Clark
Stayed for three nights on business. This hotel survives because there is a lack of hotel accomodation in Aberdeen. If this was not the case it could not charge £160 per night and get away with it. It is supported by oil workers who need somewhere to stay and their companies are stupid enough to pay for it. I changed room after my mattress tried to kill me as the springs dug into me. The place is needing a spruce up and the staff could do with training on how to meet and greet customers. Breakfast was Ok but was served in an off hand manner. The evening meals in the restaurant and the adjoining pub were truly awful. We made our way into Aberdeen to avoid the horror of cold food and meals which bore little resemblance to the description. Avoid like a very bad case of the plague.

The beds were comfy and we all had a good nights sleep, the next morning we went for breakfast which was buffet style and found it to be at a standard as experienced in other 3 star hotel, after breakfast we used the health suite, and found although quite small it had all necessary equipment with pool, sauna and steam room.
Overall I was more than happy with this hotel considering the price we paid for the 4 of us. And would defiantly go back again
