Apartment furniture smelly. Bedroom window opens put on to walkway so cant leave it opened at night. They were doing a lot of work to grounds at time which was good......and also some very rough people staying there at time who took over the whole pool. The rep and... more

my partner and i spent 1 week los hibiscos appartment.we found the appartment very spacios and very clean spotless clean towels and bed linen every 2nd day brough our own travel kettle and iron fridge did not work gave us new one within the hour .no complaints.we will be back

i jst got back from holiday from stayin in los hibiscos and there was nothin at all wrong wit the apartments or the staff they wer so friendly... and i would be happy to go back there again.. i couldnt find a ingle thing wrong with any of the rooms. ppl who are complaining are jst picky and ignorant...

My wife and i are going to los hibiscos for 2 weeks in november and we would like to know the cost of hiring a kettle and any other equipment we may need and is there a T.V in the aparts.

Just back from a week in Lanza with wife and 4yr old. Worried about this property as some reviews were quite poor. Have to say we had a good experience here. The receptionists were helpful, the apartments are very basic and yes, you must rent some basic items like toaster, kettle, fan etc for a fee (8-15euro per item p.w.) We were there first week of August and temps were around 30-35C which is a bit hot for us and the lack of air-con or enough windows/vents in the rooms made the apartment quite stuffy. I have just returned from a week staying in these apartments!! I have to say, having read the previous reviews prior to my trip i was really worried and not looking forward to these apartments at all. The apartments are in a great location, only a 2 min walk from the so called 'strip' and hence the beach. The apartments turned out to be fine, pretty basic, but sure that would be expected. I have just returned from a week here with my husband, sister & her husband. I was very nervous going to stay here as the majority of previous reviews were very poor but the Accommadation was very big and clean with great views. Stayed at these apartments in October 2006 for 2 weeks - a really nice time to go as it's not searingly hot and not as crowded as during the summer. On the plus side the apartments were a good size, were clean and cleaned most days, the pool although a little cold was definitely not freezing. My girlfried and I stayed in Los Hibiscos in Aug 2006, we arrived in the Hotel and the staff booking us in were extremely short with us. We then dragged our bags to our room, with a sea view!! That was about as good as this hotel got, the rooms themselves were large, but never cleaned by Hotel staff. We were extremly disapointed with these appartments! First of all when we arrived the lifts were broken and we were two flights up with heavy bags. There were a lot of steps in this complex which we wern't aware of before we booked. The appartments themselves had a constant odour from the toilets which could be smelt all over the appartment. Staying at this place is the single reason why my good friend Boo and I have never booked self service apartments for a holiday since. Maybe this isn't logical and there are some fine self service apartments out there, but our experience at Hotel Lousy Biscuits was such that we haven't considered these places since. I stayed in the Los Hibiscos in July this year for 2weeks..We booked with Sunworl hoilday group but when we arrived it was Thompson Holiday group that was taking care of us.. The rep was at the airport to meet us and we saw her the next morning for our introductary morning and that was it until the middle of the second week..
