Rooms very 'Laura Ashley' and beds very comfortable. Room and bathroom very clean.
Room was stifling hot - no aircon. Reception had run out of fans, so they immediately gave us theirs - can't ask for more than that! Extremely helpful.
Breakfast was exceptional - a very large choice and beautifully presented.
No lunch or dinner is served at the hotel, but the cottage serving teas and lunches in the riverside garden opposite the hotel was wonderful. Also try a river trip for a peaceful break from other tourists!
