Nice hotel. Very conveniently located about 5-10 minutes walk just over the bridge into Stratford upon Avon. Rooms okay sized and clean. Beds just about comfortable. Staff were mostly French speaking it seemed and not too friendly but not unpleasant. The leisure facilities were nice and we used the lovely swimming pool and steam room there twice during our 3 night stay.
I think breakfast was a little disappointing to be honest. The buffet was limited and average at best, with only 3 cheeses, items not replaced when they ran out and limited other items too.
Coffee was good, and toast was brought to the tables quickly. The cooked menu was limited too. I enjoyed my smoked haddock one day and porridge on another, but the classic full English breakfast was clearly not freshly cooked and eggs were overdone, yolks hard etc. They also did not provide an alternative to the sausages for non-meat eaters. Surely vegetarianism is not that new a thing?!
I would stay again for convenience and location but will not be rushing back.
