Just back from a week at these apartments and will not be returning, ever..They are old and tired, need a good injection of cash to bring them up to a decent, livable standard. No hot water for 2 days! One couple we spoke to had been there for 3 weeks and only had hot water... more

My partner and I have just returned from the Casserio Azul Apartments having had an awesome time in Playa Ingles. Overall there is nothing to complain about within the hotel - we only paid about £250 each for a week long self catering break so weren't expecting anything... more

Fantastic Location, not far from everything shops bars and restaurants and beach just round the corner. Clean, tidy and basic but hey it's a two star. Staff very friendly as is everyone in Gran Canaria. People who come on moaning must just love to moan this is a great place... more

My god! I hope this hotel has improved. I went with a group of 6 lads. So lets be honest here, all we wanted was a bed! Maybe that was to much to ask! Halfway through our 2nd night i came home earlier than every1 else (about 1 am) only to find the security guard in my room... more

Amazing Time from champagnemoment
Had not visited Playa de Ingles for years and was not dissapointed yet again ;-) arrived 18th dec weather overcast and rainy for the 1st 5 days then glorius sunshine;-) the apartments are well situated for all the nightlife and only 3euros to the yumbro centre. There is an excellent bar name cheers opposite where you get a good breakfast for 3euros and a kareoke bar named flashback is a good place to start your night. no one goes out until 11 as bars open until 4 china white and ministry of sound brilliant. I spent two weeks at the hotel 12-26/12 with my son.Although there were some crazy norwegians we found the hotel very well situated close to almost everything. The hotel staff were always very nice especially Juan at the reception who is very serviceminded and can speak english very well and also the cleaning lady "Macko". The only thing we could have used was a microwawe but maybe they get this for next year. I sincerely can recommend this hotel. Kristina and Simon

Have just come back from a week at this hotel, almost cancelled before I went after reading such bad reviews, all I can think is that it must of had a refit in recent times, it was so very clean, not one sign of any cockroaches! the staff were friendly tho' didn't need much contact once I'd checked in, there was always plenty of hot water, the bath, shower and toilet all worked fine infact the towels were big. fluffy peach ones, not the normal holiday appartment type. Well located, next to supermarket and shops, opposite to bars and less than 5 mins walking distance to the beach! Reception was helpful and friendly. Nice size of the room, kitchen equipped but with cheap and well used equipment, toilet had no shower holder and broken toilet flush. You have to PAY to watch a TV. That place wasn’t very clean and really needed maintenance guy touch (dead light bulbs, toilet flush, balcony door lock, etc). One most annoying thing. Bugs! everyone on here seems so fussy! i admit not for familys or older people but for youngster who just want a good time to party and go mad!! this is the place to be! its near everything right opposite point a good club to finish at.. and cheers..the best place to eat! real short distance from kasbar which is amazing!!!!!!! overall best holiday ever!!!!!! so much fun and thats all u can want! the appartments were clean and basic but livable.. didnt see any bugs or anything disgusting in the room.. only problem got told off for being soooo... more

returned from gran canaria this week. we had a great time on the island itself, as we have had for the last 5 years. the only drawback i am sad to say was the detiorating condition of our usual apartments that is caserio azul. the negative attitude by the manager did not help. the pool was freezing. we were promised every day that it would be fixed, it didnt happen. the manager would definately benefit from an anger management and basic manners course. we will be returning to gran canaria next year, but will not be staying at this shambolic... more

I stayed in this hotel and found it old and dirty. The fridge and microware were very old , the balcony door didn´t have a lock, the dining room light didn´t work and had to have it replaced next day. I had ants coming in from the balcony, also one night I woke up to go to the bathroom and was surprised to see a roach, had to kill it. Not recommended to anyone, stay out of this hotel, it really stinks. One night I needed a pharmacy to buy medicine for my daughter and the night cleck didn´t know where I could find one... more

Myself and 5 other friends have just come back from our holiday. The hotel is very basic, however very clean & tidy. The pool was very clean although the sunbeds were not fantastic - some were broken & not replaced. Perfect location, lots of bars, restaurants & shops close by even more choice a further 5mins away. Walk to the beach was 15mins & very clean. The maids would come in & clean every other day & our beds were changed once in the 10day period. Staff are very friendly. Booked these apartments on a last minute deal. Arrived to find reception closed and had to wait in high temperature until they reopened at 4pm. Pool dirty. Woken up early on first morning due to some building work being done in the apartments.Walls are paper thin which results in you being able to hear your neighbours and being kept awake when they return at night. Left and checked into another hotel at my own expense. Stay away - these apartments are only rated 1 key by the local authorities!!!!
