simply fantastic from tarbard
Having got lost called receptionist who kept calm and friendly and eventually got me to hotel! All staff couldn't be more helpful but professional. Furnishings spotlessly clean, tasteful and comfortable. Food superb. We were a group of 5 ladies coming from different parts of the country - we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to revisit in the spring/summer to take advantage of outdoor pool and gardens. Stunning location.

We have just stayed one night having got a good deal booking the day before (£80 b&b) through laterooms.com. Staff were very friendly and helpful, inc going out to get us the newspaper we wanted, free DVD hire etc. Beautifully decorated room, we had the smallest double but was fine. Good quality breakfast & efficient staff. We did not eat in the hotel - there is plenty of choice of restaurants in the village. The real bonus for a warm day after a long drive was the heated outdoor pool in a lovely garden. We certainly... more
