For anyone wanting a luxury holiday then this place is not for you! What you do get from the Lemon Tree is a friendly family run hotel with a nice atmosphere.
The accommodation is basic but rooms come with satellite TV (Turkish) and air conditioning. The swimming pool is small but as there are only 20 rooms in the hotel, it is not very crowded. Lynn and So are no longer at the hotel, but Mustafa the manager makes you feel very welcome.
The beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there are plenty of places to eat, although the hotel does great food from its own restaurant and is usually a little cheaper than most of the restaurants on the main drag. There are plenty of improvements in the pipeline for next summer and the sun always shines in Turkey so try the Lemon Tree, you might be surprised.

This small and friendly hotel is now run by Mustafa. I've known Mustafa for over ten years now and have been going back to Olu deniz with my wife and son all this time. He tries tirelessly to please everyone and is one of the friendliest guys you will ever meet.
The hotel is small with about 20 rooms and has a small clean pool, outside bar and streetside restaurant on one of the quieter back streets about 200 metres from the beach front and sea ...BUT one thing is for certain it's cheap and very good value for the money. It also attracts many Turkish holiday makers so expect to mix and mingle with the natives. In the evening the restaurant is set in amongst the olive and fruit trees and table lit by candle light ...The lifestyle here is by "Turkish Time" so don't be in a great rush ....if you are in a hurry to move on for the rest of the evening, then tell Mustafa and he will try his best to expedite things for you. nothing is too much to ask ...but be polite and smile ...say a few words in turkish too ...it goes a long way and is appreciated.
I'll be back in Mid july this year (2008) to say hello and sample the wonderful EFES beer!

We didn't stay at the Lemon Tree but had it recommended as a wedding reception venue.
We arranged a time to visit before we left the UK. When we went the first people you meet are the bar staff (Ramazan and co!) they are fantastic.
Your drink is always topped up and nothing was too much trouble our 3 year old son thought they were fantastic always willing to help him with pool and dancing.
Our Son would always ask to go there we couldn't pass without him going in. Lynn, Soo & Mustafa couldn't do enough for us.
On our wedding day everything was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and everything was brilliantly priced.
When we return to Turkey it will be to the lemon tree.
I definitely recommend The Lemon Tree book direct with Lynn & Soo they look after you and your guests.
One final thing the boys behind the bar were only too happy to put skirts on so they could look like my family from Scotland. What a fantastic time!!

First time abroad, alone. The Lemon Tree was recommended to me and I wasn't disappointed.
Lyn & Soo were amazing. Nothing was too much for them. They were very friendly and I think that rubbed off onto the rest of the guests and staff.
I went on holiday alone yet never spent a day on my own. The majority of the guests had all been to The Lemon Tree before, which shows how well looked after you are, and were very friendly.
A special Thank You goes to all the Barmen for keeping my glass topped up!
I would, and have, recommended The Lemon tree to anyone who I know is looking for a fantastic holiday with brilliant accommodation.
I would also like to Thank Lyn & Soo for making me feel very welcome. Thanks. X

Our first time at the Lemon Tree was wonderful. We booked independently through recommendation and were not disappointed with any part of the holiday.
The family room for 4 was a very good size and we liked the bunk-beds rather than a pull-out which you get at other hotels.
Lynn and Soo (the Proprietors), Mustafa (the Restaurant Manager) and all the staff made us feel very welcome and looked after all our needs. Our children in particular were extremely happy playing around the pool area and being squirted with water by Soo!
We've booked again for the school holidays and plan to return next year to.

As regular visitors to Olu Deniz, we highly recommend a holiday at The Lemon Tree having spent 2 wonderful weeks enjoying the friendly, family atmosphere at the hotel run by Lynn and Soo. Nothing is too much trouble for them or their staff and they made us feel so welcome that we're returning again in August.
The hotel is very well maintained and rooms spotless. It's perfectly situated off the main road away from the hustle, but still only 2 minutes walk to the beach.
From the pool area to the restaurant we give full marks. You would be hard pushed to find anything better in the area and look forward to spending more holidays at The Lemon Tree.

The Lemon tree hotel is a lovely little hotel set right in the heart of Olu Deniz. The hotel is only 5 mins walk from the beach and 2 minutes from restaurants/bars etc. Rooms are spotlessly clean and the room has air conditioning which was a must in august.
Shop around for cheap flights as prices can vary greatly.
Good restaurants are the secret garden 10/10 and Bella Gusto.
Drinks in Olu Deniz are very expensive. Good cocktails are at the buzz bar. A Turkish bath is a must- lovely little place in Olu Deniz called El Pasa, also had a massage there which was so relaxing. And so cheap compared to English prices for a massage.
If in Fethiye then the original Turkish baths there are stunning. Olu Deniz really caters for everyone and have never met such hospitable people as in Turkey.

A lovely atmosphere at this hotel, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and simple but sufficient for a relaxing trouble free holiday. The hotel is managed by two wonderful English ladies, Lynn and Soo, the bar and restaurant is managed by a local Turkish man, Mustapha assisted by a team of friendly and amusing bar staff, chefs and waiters. We chilled, we laughed and we even did a bit of dancing! We will go back there and would be happy to recommend to anyone looking for an independent small (20 roomed) hotel, with pool. Olu Deniz is a beautiful resort. Feel free to e-mail me for my number and I will chat to you. We booked direct via the Internet. For a 2/3 star graded holiday you cannot do better than The Lemon Tree Hotel. Andy Newland (Taunton Somerset)

We have stayed at The Lemon Tree Hotel a number of times, we book directly with Lynn and Sue, find a flight at the right price and ask that the hotel arranges our transfers.
We have always been picked up promptly and taken directly to the Lemon Tree Hotel.
All the staff are friendly and helpful and help to make our holiday such a wonderful experience.
The rooms are basic-as one expects in Turkey -but very clean .The restaurant at the Lemon Tree is second to none, and the food is very reasonable. When we were there a number of parties from other hotels came to eat at the Lemon Tree.
We are already looking forward to our next holiday as it is like staying with friends.

Well managed and very friendly atmosphere, clean, basic rooms (20), good food, the new outdoor/ part covered restaurant with bar, serves breakfast; lunch and dinner.
Accommodation and food/drinks are very reasonably priced, in fact, unbelievably inexpensive. Nicely situated pool with bar, the hotel is well placed for the beach, bars and restaurants, shops and clubs, but retains it's own tranquillity.
The proprietors, Lynn and Soo, are English and nothing is too much trouble for your comfort and enjoyment. The restaurant manager, Mustafa, is a great guy and his staff are naturally warm and welcoming, children are their favourites, and the guests are a nice mix of people We've stayed there twice, and despite other holidays, can't wait to squeeze another week in!

We were married at this hotel following some very successful previous holidays with the wonderful hosts. Lynn, Soo, Mustafa and the whole team ensured we had the wedding of our dreams. Nothing was too much trouble and they kept in close contact to ensure our needs and wishes were met. Together we organised a 3 day extravaganza with many Turkish elements and the whole event was perfect. Our 30 guests, many of whom stayed at the hotel, were delighted with the food, the service from all staff, and the uniqueness of the wedding.
With their help we had the perfect wedding and they could not have done more to make it special.
We loved this so much we holidayed there last year and are returning in October 06 with our baby daughter and we have been assured all there staff can't wait to meet her!
Highly recommended.
