I would not go there again if you paid me. It is not all-inclusive as you only get meals at set times and there are no snacks throughout the day.
The food in the restaurant is appalling and when I was there on the last day there was 4 people sent away to hospital with food positing and many more after that so a friend told us. We had to eat out every night and one morning the bread was mouldy. I feel sorry for the entertainment teem as they have to do the entertainment themselves at night no one is ever brought in to do a snake/ fire show or a Turkish night.
The entertainment is all kinky even though there are children around. During the day children get thrown out of the pool so the adults can play water polo which is unfair as the hotel is meant to be for families.

I am writing this review in August having visited in April. I have just returned from a similar holiday, at a similar resort in Sharm-El Sheikh and so feel I am in a position to make comparisons. Both holidays were booked 'last minute' and so we went (2 adults and 2 kids) with an open mind.
When we visited Pineta it was the very start of the season and so was not as busy as it could be, the resort itself was just beginning to open for the season. We found the hotel to be good although the room was a little cramped. The facilities were good and the staff excellent. The kids had a superb time partly due to the entertainment team who organised lots of activities. This entertainment carried on into the evening and was varied for all tastes. Do not expect too much, they are a group of amateur entertainers trying to keep a varied group of all ages and nationalities happy.
The food was perfectly acceptable and there was lots of variety. Once again the there were a few typical Brits wanting egg and chips and full English breakfasts-try Blackpool not Turkey!!! The cleanliness was good but I think the risk of stomach upsets will always be present due to heat and other factors-try washing your hands instead of just walking from the pool to the restaurant. I found the all-inclusive option worked very well, better than in Sharm, with the ability to help yourself to drinks. There were snacks available most of the time and nobody should be hungry, you cannot expect food to be available 24/7.
Marmaris itself is about 40mins walk away and offers everything you could want. There is a great marina, a huge choice of eating places and lots to see. Eating and drinking out is not especially cheap but the market is. There are no counterfeiting laws here and so you can buy anything with a designer name on it from copy high brand watches to designer clothes. The clothes are very good value even if you ignore the brand name on them.
Overall the family enjoyed the resort and would happily return. Compared to Sharm some things were better and some worse but it was a good stay. Our only gripe was although we booked last minute we paid about £400 more than the list brochure price. This was Thomas Cook being greedy with it being the school holidays. We paid too much but they would not budge claiming that prices can go up, and it is not always cheaper booking late. We did not necessarily expect it to be cheaper but we felt ripped-off at paying much more than the price in the brochure, especially as the brochure was only two weeks old!! We will NEVER use Thomas Cook again but we would go to Pineta again.

This was my third time in Turkey and it has to be the worst.
When we arrived it took ages to get us to our room. we couldn’t all fit in the lift and as it was 5 floors up I decided to walk instead of my mam.
rooms:
Very basic and was not cleaned properly before we arrived there were biscuits and toys under the bed from the previous people. the pool view we requested was in fact a view of a mountain and another grubby hotel.
Entertainment:
Ridiculous there was a comedy night and as it is a family hotel we thought we should go as a family but in fact we left early as it was all grown up and not suitable for youngsters. even one 18 year old shouted that it was not suitable.
Cleaning:
The room was not cleaned well and i had a nose bleed and the covers on my bed were not cleaned for the rest of the holiday about 1 week
Staff:
Animation team were friendly but the bar men and women were not. One woman we met took her all inclusive wrist band off as she was getting a white line and a bar tender went and got the manager of the hotel.
The glasses were plastic and still had lipstick on them when we complained to the waiter, he just laughed.
many people were taken to hospital and put on a glucose drip with food poisoning. We ate out every night even the bread at breakfast was mouldy.
